Owning UMINT: Access, Storage and Risks

UMINT represents UBS’s USD Money Market Investment Fund in tokenized form; it is not a dollar-pegged stablecoin or a general-purpose payment token. UBS Tokenise issues it, UBS Asset Management manages the fund, and DigiFT distributes it. The fund is described as investing in high-quality money market instruments under a conservative, risk-managed framework.

The intended use is to give eligible investors access to a money market fund and its income through a blockchain-based token. That does not mean a guaranteed return: the value, income and ability to redeem can depend on the fund’s terms and operating arrangements. UMINT is described as aimed at global accredited investors, so it may not be available to every retail investor or in every jurisdiction.

Before seeking access, check the current eligibility, subscription, redemption and transfer terms with the authorized distributor. Don’t assume you can buy UMINT on a regular crypto exchange or use it like cash just because it has a token symbol.

UMINT is issued on Ethereum. It is not the native token of a blockchain, and the project description does not identify other supported networks. If you hold it in a wallet, make sure the wallet is configured for Ethereum and that the specific wallet address is accepted for this fund token.

The project does not publish a definitive list of compatible wallets. Supply figures reported for UMINT conflict: circulating supply is listed as about 191,900 tokens, while total supply is about 64,393. Because circulating supply would normally not exceed total supply, those numbers should not be treated as a reliable count without confirmation from the issuer or distributor. No maximum supply is published.

As of 2026-06-10, the reported token price was about $106.20 and market capitalization about $20.4 million. These are time-sensitive figures, not a promise of redemption value or an offer price. Token prices and market-cap calculations can differ across services, particularly when circulating-supply data is inconsistent.

If you need to know how many tokens are actually issued, available to subscribe for, or eligible for redemption, check the fund’s current documents and ask DigiFT or UBS. Don’t infer the fund’s size or your share of it from a market-cap figure alone.

Treat UMINT as an investment in a money market fund, not as risk-free cash. The fund’s value and income are exposed to the risks of its underlying money market instruments, and the token adds operational risks involving the issuer, distributor, blockchain and smart contract. A tokenized fund may also be harder to sell or redeem quickly than a widely traded cryptocurrency. The project does not publish wallet compatibility or fees in the project description, so confirm both before committing funds.

For custody, use only an address and storage method confirmed as eligible by UBS Tokenise or DigiFT. Keep your seed phrase offline and private; anyone who obtains it may control assets in your wallet. Never share it with someone claiming to arrange a subscription or recovery.
