What does holding SOFION give you?

SOFION is Ondo’s tokenized version of SoFi Technologies, designed to give you economic exposure similar to holding SOFI shares. Ondo describes any dividends as being reinvested, so don’t assume that holding SOFION means you receive cash dividend payments.

This is a tokenized asset, not the same thing as buying SoFi stock through a brokerage account. Before you acquire it, check the current Ondo terms to understand what rights the token gives you, how minting and redemption work, and whether you qualify. Economic exposure does not by itself confirm shareholder voting rights or other rights associated with shares held through a broker.

Ondo describes its tokenized stocks as available to eligible non-US retail and institutional users, with minting and redemption offered around the clock, five days a week. Additional restrictions apply, so access is not guaranteed just because you can see or transfer the token on a blockchain.

Which networks and wallets support SOFION?

SOFION has been issued on Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain. It is not the native token of any of those networks; each network has its own fees and transaction rules. Make sure you know which version you hold before sending or receiving it.

Use a wallet that supports the specific network and token format, and verify the token’s official identifier through Ondo before adding it. A token with a similar name or symbol could be unrelated. If you send SOFION to an address on the wrong network, or to a wallet that cannot manage that token, recovering it may be difficult or impossible.

A wallet transfer is not the same as redemption through Ondo. If you intend to redeem, first check Ondo’s current eligibility, supported network, minimums and process. These conditions can differ from what a wallet or trading interface allows, and access is subject to additional restrictions.

How many SOFION tokens exist?

As of 2026-11-08, SOFION’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 761,269 tokens. No maximum supply figure is listed. These figures can change, so check current token data before relying on them for a transaction or comparison.

A circulating supply figure does not tell you how easily you can trade or redeem the token. Liquidity, available trading venues, network activity and Ondo’s redemption conditions matter too. A token can have a reported supply while still being difficult to exchange at the price you expect.

SOFION’s value is intended to track economic exposure to SoFi Technologies, but token prices can differ from the underlying stock’s market price. Trading availability, liquidity, fees and the mechanics of the tokenized product can all affect the price you receive. Treat supply figures as context, not as a measure of safety or a forecast.

How can you store SOFION, and what can go wrong?

For self-custody, keep SOFION in a wallet that supports its exact network, and protect the wallet’s recovery phrase offline. Never share that phrase or sign a transaction you do not understand. Check the destination network and address carefully before transferring; blockchain transactions are generally difficult to reverse.

The main risks are broader than losing access to a wallet. SOFION depends on the tokenization and custody arrangements behind the product, the issuer’s systems, smart contracts and the networks it uses. You also face market risk from SoFi shares, possible differences between token and stock prices, and liquidity or redemption limits. Ondo’s access restrictions may prevent some people from minting or redeeming.

Trading is described as available 24 hours a day, five days a week, but that does not mean every wallet or venue will always have liquidity or allow a transaction. Read the current product terms before using SOFION, and do not treat it as a substitute for directly held shares without checking the rights and conditions that apply.
