What can you use MOE for?
MOE is Merchant Moe’s native token, for a decentralized exchange built on Mantle. It is an exchange and DeFi token, not a coin used to secure its own blockchain. The project describes MOE staking as a way to receive a share of protocol trading fees in stablecoins, represented as sMOE, and gain voting power through veMOE. These are different token forms or staking outcomes, so check Merchant Moe’s current rules before committing MOE: fee distributions and voting rights can depend on the protocol’s live terms and activity. A share of trading fees is not a guaranteed return, and it can change with trading volume and protocol decisions. If you only want to hold MOE, you do not need to stake it, but you still face the risks of price changes, low liquidity and smart-contract issues.
Which chain and wallet should you use for MOE?
MOE is issued on Mantle. The token facts do not identify other networks where it is issued, so treat a token labelled MOE on another chain as a separate asset until you verify otherwise. To hold it yourself, use a wallet that supports Mantle and can display the correct MOE token. An EVM-compatible wallet may be suitable, but confirm that it supports the Mantle network and check the token’s contract address through Merchant Moe’s official channels before adding it. A matching name or ticker is not proof that a token is genuine. If you buy MOE through an exchange, check which withdrawal networks it supports; sending through a different network than the receiving wallet expects can make funds difficult or impossible to recover. You will also need Mantle’s native gas token for network transactions, not MOE itself.
How much MOE exists, and how liquid is it?
MOE has a maximum supply of 500 million tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 188.7 million were circulating and total supply was about 450.5 million. The gap between total and maximum supply means the maximum had not been reached, but these figures alone do not tell you when or how remaining tokens might enter circulation. On the same date, MOE traded at about $0.0085, with a market capitalisation of about $1.6 million and fully diluted valuation of about $3.8 million. Its reported 24-hour trading volume was about $2, a very low figure that can make it harder to trade at a price close to a quoted price. These are snapshots, not fixed values. Check current supply and liquidity before a transaction, and do not treat the maximum supply as a floor for the token’s value.
How do you store MOE without losing access?
For self-custody, keep MOE in a wallet you control that supports Mantle, and protect the wallet’s recovery phrase offline. Never share the phrase or enter it into a site or message claiming to support Merchant Moe. Verify the network and recipient address before sending a small test transaction, particularly if you are moving MOE from an exchange. Keep enough of Mantle’s native gas token for transfers or other on-chain actions. If you stake MOE, review the current unstaking and withdrawal rules first; staking can restrict access to your tokens or expose you to contract risks. A wallet does not protect you from a fall in MOE’s market value, and a lost recovery phrase or mistaken transfer may not be reversible. Use a hardware wallet if appropriate for your security needs, and store its recovery backup separately from the device.
What could go wrong when you hold or stake MOE?
MOE is a small, volatile token. Its price was about $0.0085 as of 2026-11-08, compared with a reported all-time high of about $0.51 on 2024-01-11; past prices do not indicate what it will do next. The reported trading volume on 2026-11-08 was especially low, which can mean wider spreads, price slippage or difficulty selling the amount you want. Other risks include changes to Merchant Moe, vulnerabilities in its smart contracts, loss of access to your wallet and confusion with counterfeit tokens sharing the MOE ticker. Staking adds protocol and contract risks, and fee distributions are not guaranteed. Before using the token, verify the contract and current staking terms, assess whether you can tolerate losing your full stake, and avoid relying on a displayed price as proof that you can sell at that level.
By the numbers
MOE in numbers
MOE (MOE) is ranked #2,579 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.61M and a price of $0.008529 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $3.84M, so roughly 42% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 6.8% over 7 days, up 3.7% over 30 days, down 81.8% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.5078, set on Jan 11, 2024.
About 188.71M MOE are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 500M (38% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $2, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
MOE has token contracts on Mantle. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups MOE under DEX tokens, Exchange tokens.

MOE FAQs
What blockchain is MOE on?
MOE is issued on Mantle. The token facts identify no other issuance chain, so verify the network and contract before receiving or sending a token labelled MOE elsewhere.
Can you stake MOE?
Merchant Moe describes staking MOE as a way to receive a share of protocol trading fees in stablecoins represented as sMOE and gain voting power through veMOE. Fee distributions are not guaranteed, and you should check the current staking and withdrawal terms before committing tokens.
What is MOE’s maximum supply?
MOE’s maximum supply is 500 million. About 188.7 million were circulating and total supply was about 450.5 million as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change.
Which wallet can hold MOE?
Use a wallet that supports Mantle and the correct MOE token. Verify the contract through Merchant Moe’s official channels, and make sure any exchange withdrawal uses the same network as your receiving wallet.
What are the main risks of holding MOE?
MOE can lose value, and very low trading volume can make it difficult to trade at a quoted price. Staking also involves smart-contract and protocol risks, while a mistaken transfer or lost recovery phrase can make your tokens inaccessible.
What is the market cap of MOE?
As of Nov 8, 2026, MOE had a market cap of about $1.61M, ranking #2,579 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of MOE?
MOE's all-time high is $0.5078, reached on Jan 11, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.005859 (Jul 1, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
