What does holding SLC let you do?

SLC is Silencio’s network token. Silencio says people contribute speech recordings and transcriptions in their languages and dialects, and can receive SLC or stablecoins for that work. The project’s stated goal is to supply consent-based speech data for AI systems; it says data buyers pay for access to its library and custom collection.

Silencio also says revenue from data sales funds SLC buybacks, paid from cash collected and tracked in a public wallet. That describes the project’s planned value flow, not a promise that buybacks will happen at a fixed rate or raise the token’s price. Holding SLC does not, by itself, establish ownership in Silencio, a claim on company profits, or a right to redeem tokens for data-sale revenue.

Before treating SLC as a payment or reward, check the current terms and supported network in the app or service you plan to use. Token utility depends on the network continuing to attract contributors and data customers, and on Silencio’s ability to turn recorded speech into data that buyers want.

Which networks can you use for SLC?

Silencio says SLC is live on Solana. Token listings also identify SLC deployments on Peaq, Ethereum, and Base, while the token is not listed as the native asset of any of those chains. A token deployment is different from a chain’s native coin, which is generally used to pay network transaction fees.

Before sending or receiving SLC, confirm the network and token address with the service you are using. A wallet balance on Solana will not automatically appear as a balance on Ethereum, Base, or Peaq. Moving tokens between networks may require a bridge or an exchange that supports both networks; bridges add smart-contract and operational risks, and the wrong network can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

Use a wallet that explicitly supports the relevant chain and SLC’s token standard. Check that the receiving platform accepts deposits on that exact network, and make a small test transfer when practical. Silencio does not publish a recommended wallet list, so do not rely on a token name or logo alone to identify the correct asset.

How much SLC exists, and can supply grow?

As of 2026-11-08, Silencio’s reported supply figures are about 34.81 billion SLC in circulation and 98.31 billion total SLC, with a maximum supply of 100 billion. The circulating amount is the portion reported as available in the market; total supply includes tokens that may not currently be circulating. The maximum is the stated cap, not the number currently in circulation.

That difference matters if you hold the token: a larger share of the supply could become available over time, potentially affecting market supply. Silencio has not published a complete release schedule in the project details, so check for updated token allocation and unlock information before making a decision. Supply figures can also vary between trackers or change as tokens are issued, moved, or reclassified.

SLC’s market price and trading activity can move sharply, particularly for a lower-priced token with a much smaller market value than major cryptocurrencies. A quoted price does not tell you how much you can sell at that price; liquidity, trading venue and order size matter. Treat any market snapshot as dated, not as a reliable valuation.

How should you store SLC safely?

For self-custody, choose a wallet that supports the specific network and SLC deployment you hold. Confirm the token address from a trusted Silencio channel or from the exchange where you acquired it, then check that the wallet displays the correct network and asset. Similar token names and symbols can be used by unrelated tokens, so a matching “SLC” label is not enough.

Back up your recovery phrase offline and keep it private. Never share it with someone claiming to help with a transfer, reward, or wallet verification; anyone with the phrase can take control of the funds. Use a hardware wallet if it supports your network and token, and test your recovery process before storing a significant amount.

If you keep SLC on an exchange, you avoid managing a recovery phrase but rely on the exchange to safeguard and release your assets. Check withdrawal availability and the network offered before depositing. A transfer to an unsupported network or address may be irreversible, and a bridge or fake token contract creates additional risks.

What are the main risks of holding SLC?

SLC’s value depends partly on whether Silencio can keep attracting contributors, meet buyers’ requirements for consent and transcription quality, and sell speech data at a scale that supports the network. The project describes existing data sales and repeat orders, but future demand, revenue and buybacks are not guaranteed. Changes in AI data needs, competition, privacy rules or customer preferences could weaken the business model.

You also face ordinary token risks: prices can fall quickly, trading may be thin, and tokens on different networks can have separate liquidity. Smart-contract defects, compromised wallets, exchange failures, bridge exploits, or mistakes when selecting a network can lead to losses. A public wallet tracking buybacks does not remove these risks or guarantee that the token can be sold at a particular price.

Speech recordings can contain personal information. Silencio’s emphasis on consent does not replace your own check of the app’s privacy terms, recording permissions and data-retention practices before contributing. Do not record other people without appropriate consent, and do not commit money you cannot afford to lose.

By the numbers

Silencio in numbers

Silencio (SLC) is ranked #1,143 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $11.4M and a price of $0.0003284 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $32.3M, so roughly 35% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was up 28.9% over 7 days, up 130% over 30 days, up 89.0% over the past year. It trades about 46% below its all-time high of $0.0006119, set on Feb 2, 2025.

About 34.81B SLC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100B (35% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $381K, or 3.3% of its market cap: moderate turnover.

SLC has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Peaq, Solana, Ethereum, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups SLC under AI tokens, DePIN tokens.

SLC FAQs

What is Silencio (SLC) used for?

Silencio says contributors can be paid in SLC or stablecoins for recording and transcribing speech. It also says revenue from speech-data sales funds SLC buybacks, but holding the token alone does not give you a claim on company profits.

Which blockchain is SLC on?

Silencio identifies Solana as a live network for SLC; token deployments are also identified on Peaq, Ethereum and Base. Confirm the exact network and token address before transferring, because assets on one network do not automatically appear on another.

What is the maximum supply of SLC?

As of 2026-11-08, reported circulating supply is about 34.81 billion SLC, total supply about 98.31 billion, and maximum supply 100 billion. Supply and allocation details can change, so check for updated figures before relying on them.

How do I store SLC?

Use a wallet that supports the network and token deployment you own, and verify the contract address rather than relying on the ticker alone. Keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone.

Do SLC buybacks guarantee its price will rise?

No. A buyback funded by data-sale revenue is not guaranteed to occur at a set pace and does not guarantee a particular token price. SLC can lose value, and you may not be able to sell at the price shown on a tracker.

What is the market cap of Silencio?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Silencio had a market cap of about $11.4M, ranking #1,143 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SLC?

Silencio's all-time high is $0.0006119, reached on Feb 2, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.00002367 (Jul 20, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SLC?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 34.81B SLC were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 100B.

Which blockchains is SLC on?

It has token contracts on Peaq, Solana, Ethereum, Base.
