What does holding HPL actually do?
HyperLend is a decentralized lending protocol in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It lets users supply assets to earn interest and borrow against collateral. HPL is the project’s token, but the stated lending functions are carried out by supplying and borrowing assets; don’t assume that simply holding HPL earns interest or gives you a role in protocol decisions. Check the token’s current function with the project before relying on any specific benefit.
As of 2026-11-08, HPL was about $0.0123, with a market capitalization of about $5.1 million. Those figures can change quickly, and a market price does not tell you whether you can sell a particular amount at that price. If you are considering using HyperLend, treat buying HPL and depositing assets into the lending protocol as separate decisions, with different risks.
Which network and wallet should you use for HPL?
HyperLend’s lending protocol is built for Hyperliquid EVM, while HPL is listed as issued on Hyperliquid L1. These names refer to related but distinct network environments, so check the exact network and token contract before sending HPL. A transfer made on the wrong network may not arrive in a wallet or exchange account you can access.
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the relevant Hyperliquid network and HPL token. Before accepting a deposit address or adding a token manually, compare the contract address and network against an official HyperLend channel. Do not rely on a token name or ticker alone; other tokens can use the same label. If you plan to move HPL through a bridge or exchange, confirm that the service supports the same network on both the deposit and withdrawal sides. Test with a small transfer first if you are unsure, while remembering that even a small transaction can be lost if the network details are wrong.
How much HPL exists, and what could change?
HPL has a maximum and total supply of 1 billion tokens. About 411.5 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08, leaving a difference between circulating supply and the stated total supply. The figures do not by themselves explain when or how the remaining tokens may enter circulation, so check the project’s current token information before making assumptions about future supply.
A larger supply does not automatically mean a token is cheap or expensive. Market value depends on demand, liquidity and other factors, while circulating supply can change. On 2026-11-08, HPL’s fully diluted valuation was about $12.3 million, compared with a market capitalization of about $5.1 million. These are estimates based on market prices and supply figures, not a guaranteed value for your holdings. Avoid treating a past high, low or short-term price change as a forecast.
How can you store HPL more safely?
Keep HPL in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase or private keys, and use a hardware wallet if it supports the correct network and token. Store your recovery phrase offline in a private place. Never share it with someone claiming they need it to validate, migrate or secure your tokens; anyone who gets it may be able to take control of the wallet.
Before sending HPL, verify the destination address, network and token contract. Be wary of unsolicited messages, imitation websites and wallet prompts you did not expect. If you connect a wallet to HyperLend, read each transaction request and check which assets and permissions it covers. Disconnecting a wallet does not necessarily undo permissions already granted, so review and revoke approvals you no longer need using a trusted tool. Keep a separate record of the correct network and contract so you can identify the token without relying on a search result or a ticker match.
What can go wrong with HPL or HyperLend?
Holding HPL exposes you to price volatility and liquidity risk: a quoted price may not be available for the amount you want to trade. The protocol adds different risks. Lending markets can have changing interest rates and limited available liquidity, and borrowing against collateral can lead to liquidation if collateral value falls or borrowing conditions change. Depositing an asset is not the same as holding HPL in your wallet, and neither guarantees a return.
Smart-contract errors, compromised accounts, oracle problems or network disruptions can also affect lending protocols. Before supplying or borrowing, check the current rates, fees, available liquidity, collateral rules, liquidation thresholds and audit coverage for the specific pool. Do not deposit money you may need at short notice, and understand how you would repay a loan or retrieve collateral if market conditions worsen. HPL’s stated supply and market figures do not establish that the lending markets are safe or that withdrawals will always be immediate.
By the numbers
HyperLend in numbers
HyperLend (HPL) is ranked #1,657 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $5.05M and a price of $0.0123 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $12.3M, so roughly 41% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 28.4% over 7 days, up 12.5% over 30 days. It trades about 48% below its all-time high of $0.0236, set on Aug 23, 2026.
About 411.54M HPL are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (41% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $66.5K, or 1.3% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
HPL has token contracts on Hyperliquid L1. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
HPL is linked to HyperLend Pooled, which we cover in our Lending rankings. See our HyperLend Pooled page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

HPL FAQs
What is HyperLend (HPL) used for?
HyperLend is a decentralized lending protocol for supplying assets and borrowing against collateral. HPL is its associated token, but don’t assume that holding HPL alone earns lending interest or provides a specific protocol benefit.
Which blockchain is HPL on?
HPL is listed as issued on Hyperliquid L1, while HyperLend’s lending protocol is built for Hyperliquid EVM. Check the exact token network and contract before transferring, since using the wrong network can make funds inaccessible.
What is HPL’s total supply?
The maximum and total supply are 1 billion HPL. About 411.5 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change, so check current token information before relying on them.
How do I store HPL?
Use a wallet that supports the relevant Hyperliquid network, verify the token contract, and keep your recovery phrase private and offline. A hardware wallet can add protection if it supports the network you need.
Is HyperLend risky to use?
Yes. HPL can be volatile and may have limited liquidity. Using the lending protocol also adds smart-contract, liquidity, collateral and liquidation risks; check the specific pool’s current terms and audit coverage before depositing or borrowing.
What is the market cap of HyperLend?
As of Nov 8, 2026, HyperLend had a market cap of about $5.05M, ranking #1,657 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of HPL?
HyperLend's all-time high is $0.0236, reached on Aug 23, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.006758 (Oct 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of HPL?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 411.54M HPL were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.
Which blockchains is HPL on?
It has token contracts on Hyperliquid L1.
