What can you use DEURO for?
DEURO, also written dEURO, is designed to track the euro and is used for euro-denominated crypto transfers, borrowing and savings. Its target is a euro value, not a fixed dollar price: the USD price can move with the EUR/USD exchange rate as well as with DEURO’s own market conditions.
The project describes dEURO as a decentralized stablecoin using smart contracts. It is associated with collateralized debt positions (CDPs), a model in which users typically lock collateral to borrow a stablecoin. The exact collateral requirements and liquidation rules matter if you borrow, so check the current protocol terms before depositing anything. A euro peg does not by itself mean you can redeem each token for one euro from a central issuer; confirm what redemption or exchange routes are actually available to you.
Which chains and wallets support DEURO?
DEURO has been issued on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. It is not listed as the native token of any of these networks. You will need a wallet that supports the particular network you choose, plus that network’s native coin to pay transaction fees.
Before sending DEURO, check the receiving wallet or platform supports the same network. A token sent on the wrong chain may not arrive in a form you can access. If you move it using a bridge, check that the bridge supports DEURO and understand the additional contract and bridge risks. Token addresses can differ across networks, so use a verified contract address from the project’s official channels rather than relying on a ticker search alone. Hardware wallets can protect signing keys, but they do not prevent mistakes such as approving a malicious contract or choosing the wrong network.
How stable is the peg, and how much DEURO exists?
The token data dated August 3, 2026 lists a price of about $1.15 and a market capitalization of about $1.7 million. Those figures can change quickly, and a dollar quote is not the same as the euro peg. Check current market depth and the price in euros before relying on a trade or transfer value.
Supply figures need particular care: the same dated data lists circulating supply at about 1.46 million DEURO and total supply at about 1.19 million, so the amounts conflict. It also lists no maximum supply. Do not treat either supply number as definitive without checking on-chain token balances and the project’s current supply reporting. Thin trading or limited liquidity can make the price you receive differ from a displayed quote, especially for larger transactions.
What could go wrong when you hold or use DEURO?
If you hold DEURO in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it. Check the network and token contract before accepting a transfer, and review wallet prompts carefully—an approval can grant a contract permission to move tokens. For a long-term holding, a hardware wallet may reduce exposure to malware, but it cannot remove smart-contract or market risk.
DEURO’s value can fall below its euro target if demand, liquidity or the protocol’s collateral system comes under pressure. CDP borrowing can also expose collateral to liquidation if it loses value or falls below required ratios. Smart-contract bugs, compromised keys, bridge failures and thin markets are additional risks. Before using a savings feature, check its current yield terms, lock-up or withdrawal conditions, and fees; yields are not guaranteed. Keep only funds you can afford to lose in a system whose risks you understand.
By the numbers
Decentralized Euro in numbers
Decentralized Euro (DEURO) is ranked #2,535 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.68M and a price of $1.15 as of Aug 3, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($1.68M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 1.2% over 7 days, up 0.6% over 30 days. It trades about 50% below its all-time high of $2.30, set on Jul 28, 2025.
About 1.46M DEURO are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
DEURO has token contracts on 5 chains we track, including Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
DEURO is linked to Decentralized Euro, which we cover in our CDPs rankings. See our Decentralized Euro page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

DEURO FAQs
Is DEURO pegged to the euro?
DEURO is intended to track the euro, not the US dollar. Its dollar price can therefore move with the euro-dollar exchange rate, and market conditions can also push it away from its euro target.
Which networks is DEURO on?
DEURO has been issued on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base and Arbitrum. Confirm that your wallet or exchange supports DEURO on the specific network you plan to use before depositing or withdrawing.
How does borrowing with DEURO work?
DEURO is associated with CDPs, a borrowing model that generally involves locking collateral to borrow tokens. Check the live collateral requirements, liquidation rules and fees before opening a position; these terms determine your risk.
What is DEURO’s total supply?
The supply figures dated August 3, 2026 conflict: circulating supply is listed above total supply. Treat those amounts as uncertain until you can verify current on-chain issuance and the project’s supply reporting. No maximum supply is listed.
How should I store DEURO safely?
Use a wallet that supports the network holding your DEURO, secure its recovery phrase offline and verify the token contract before interacting. A hardware wallet can help protect keys, but it does not prevent depegs, contract failures or losses from mistaken transactions.
What is the market cap of Decentralized Euro?
As of Aug 3, 2026, Decentralized Euro had a market cap of about $1.68M, ranking #2,535 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of DEURO?
Decentralized Euro's all-time high is $2.30, reached on Jul 28, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.7525 (Jan 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of DEURO?
As of Aug 3, 2026, about 1.46M DEURO were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is DEURO on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, Arbitrum.
