## What does holding KAITO let you do?
KAITO is Kaito’s token for its AI-powered InfoFi network. Holding it may give you a role in governance: project descriptions associate KAITO with voting on ecosystem or protocol decisions. They also describe possible uses for incentives, ecosystem services and access to premium analytics. Those benefits depend on what Kaito offers and the rules in force; holding the token alone does not guarantee access to a particular service or a vote on every decision.
Kaito also offers Web3 research through a portal and API. That product is separate from owning KAITO, and token ownership should not be taken as a subscription or promise of free access. Before relying on any utility, check which services accept the token, how voting works, and whether eligibility or minimum holding rules apply. The value of those uses can change if Kaito changes its products or governance.
## Which wallets and chains support KAITO?
KAITO is issued on Base, an Ethereum layer-2 network. For self-custody, you need a wallet that supports Base and lets you manage tokens on that network. A custodial exchange account may also hold KAITO for you, but then the provider controls the on-chain keys and withdrawal availability depends on that provider.
Before sending or receiving, make sure the wallet or exchange supports KAITO on Base specifically. A token with the same name or symbol on another network may not be the same asset. Confirm the token contract through Kaito’s official channels rather than relying on a search result or a message from someone you do not know. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone who gets it may be able to take your tokens. If you use an exchange, secure the account with strong authentication and check its withdrawal network before transferring.
## How much KAITO exists, and what can change its value?
KAITO has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. About 241.4 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08, roughly 24% of that maximum. The difference between circulating supply and the maximum matters: future releases can increase the number of tokens available to the market. Check current project disclosures for allocation and release details rather than assuming all tokens are already circulating.
As of 2026-11-08, KAITO’s market price was about $0.21, with a market capitalization of about $51.3 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $212.6 million. These are snapshots, not stable measures of value; both price and supply can change. Governance decisions, token incentives, product adoption, market conditions and unlocks may affect demand or the amount in circulation. None of these factors guarantees a particular price movement.
## How do people get and hold KAITO?
People generally get KAITO through a crypto platform that lists it, or through a project distribution if they meet its terms. Which options are available depends on your location and the platform’s current support. Check the asset name, network and contract before accepting a transfer; do not treat an unsolicited airdrop or token claim as genuine just because it uses the KAITO name.
You can keep tokens with a custodian or withdraw them to a Base-compatible wallet. Custody is a trade-off: a platform may simplify account recovery, while self-custody gives you control of the keys and responsibility for protecting them. For a self-custody transfer, test the destination and network details carefully. Never share your recovery phrase or sign a transaction you do not understand. This is general information, not a recommendation to acquire KAITO.
## What does it cost to move KAITO?
A KAITO transfer on Base requires a network fee, usually paid in ETH on Base. The amount varies with network activity and transaction complexity, so check the wallet’s fee estimate immediately before confirming. A transfer may fail or become more expensive if you use the wrong network or need to bridge assets first.
Bridging KAITO between networks is not the same as a normal transfer. It can involve separate fees, waiting time and bridge or wrapped-token risks. KAITO is issued on Base, so do not assume a version on another chain is official or interchangeable. Exchange deposits and withdrawals can have their own minimums, processing times or charges; those are set by the provider, not by the Base network. Confirm the network and total cost before moving tokens.
## What could go wrong when you hold KAITO?
KAITO carries the usual risks of a volatile crypto token, including sharp price changes and limited liquidity at times. Its usefulness also depends on Kaito continuing to develop its InfoFi services and maintaining meaningful governance or other token functions. If token releases increase circulating supply faster than demand, that can add pressure, though it does not determine a particular price outcome.
There are also operational risks. A mistaken transfer to the wrong network or address may be difficult or impossible to reverse. Fake tokens, phishing messages and malicious approval requests can target holders, so verify contracts and read wallet prompts before signing. Base and any bridge or service you use can have their own technical risks. Governance rights do not guarantee that your preferred proposal will pass, and they do not make the token a claim on company revenue or assets.
## What does KAITO’s price history tell you?
Kaito presents KAITO as the native token and a building block of its AI-powered InfoFi network. The exact launch date is not established. The token reached an all-time high of $2.88 on 2025-02-27 and an all-time low of about $0.205 on 2026-11-05. As of 2026-11-08, its reported price was about $0.21, close to that recorded low. Past prices do not predict future performance.
Those figures show why it is worth separating the project’s potential utility from the token’s market risk. If you already hold KAITO, check current supply, governance terms, token-release information and supported networks before making a transfer or relying on a utility. If you are considering it, decide whether you understand the contract, custody and volatility risks; there is no guaranteed return or fixed value.
