## What does KEEP do, and what should you verify?
KEEP is a token associated with Keep Network, a project designed to let smart contracts use private data stored off-chain in encrypted containers called keeps. Its design describes secure multi-party computation as a way to protect and handle that data. KEEP has also been associated with Threshold Network and tBTC, a Bitcoin-related DeFi product.
Historically, KEEP was used to assign work and help secure participation in the Keep Network. That does not by itself tell you what the token currently does: check whether KEEP has an active role in the specific product or network you plan to use. Keep Network’s published details do not establish current fees or a complete picture of its present token utility. Don’t assume that holding KEEP gives you a claim on Bitcoin, a right to income, or access to tBTC.
## Which chains and wallets can hold KEEP?
KEEP is issued on Ethereum and Harmony; it is not listed as the native token of either chain. If you hold it in a wallet, check that the wallet supports the network you are using and the particular KEEP token contract. A token with the same ticker on another chain may not be the same asset.
Before depositing or transferring KEEP, confirm the receiving platform supports the same network. Sending tokens through an unsupported network can make them difficult or impossible to recover. If a service asks you to bridge KEEP, check the bridge and destination token carefully; bridging adds another contract and operational risk. KEEP is associated with Threshold and tBTC, but that association does not mean every KEEP token can be used directly in tBTC products. Confirm the current requirements in the product you intend to use.
## How much KEEP exists?
The stated maximum supply is 1 billion KEEP, and the stated total supply is also 1 billion. About 965.2 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08. Circulating supply can change, so treat that figure as a dated snapshot rather than a live balance.
A maximum supply does not tell you how tokens are distributed, whether any are locked, or how much may become available to trade. Those details matter when you assess potential selling pressure and market depth. Keep Network does not publish enough detail here to establish a current release schedule. Don’t read the gap between circulating and maximum supply as a guaranteed future release plan; check current token and project information before relying on it.
## How can you store KEEP more safely?
For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the chain holding your KEEP. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, while a reputable software wallet may be more convenient for frequent use. In either case, protect your recovery phrase offline and never share it with a person, website or support account. Anyone who obtains it can control the assets in the wallet.
Keep a small test transfer before moving a larger balance, and verify the network and token contract on both sides. Don’t assume an exchange deposit address supports every chain on which KEEP exists. If you leave KEEP with a centralized exchange, the exchange controls the keys and may restrict withdrawals. For any migration or token upgrade, use only a route confirmed by the project’s official channels; unsolicited messages and websites offering to upgrade tokens are common ways to steal funds.
## What could go wrong when you hold KEEP?
KEEP can lose value, and the market may be difficult to enter or exit at a fair price. Its reported 24-hour trading volume was about $1,300 as of 2026-11-08, a sign that liquidity may be limited; small trades can still face wide spreads or price movement. Don’t treat a quoted price as a guarantee that you can sell at that level.
There are also project and technology risks. The token’s current utility and migration status may not match older descriptions, and an incorrect upgrade or bridge can put funds at risk. Smart-contract bugs, compromised keys and network outages are risks for crypto assets generally. Keep Network’s published details do not provide enough information to judge fees or safety before use. Verify the exact token, network and current product requirements before interacting, and only expose funds you can afford to lose.
By the numbers
Keep Network in numbers
Keep Network (KEEP) is ranked #794 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $21.3M and a price of $0.0221 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($22.1M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 3.0% over 7 days, down 11.7% over 30 days, down 63.5% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $6.10, set on May 14, 2020.
About 965.21M KEEP are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (97% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.29K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
KEEP has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Harmony. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
KEEP is linked to KEEP Network, which we cover in our Decentralized Btc rankings. See our KEEP Network page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

KEEP FAQs
What is KEEP used for?
KEEP is associated with Keep Network and Threshold Network, including the tBTC ecosystem. That does not mean KEEP itself is Bitcoin or that holding it gives you a claim on Bitcoin.
What is the maximum supply of KEEP?
The stated maximum and total supply are both 1 billion KEEP. About 965.2 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change.
Which networks support KEEP?
KEEP is issued on Ethereum and Harmony. Check the network and token contract carefully before depositing or transferring it, because a platform may not support every version.
How do I store KEEP safely?
Use a wallet that supports the chain where your KEEP is held, and keep your recovery phrase private and offline. Verify the receiving network before sending; an unsupported transfer may be difficult to recover.
Does KEEP need to be upgraded or migrated?
Treat upgrade or migration offers cautiously and confirm the current process through official project channels. A wrong contract, unsupported bridge or fake upgrade site can result in permanent loss.
What is the market cap of Keep Network?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Keep Network had a market cap of about $21.3M, ranking #794 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of KEEP?
Keep Network's all-time high is $6.10, reached on May 14, 2020. Its all-time low is $0.0141 (Jun 25, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of KEEP?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 965.21M KEEP were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.
Which blockchains is KEEP on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Harmony.
