## What does holding FORT let you do?
FORT is the token associated with Forta, a network designed to monitor blockchain activity for security threats and operational issues. Forta Firewall is intended to screen transactions at the RPC level, blocking activity identified as harmful before execution; it does not make every wallet or transaction safe.
FORT has roles in network staking and governance. Staking is described as a way to help make alerts resistant to Sybil attacks, while token holders can use FORT to signal support for governance proposals. Forta has also described FORT as potentially serving as a gas token for a Forta chain, but that was presented as an expected expansion of utility, not a reason to assume it currently pays transaction fees on the networks where FORT is issued.
If you hold FORT only as a token, check which uses are currently available in the specific Forta service you plan to use. Holding the token by itself does not automatically provide security monitoring or protection for your transactions.
## Which networks carry FORT, and how much exists?
FORT is issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Arbitrum. It is not listed as the native token of any of those chains, so you will still need the relevant network’s gas asset to send FORT or interact with an app. Before depositing or withdrawing, confirm that the sending and receiving services support the same network and the correct FORT token contract. A token with the same ticker on another network may not be interchangeable.
As of 2026-11-08, about 652 million FORT were circulating, out of a total and maximum supply of 1 billion. That leaves roughly 348 million outside the circulating figure; the supply cap does not tell you when or how any remaining tokens may enter circulation. Check current token information before making decisions based on supply, since circulating amounts can change.
## What can FORT cost you to buy or move?
FORT’s price and market value can change sharply. As of 2026-11-08, FORT was about $0.0245, with a market capitalization of about $16 million and a fully diluted valuation of about $24.5 million. These are dated snapshots, not estimates of future value. A lower token price does not by itself mean a token is inexpensive, and market capitalization does not guarantee that you could sell a large holding at the displayed price.
Your costs depend on how you acquire or move FORT. An exchange may charge trading or withdrawal fees; a decentralized exchange can involve trading fees and network gas. Gas is paid in the chain’s required native asset, not necessarily in FORT. Check the selected network, quoted fee and withdrawal minimum before confirming a transfer. If you use a bridge or swap to move between networks, check its fees and risks too; you do not need to bridge simply to hold tokens on a supported network.
## How can you store FORT more safely?
You can hold FORT in a self-custody wallet that supports the network on which your tokens are issued, or keep it with a custodial provider that supports FORT deposits and withdrawals on that same network. Wallet support for one chain does not guarantee support for every FORT network. Make a small test transfer when you are unsure, and verify the destination address and network before sending the rest.
For self-custody, keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to offer support. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys isolated from an internet-connected device, but it cannot protect you if you approve a malicious transaction or send tokens to the wrong address. Use a strong device passcode, protect your email and exchange accounts with two-factor authentication, and beware of fake token listings and unsolicited messages. If a provider holds your FORT, check its withdrawal rules and understand that you depend on that provider to access your assets.
## What are the main risks of holding FORT?
FORT carries the usual risks of a volatile crypto asset: its price can fall substantially, and you may not be able to sell at the price shown on a market screen. Network use and token demand can also change. Staking or governance participation may involve additional technical, contract or operational risks, and rewards or outcomes are not guaranteed.
Forta’s security products are intended to identify or block harmful activity, but no monitoring system can promise to catch every threat. FORT’s future role as a gas token has been described as expected; do not treat that potential use as established demand. Transfers can also go wrong if you select an unsupported network, use the wrong token contract, or rely on an unsafe bridge or app. Before committing funds, check the current token contract and network support through Forta’s official channels, and only risk money you can afford to lose.
By the numbers
Forta in numbers
Forta (FORT) is ranked #945 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $16.0M and a price of $0.0245 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $24.5M, so roughly 65% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 1.1% over 7 days, up 35.5% over 30 days, down 25.5% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $0.9646, set on Jun 15, 2022.
About 651.97M FORT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (65% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.63M, or 10% of its market cap: high turnover.
FORT has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

FORT FAQs
Which networks support FORT?
FORT is issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon and Arbitrum. Check that your wallet or provider supports the specific network you plan to use, and confirm the token contract before depositing.
What is FORT used for?
Forta describes staking and governance as uses for FORT. Staking is associated with making network alerts Sybil-resistant, while holders can signal support for governance proposals; participation may involve technical and contract risks.
How many FORT tokens are there?
About 652 million FORT were circulating as of 2026-11-08, out of a total and maximum supply of 1 billion. Circulating supply can change, so check an up-to-date figure before relying on it.
How do you store FORT?
Use a wallet that supports FORT on the network where your tokens are held, or a custodial provider that supports deposits and withdrawals on that network. Keep self-custody recovery phrases offline and verify the address and network before sending.
Can you pay network gas fees with FORT?
No. FORT is issued on those networks but is not their native token, so you still need the required gas asset to make transactions. Forta has described gas use on a Forta chain as an expected future utility, not a current use you should assume.
What is the market cap of Forta?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Forta had a market cap of about $16.0M, ranking #945 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of FORT?
Forta's all-time high is $0.9646, reached on Jun 15, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.0108 (Jun 25, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
