What does holding USDX actually get you?
Axis USD (USDX) is designed to track the US dollar. Holding it gives you a transferable Ethereum token intended to represent a synthetic dollar, not a bank deposit or a claim on a dollar held in your own account. Axis describes its backing as a market-neutral trading book, with returns generated from price differences across venues rather than token emissions.
If you hold USDX, the project says the yield-bearing route is to stake it for sUSDx. USDX itself is the dollar-referencing token; sUSDx is the form that receives the yield. That distinction matters if you want exposure to the dollar target without staking, or if you are comparing how each token works. The trading book’s performance, access to redemptions and the value of either token are not guaranteed by the dollar target. Consider what you need the token for, and check the current staking and redemption terms before relying on it.
Which chain and wallet can hold USDX?
USDX is issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. You can generally hold an ERC-20 in a wallet that supports Ethereum tokens, but check that you have selected the correct network and contract before receiving or sending it. A token with a similar name or symbol on another chain may not be the same asset.
The project description identifies Ethereum as the issued chain, and does not establish any other supported chain or official bridge. Do not assume that a wrapped or bridged token elsewhere has the same redemption rights as Ethereum USDX. For self-custody, protect your wallet’s recovery phrase offline and never share it to receive tokens or claim yield. If you use a hosted exchange or custodian, you depend on that service to safeguard and release your holdings. Confirm that the service supports the exact asset and network before transferring.
How does Axis generate yield, and who receives it?
Axis says USDX is backed by a market-neutral trading book. In its description, the strategy earns from differences in closing prices across venues; the stated source of returns is not new token emissions. The operating company is Coordinate Labs Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. These details describe the model, but do not by themselves establish how the trading book is managed, how losses are handled or what protections token holders have.
The yield-bearing form is sUSDx. Axis says staking USDX into sUSDx is how holders receive the strategy’s yield. That means yield is linked to the protocol and its trading operation, rather than being an automatic property of every USDX token. Check the current conversion, withdrawal and reward terms before staking. A dollar reference and a market-neutral strategy cannot remove trading, operational, smart-contract or counterparty risk, and returns can vary or stop.
How close to $1 has USDX stayed, and what moves supply?
As of November 8, 2026, USDX had about 68.7 million tokens in circulation and the reported total supply was also about 68.7 million. No maximum supply is specified. Those supply figures can change as tokens are minted or redeemed, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent limit.
The token is designed to reference one US dollar, but it trades at a market price set by buyers and sellers. As of November 8, 2026, its quoted price was about $1.00, and its market capitalisation was about $68.5 million. Those figures do not guarantee that you can sell or redeem at exactly one dollar. The project describes a primary market where USDX can be minted from collateral and redeemed back to collateral. The available collateral, eligibility, timing and applicable terms matter; check them before treating redemption as a reliable exit route.
How can you get USDX and keep it safely?
In general, you may be able to obtain USDX by minting it through Axis’s primary market using accepted collateral, or by acquiring it from another holder or a supported trading venue. Axis describes minting and redemption through that primary market. The exact collateral options, access requirements and trading venues are not specified here, so check the current terms before sending funds. Do not assume every exchange or wallet supports USDX just because it supports Ethereum.
For storage, you can use an Ethereum-compatible self-custody wallet or a custodial service that explicitly supports USDX on Ethereum. With self-custody, you control the keys but are responsible for protecting them and checking addresses. With a custodian, you rely on its security and withdrawal policies. If you later choose to stake, confirm that you are interacting with the intended sUSDx process and understand how to return to USDX. A displayed yield is not a guarantee of future returns.
What can it cost to transfer, mint or redeem USDX?
Sending USDX on Ethereum requires a network fee, usually paid in ETH. The fee varies with network demand and transaction complexity; it is separate from the amount of USDX you send. Minting, redeeming, swapping or staking may also involve protocol or venue charges, but the applicable amounts and fee schedule are not specified here. Review the transaction screen and current terms before confirming.
The project details establish Ethereum issuance but do not establish an official bridge to other chains. If you encounter a bridge or a token labelled USDX elsewhere, verify that it is officially supported and understand the bridge’s fees and risks before using it. A bridge can introduce additional smart-contract and operator risks, and a wrapped token may not be directly redeemable through Axis. Test addresses and networks carefully: transactions sent to an incompatible network or wrong address may be difficult or impossible to recover.
What could make USDX lose its peg or become hard to exit?
USDX can trade below or above its dollar target because market price depends on supply, demand, liquidity and confidence. The record shows a low of about $0.976 on October 29, 2026, and a high of about $1.002 on September 4, 2026. As of November 8, 2026, it was near $1. Those past prices do not predict future stability or guarantee redemption at par.
You also face risks from the trading strategy, collateral arrangements, smart contracts, wallet mistakes, custodians and any venue used to trade. Before relying on USDX as cash-like savings, check how redemption works, what collateral supports it, and what happens if the strategy or a trading venue fails. Axis has not published a launch date in the project details considered here, so its operating history cannot be assessed from a launch timeline. Keep only the exposure you can afford to have delayed, lose value or become difficult to exit.
By the numbers
Axis USD in numbers
Axis USD (USDX) is ranked #346 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $68.5M and a price of $0.9983 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($68.5M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 0.1% over 7 days, down 0.1% over 30 days. It is trading at or near its all-time high of $1.00.
About 68.65M USDX are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $294K, or 0.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
USDX has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

USDX FAQs
Is Axis USD (USDX) always worth $1?
USDX is designed to reference one US dollar, but its market price can move above or below that target. A dollar reference is not a guarantee that you can sell or redeem for exactly $1.
Which blockchain does USDX use?
Axis says USDX is issued on Ethereum as an ERC-20 token. Use a wallet that supports Ethereum tokens and verify the network and asset before transferring.
Does USDX earn yield?
Axis describes sUSDx as the staked form that receives yield. USDX itself is the dollar-referencing token; staking involves separate protocol and trading-strategy risks, and future returns are not guaranteed.
Can you redeem USDX for dollars?
Axis describes minting USDX from collateral and redeeming it back to collateral through its primary market. Check current collateral, access and redemption terms before depending on that route.
What are the fees to send USDX?
An Ethereum transfer requires ETH for network gas, and the amount changes with network conditions. Minting, swapping or staking may have additional charges; check the applicable terms before confirming.
What is the market cap of Axis USD?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Axis USD had a market cap of about $68.5M, ranking #346 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of USDX?
Axis USD's all-time high is $1.00, reached on Sep 4, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.9763 (Oct 29, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of USDX?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 68.65M USDX were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is USDX on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
