What does holding USDsui let you do?

USDsui is a dollar-pegged stablecoin on Sui, so holding it is mainly a way to keep and transfer a dollar-denominated balance on that network. It is intended for on-chain payments and use in Sui decentralized finance apps, where a stable-value asset can be used for swaps, lending or liquidity. Those uses depend on individual apps choosing to support USDSUI; a token’s presence on Sui does not mean every app accepts it.

USDsui is not Sui’s network fee token. You generally need SUI to pay transaction gas when sending USDSUI or interacting with Sui apps. The dollar peg is a target, not a guarantee that you can always sell or redeem one token for one dollar. Before relying on it as cash, check whether the service you plan to use supports deposits, withdrawals and redemption for this specific token.

Which chain and wallets can hold USDSUI?

USDsui is issued on Sui; it is not described as a native token of Sui or another network. To store it yourself, use a Sui-compatible wallet that supports the token and lets you verify its identity on-chain. A wallet showing a token with the same name is not enough: check that it is the genuine USDSUI asset before sending funds. Wallet support can vary, so confirm that the receiving wallet can display and transfer it.

You can also hold USDSUI through a custodial service if that service lists it, but the service controls the keys and may set its own deposit and withdrawal rules. Do not assume that a wallet supporting SUI automatically supports every Sui-issued asset. If you use a hardware wallet, check compatibility with the wallet software and token before transferring. A small test transfer can help catch an address or network mistake, though it does not remove the risks of using the wrong token or service.

How is USDsui’s supply and dollar peg meant to work?

USDsui is designed to track the U.S. dollar, but its market price can move above or below one dollar. As of 2026-11-08, it was about $0.9996, with a market capitalization of about $73.9 million. Its circulating and total supply were both about 73.96 million USDSUI; no maximum supply was listed. These figures change over time and do not establish how many tokens can be issued in the future.

Stablecoin supply may expand when new tokens are issued and contract when tokens are redeemed or removed from circulation. USDsui’s reserve composition, minting and redemption process, and the conditions for redeeming directly with the issuer are not publicly specified. That means you should not assume that every holder can exchange a token directly for one U.S. dollar. The market price can also reflect trading liquidity and demand, not just the intended peg.

How can you get and store USDsui?

You may be able to get USDSUI through a crypto service that lists it, by swapping for it in a Sui app that supports the token, or by receiving it from another holder. Availability depends on the platform, your location and its rules. Do not assume that USDsui can be bought directly from its issuer or redeemed there: the issuer’s access requirements and redemption arrangements are not publicly specified.

For self-custody, use a Sui wallet you control and keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Check the token identity, network and receiving address before confirming a transfer. For exchange or app custody, review the service’s USDSUI deposit and withdrawal status, fees, limits and custody terms. A service can pause withdrawals even while the token continues to exist on-chain. Avoid sharing your recovery phrase or signing transactions you do not understand.

What does it cost to move USDSUI?

Sending USDSUI on Sui requires a network transaction, and Sui gas is generally paid in SUI rather than USDSUI. The gas amount can vary with network conditions and the transaction’s complexity. A simple transfer and a transaction that interacts with a DeFi app may have different costs. Check the wallet’s fee estimate and make sure you have enough SUI before sending; the token balance alone may not cover the transaction.

Moving USDSUI between chains may require a bridge or another supported transfer service. That can add service charges, network fees on one or both chains, waiting time and extra smart-contract risk. USDsui is identified as issued on Sui, but fees for transferring it through a particular bridge are not published as a single fixed amount. Confirm that the destination service supports the same asset and network you intend to use. Sending to an unsupported chain or address can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

What could go wrong when you hold USDsui?

The main risks are a loss of the dollar peg, limited liquidity, issuer or reserve problems, and technical failures in the token, wallet, app or bridge you use. USDsui’s reserve composition, audit status and redemption terms are not publicly specified, so you cannot assess those protections from published details alone. Even if the market price is close to a dollar, that does not guarantee direct redemption or a buyer at that price when you need one.

There is also ordinary Sui network risk: a mistaken transfer, compromised wallet or faulty DeFi contract can cause losses. Before using USDSUI in an app, check its withdrawal arrangements and whether you can exit without relying on a single trading venue. Keep in mind that stablecoins are not bank deposits and may not have deposit insurance. Treat the peg as an intended design feature, not a promise that your balance is risk-free or instantly convertible to dollars.

What is USDsui’s history, and has it stayed at $1?

Public reporting places USDsui’s Sui launch or launch announcement in late 2025 and describes it as issued through Bridge’s platform. Further launch coverage appeared in March 2026, but an exact official launch date is not clear. Its stated role is to bring a dollar-denominated asset to Sui for payments and DeFi activity; details about the issuer’s reserves and holder redemption rights remain important gaps to check.

USDsui’s recorded high was about $1.021 on 2026-04-20, and its low was about $0.9669 on 2026-08-22. As of 2026-11-08, it was trading near $0.9996. That history shows the market price has not remained exactly at one dollar. Past prices do not establish whether the peg will hold in future, and a market price close to a dollar does not by itself prove the quality or accessibility of reserves.
