Owning DHT: Uses, Networks and Risks

DHT is Chamber’s existing token, associated with a multichain protocol for onchain vaults. Before holding it, understand what the token does—and does not—entitle you to, which network your tokens use, and the risks of thin trading and smart contracts.

What does holding DHT give you?

DHT is the existing token for Chamber, the project formerly known as dHEDGE. Chamber is a non-custodial protocol for creating and managing onchain vaults: smart contracts govern how those vaults interact with supported assets and DeFi integrations. The wider ecosystem includes products and strategies such as Toros Finance and mStable.

Holding DHT is not the same as depositing into a vault. A token balance does not, by itself, mean you own the assets held in a vault, earn its returns, or can withdraw from it. DHT is commonly categorized as a governance token, but check Chamber’s current documentation before relying on any particular voting right, staking option, reward or other token benefit. These features can change, and older descriptions of DHT staking do not establish that a program is currently active.

If you are considering DHT, first decide whether you want the token itself or exposure to a specific vault strategy. They have different risks: vault performance depends on its assets and strategy, while DHT’s value can also be affected by token demand, liquidity and project decisions.

Which networks can you hold DHT on?

DHT has been issued on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. It is not the native gas token of those networks. You will need the network’s own gas token to pay for transfers or other onchain actions, and the amount depends on network conditions and the transaction.

Before sending DHT, confirm that the receiving wallet or exchange supports the same network you plan to use. A deposit sent on an unsupported chain may not arrive or be recoverable. If you use a self-custody wallet, select the correct network and verify the token contract against Chamber’s official information; token names and tickers can be copied by unrelated tokens. Don’t rely on a search result or ticker alone.

If you move DHT between chains, check what bridge or transfer method you are using and whether the destination version is supported by your chosen wallet or service. A token shown on one network may not be interchangeable there with a version on another. Test with a small transfer when you are unsure, while accounting for the extra gas cost.

How much DHT exists, and how easy is it to trade?

DHT has a maximum supply of 100 million tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 54.5 million were reported as circulating, with 100 million total. Circulating supply is the portion counted as available in the market; it does not mean every token is actively being traded. The difference between circulating and maximum supply is one reason to check how token distribution and future releases may affect ownership over time.

Trading activity can also matter if you may need to sell or move a holding. As of 2026-11-08, DHT’s reported market capitalization was about $2.2 million and its 24-hour trading volume was about $673. These figures can change quickly and may vary between marketplaces. A low trading volume can mean fewer buyers and sellers at a given moment, and a displayed price may not be achievable for a large order.

Treat supply and market figures as a dated snapshot, not a valuation or a forecast. Check current figures and the market depth on the venue you intend to use before making a transaction.

How can you store DHT more safely?

You can keep DHT in a self-custody wallet that supports the network on which your tokens are held. Hardware wallets can keep signing keys offline, while software wallets are more convenient for frequent transactions but are exposed to risks such as malware, phishing and compromised devices. In either case, the wallet must support the relevant network and token standard for you to see and manage the balance.

For self-custody, write your recovery phrase on paper or another durable offline medium and store it privately. Never share it with anyone, enter it into a website claiming to help recover or validate your wallet, or save it in an unprotected cloud document. A legitimate support agent does not need your recovery phrase. Consider a small test transaction before moving a larger balance.

If you hold DHT through an exchange, the exchange controls the keys and withdrawal access. Check its supported networks and withdrawal conditions, and understand that access depends on the provider. Keep your wallet software up to date and verify every address and network before confirming a transfer.

What could go wrong if you hold DHT?

DHT carries token-market risk: its price can fall sharply, and limited trading activity can make it harder to trade at a price close to the displayed quote. As of 2026-11-08, the reported 24-hour volume was about $673, so check current liquidity rather than assuming you can exit a position quickly. Past prices do not indicate what DHT will be worth later.

There are also smart-contract and ecosystem risks. Chamber vaults rely on code and interact with supported assets and DeFi protocols; bugs, exploits, or problems in an integration could affect a vault or its users. A vault’s risks are not necessarily the same as the risks of holding DHT, so review the strategy and assets before depositing. DHT holders may also face network, wallet, bridge and exchange risks when transferring or storing tokens.

Do not assume that holding DHT guarantees governance power, revenue, staking rewards or a claim on vault assets. Confirm any current token rights directly through Chamber’s official materials, and only hold an amount you can afford to lose.

By the numbers

dHEDGE DAO in numbers

dHEDGE DAO (DHT) is ranked #2,293 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $2.20M and a price of $0.0403 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $4.03M, so roughly 55% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 15.5% over 7 days, down 6.7% over 30 days, down 68.3% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $5.52, set on Mar 22, 2021.

About 54.53M DHT are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100M (55% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $673, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

DHT has token contracts on 5 chains we track, including Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

DHT FAQs

What is DHT used for?

DHT is the existing token for Chamber, formerly dHEDGE. Chamber is a non-custodial protocol for creating and managing onchain vaults, but a DHT balance is not itself a deposit into one of those vaults.

Which networks support DHT?

DHT has been issued on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. Check that your wallet or exchange supports the specific network before depositing or sending tokens.

What is the maximum supply of DHT?

The maximum supply is 100 million DHT. About 54.5 million were reported as circulating as of 2026-11-08; supply figures can change, so check for current information.

How do you store DHT?

You can use a self-custody wallet that supports DHT on its network, or hold it with a provider that lists the token. With self-custody, protect your recovery phrase and verify the network and token contract before transferring.

Does DHT ownership give you a share of vault assets?

No. Owning DHT does not mean you own assets in a Chamber vault or automatically earn vault returns. Check Chamber’s current documentation for any active token rights or programs before relying on them.

What is the market cap of dHEDGE DAO?

As of Nov 8, 2026, dHEDGE DAO had a market cap of about $2.20M, ranking #2,293 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of DHT?

dHEDGE DAO's all-time high is $5.52, reached on Mar 22, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.0192 (Jun 22, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of DHT?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 54.53M DHT were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 100M.

Which blockchains is DHT on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum.
