## What can you use SIGNA for?

SIGNA is the native coin of the Signum network. You can use it to send value on that network and pay transaction fees. Signum also uses account balances as part of its storage-based consensus approach: participating miners commit SIGNA alongside the storage capacity used to create plots. Holding SIGNA by itself does not make you a miner or guarantee rewards; participation requires the right setup, and any mining returns can vary.

Before using SIGNA, decide whether you need it for a specific network activity or simply plan to hold it. Check the fee and destination address shown in your wallet before confirming a transfer. A payment sent to an address on the wrong network may not be recoverable. Do not assume that a service mentioning “Sign” or “SIGNA” supports Signum; confirm the asset ticker and network carefully.

## Which network and wallet should you use?

SIGNA belongs to Signum’s own blockchain, rather than being identified here as a token issued on Ethereum or another network. To store or transfer it, use a wallet that explicitly supports SIGNA on Signum mainnet. Wallet support can change, so check that the wallet is maintained and that its network and address format match Signum before sending funds.

If you buy SIGNA through an exchange, check the withdrawal network before you transfer. A displayed ticker alone is not enough: the receiving wallet must support the same network. For a first transfer, consider sending a small test amount, then confirm it arrived before moving the rest. Keep your recovery phrase or private keys offline and never enter them into a website or chat because someone claims to be offering wallet support. A hosted exchange account may be convenient, but the exchange controls the keys while your SIGNA is there.

## How much SIGNA exists, and how easy is it to trade?

Signum’s reported circulating and total supply are both about 2.20 billion SIGNA. No maximum supply is reported, so you should not assume that the total supply is capped at the current figure. Supply figures can change, and they do not tell you how many coins are readily available to trade.

Liquidity is another practical consideration. As of 2026-11-08, SIGNA’s reported 24-hour trading volume was about $3,400 and its market capitalization was about $1.4 million. Those figures are snapshots, not guarantees of what you could buy or sell at a particular price. In a thin market, a large order may move the price, and you may not be able to trade quickly at the price you expect. Check the current order book and withdrawal conditions before relying on an exchange balance or setting a transaction amount.

## How can you store SIGNA more safely?

Treat SIGNA like any cryptoasset: losing access to your keys can mean losing access to your coins. Use a wallet you obtained from a source you can verify, protect its recovery phrase offline, and do not share it with anyone. If you use a hardware wallet, confirm that it supports Signum and that you understand its recovery process before transferring a large balance.

For an exchange account, use a unique password and enable the strongest available sign-in protection. Keep only the amount you need for trading on a custodial platform, and check withdrawal limits and account-security settings. Before sending SIGNA, verify the address on the device or screen you trust; malware can replace copied addresses. A small test transfer can help catch network or address mistakes, though it cannot protect you from a compromised wallet or a fraudulent recipient.

## What could go wrong when you hold SIGNA?

SIGNA carries price, liquidity, network and custody risks. Its market was small by reported capitalization and trading volume as of 2026-11-08, which can make it harder to trade without affecting the price. A quoted price is not a promise that you can sell your coins at that level. Crypto prices can also fall sharply, and past performance does not show what will happen next.

There are operational risks too: wallet software or an exchange can be compromised, withdrawals can be delayed, and a mistaken or incompatible transfer may be difficult or impossible to reverse. Signum’s storage-based consensus features require extra care if you plan to participate; do not treat a committed balance as a guaranteed return. Before holding SIGNA, decide how you will secure it, whether you need access to it, and what loss you could afford. Avoid relying on promotional claims or a single exchange’s price display.

By the numbers

Signum in numbers

Signum (SIGNA) is ranked #2,735 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.37M and a price of $0.0006217 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($1.37M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 2.3% over 7 days, down 14.4% over 30 days, down 24.7% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $0.1219, set on Jan 5, 2018.

About 2.2B SIGNA are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $3.36K, or 0.2% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

CoinGecko groups SIGNA under Layer 1 tokens.

SIGNA FAQs

What is SIGNA used for?

SIGNA is Signum’s native coin. It is used for transfers and network fees, and balances also play a role in Signum’s storage-based consensus.

Does SIGNA have a maximum supply?

Signum does not report a maximum supply. Its circulating and total supply are both about 2.20 billion SIGNA in the reported figures.

Which wallet can hold SIGNA?

Use a wallet that explicitly supports SIGNA on Signum mainnet. Check the network and address carefully before sending, especially when withdrawing from an exchange.

Can you earn rewards just by holding SIGNA?

No. Holding SIGNA alone does not make you a miner or guarantee rewards. Signum’s consensus involves storage capacity and a committed SIGNA balance, and participation requires setup.

What are the main risks of holding SIGNA?

SIGNA can be difficult to trade in a thin market, and crypto prices can change sharply. You also face risks from exchange failures, compromised keys and transfers sent to the wrong address.

What is the market cap of Signum?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Signum had a market cap of about $1.37M, ranking #2,735 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SIGNA?

Signum's all-time high is $0.1219, reached on Jan 5, 2018. Its all-time low is $0.00002806 (Oct 27, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SIGNA?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 2.2B SIGNA were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
