## What can you use MYST for?
MYST is the token associated with Mysterium Network, a decentralized VPN and privacy network. The network connects users with independent node operators who provide internet access; MYST is used in the network’s marketplace for payments. It is not the same as Mysterium’s VPN service itself: holding the token does not automatically give you a subscription or guarantee earnings.
Before you buy or use MYST, check which role you actually need it for. If you only want a VPN, compare the service’s payment options and terms rather than assuming you need to hold the token. If you plan to use MYST in the network, learn how its current app handles payments and which token network it accepts. Token utility, access to a service and investment value are separate questions.
## Which MYST network should your wallet use?
MYST is issued on Ethereum, Polygon and BNB Chain. It is a token on these networks, not the native coin that pays their ordinary transaction fees. You will need the relevant network’s gas token to send MYST or interact with a contract, even if your wallet shows a MYST balance.
Use a wallet that supports the specific network and token contract you intend to hold. An EVM-compatible wallet may support more than one of these networks, but you may need to add the network or token yourself. Check the official Mysterium contract details before adding a token: similarly named assets can be unrelated or fraudulent.
When depositing or withdrawing through an exchange, match the selected network on both ends. A transfer sent through the wrong network may not arrive, and recovery can be difficult or impossible. Don’t assume MYST on one network is automatically interchangeable with a version on another; confirm the supported route and any bridge process before moving it.
## How many MYST tokens exist, and is supply capped?
The reported circulating and total supply is 32,433,365 MYST. A maximum supply is not published, so you should not treat that figure as a confirmed hard cap. Supply figures can also change, so check them again before relying on them for a decision.
As a dated market snapshot, MYST traded at about $0.11 and had a market capitalization of about $3.7 million on November 8, 2026. Its reported 24-hour trading volume was about $12,000 on that date. These are moving figures, not a valuation or forecast; low trading activity can make it harder to trade at a price close to the quoted one. MYST has also experienced large historical price swings, so a past high or low does not establish what it may be worth later.
Be cautious about claims that MYST has a particular burn schedule, fixed cap or holder reward. Confirm any supply-changing mechanism against current Mysterium project documentation before relying on it.
## How can you store MYST and reduce the main risks?
For self-custody, keep MYST in a wallet that supports its specific network and protect the recovery phrase offline. Never share that phrase or enter it into a site or message claiming to offer support. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys away from an internet-connected device, but it does not protect you from sending tokens to the wrong address or approving a malicious transaction.
Check the network, recipient address and token contract before each transfer. Keep enough of the network’s gas token for fees, and test with a small transfer when you are unsure. If you use an exchange instead, check its withdrawal network and account-security options; the exchange controls the keys while your tokens are on its platform.
MYST carries price and liquidity risk, along with the usual risks of token contracts, bridges, exchange custody and mistakes during transfers. On November 8, 2026, reported daily trading volume was about $12,000, which can mean limited room to trade without affecting the price. The network’s privacy purpose does not remove these risks or guarantee that every service is legal where you live.

Mysterium in numbers
Mysterium (MYST) is ranked #1,889 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $3.70M and a price of $0.1142 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($3.70M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 15.7% over 7 days, up 27.8% over 30 days, down 31.6% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $3.86, set on Jan 8, 2018.
About 32.43M MYST are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $12.2K, or 0.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
MYST has token contracts on 3 chains we track, including Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups MYST under DePIN tokens.

MYST FAQs
What is MYST used for?
MYST is associated with Mysterium Network, a decentralized VPN and privacy network. The token is used in the network’s marketplace for payments; holding it alone does not guarantee VPN access or rewards.
Which chains support MYST?
MYST is issued on Ethereum, Polygon and BNB Chain. Confirm the network and token contract before you deposit or send it, and keep that network’s gas token available for fees.
What is the maximum supply of MYST?
The reported circulating and total supply is 32,433,365 MYST. A maximum supply is not published, so this figure should not be treated as a confirmed cap.
How do you store MYST safely?
