Owning MAPOLLO: Uses, Storage and Risks

Midas mAPOLLO (MAPOLLO) is a tokenised certificate designed to reference the performance of selected stablecoin yield strategies managed by Apollo Crypto Fund. The strategies operate across multiple chains and are described as market-neutral and diversified DeFi strategies. Holding MAPOLLO is therefore exposure to the performance of those strategies through a token; it is not the same as holding a dollar, a bank deposit or a guaranteed-return product.

The token is intended to provide on-chain access to those strategies. That does not by itself tell you how returns are calculated, whether they are paid out or reflected in the token’s value, or when you can redeem. Before acquiring it, read Midas’s current terms for subscriptions, redemptions, fees and the way strategy performance is passed through to holders. Don’t assume that the word “stablecoin” means MAPOLLO’s value cannot fall.

MAPOLLO is issued on Ethereum. The strategies it references are multi-chain, but that does not mean the token itself can be transferred on every chain used by those strategies. Before sending tokens, confirm the supported network and the token’s contract address through Midas’s official materials. A transfer to an incompatible network or address can result in permanent loss.

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the MAPOLLO token contract on Ethereum. Check that the wallet can display and send the token, and make a small test transfer when appropriate before moving a larger amount. Keep your seed phrase or private keys offline and never share them with someone claiming they need them to release funds. If you use a custodian or exchange instead, check that it supports MAPOLLO deposits and withdrawals on Ethereum; seeing a token listed for trading does not guarantee withdrawals are enabled.

As of November 8, 2026, MAPOLLO had about 7.61 million tokens in circulating supply and about 7.61 million in total supply. No maximum supply is published. These figures describe the token count, not how much of the underlying strategies is available to redeem or what a holder may receive.

MAPOLLO was priced at about $1.13 on that date, and its market capitalisation and fully diluted valuation were each about $8.6 million. Those are dated market figures, not a promise of redemption value or a stable price. Token prices can move, and the value of a tokenised strategy may depend on strategy results, market conditions and the terms governing the token. Check current figures and the project’s terms before making a decision; don’t rely on an old price or supply snapshot.

If you hold MAPOLLO yourself, keep it in a wallet you control that supports the token on Ethereum. Protect your recovery phrase offline, use a unique device passcode, and consider a hardware wallet if you are comfortable managing one. Never enter a recovery phrase into a website or share it with support staff. A legitimate support representative does not need your phrase to help with a transfer.

Before interacting with a Midas app or signing a transaction, check the domain and read what the wallet is asking you to approve. Token approvals can give a smart contract permission to move assets; remove permissions you no longer need when you understand how to do so. Keep a record of the correct contract address and avoid copying it from unsolicited messages. A self-custody wallet reduces reliance on a custodian, but it makes you responsible for protecting keys and checking transactions.

MAPOLLO carries several risks beyond ordinary token-price movement. The strategies it references use DeFi protocols, which can face smart-contract exploits, operational failures, liquidity constraints or losses during stressed markets. Market-neutral positioning does not eliminate those risks, and diversified strategies can still lose value.

You also rely on Midas’s token and operating arrangements and on the strategy manager’s decisions. The token’s market price may differ from the value or redemption terms associated with the strategies. Before committing funds, check who is eligible to hold or redeem MAPOLLO, how redemptions work, what fees apply, whether there are delays or restrictions, and what happens if a strategy or service is disrupted. Do not treat MAPOLLO as cash or invest money you may need at short notice. If you cannot independently understand the token terms and the risks of the underlying strategies, consider whether this product is suitable for you.
