What does holding Anyswap (ANY) do?
Anyswap was a cross-chain swap protocol designed to let users exchange assets across compatible blockchains. Its description refers to Fusion DCRM technology and automated pricing and liquidity. That does not, by itself, establish that holding ANY is necessary to use swaps or that the token provides a current right to fees, governance or rewards.
There is an important distinction between the protocol’s history and the token you may hold: Anyswap rebranded to Multichain, and its token contract migrated to a new address. Treat ANY as a potentially legacy token until you verify its exact contract and status. Don’t assume an ANY balance automatically became another token, or that an old token contract is still supported. Before buying, selling or transferring, check what token the exchange or wallet is actually handling and whether it recognizes the migration.
Which chains and wallets support ANY?
ANY has been issued on Fantom, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Heco and Polygon. It is not identified as the native token of any chain. A token listed on several networks can have different contract addresses on each one, so a ticker match alone is not enough to identify the right asset.
Use a wallet that supports the specific network and token standard for the contract you hold. Before sending ANY, confirm the receiving address is on the same network, and make a small test transfer if the amount is material. Check the contract address against a trustworthy project or exchange notice, especially because the token migrated during the Anyswap-to-Multichain transition. Don’t rely on a wallet’s logo or token name: counterfeit tokens can copy both. If you cannot confirm that a recipient supports the exact contract and network, do not send the token there.
How much ANY exists, and can you trade it?
Reported supply figures as of 2026-11-08 put circulating and total ANY supply at about 13.18 million tokens, with a stated maximum supply of 100 million. These figures describe the token, not a guarantee that all units are active, accessible or accepted by exchanges. A migrated contract can also make supply figures harder to interpret, so check which contract a wallet, exchange or market is counting before relying on a total.
Supply information does not tell you how easy it is to trade. Reported 24-hour trading volume was only about $12 on that date, a sign that activity may be very thin. With little liquidity, a small order can move the quoted price sharply, and you may not be able to sell at the displayed price. Treat any quoted value as a snapshot, not an amount you can necessarily realize.
How can you store ANY without losing access?
For self-custody, keep ANY in a wallet you control that supports its exact network and contract. Write down your recovery phrase offline and keep it private; anyone who obtains it may be able to take the assets. Never enter it into a website or share it with someone claiming they need it to process a migration, unlock funds or verify your wallet.
Before moving ANY, verify the network, destination address and token contract independently. Be cautious with unsolicited migration messages and token-approval requests: a malicious approval can let a contract spend tokens. If you use an exchange, confirm it accepts deposits of the same ANY contract on the same network; an unsupported deposit may be difficult or impossible to recover. Don’t send tokens to an address simply because it has the same ticker or a similar name.
What could go wrong when you hold ANY?
The central risk is contract and migration confusion. Anyswap’s token contract was rebranded to Multichain and migrated to a new address, so old ANY listings, balances and instructions may not mean the same thing as a current supported asset. Verify the token’s contract and migration status before you trade or transfer; don’t assume a conversion will happen automatically.
ANY also carries the usual crypto risks: prices can fall sharply, a thin market can make selling difficult, and software or bridge-related problems can put funds at risk. The protocol description does not establish that every supported chain or asset remains available today. Avoid treating past prices or stated maximum supply as evidence of future value. If you cannot establish that the token is supported by the wallet or exchange you plan to use, keeping it there or sending it onward may expose you to an unrecoverable loss.
By the numbers
Anyswap in numbers
Anyswap (ANY) is ranked #1,392 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $7.66M and a price of $0.5807 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($7.66M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 1.1% over 7 days, down 7.2% over 30 days, down 37.6% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $33.66, set on Jan 14, 2022.
About 13.18M ANY are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 100M (13% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $12, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
ANY has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Fantom, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

ANY FAQs
Is Anyswap (ANY) the same as Multichain?
Anyswap was a cross-chain swap protocol, but its token contract later rebranded to Multichain and migrated to a new address. Verify the exact ANY contract and its current support before treating a token as active.
Which networks has ANY been issued on?
ANY has been issued on Fantom, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Heco and Polygon. It is not identified as a native token of any of these networks, and you should confirm the contract and chain before sending it.
What is the supply of ANY?
Reported circulating and total supply were about 13.18 million ANY, with a stated maximum of 100 million, as of 2026-11-08. Migration can complicate comparisons, so check which contract a supply figure refers to.
How do I store Anyswap tokens safely?
Use a wallet that supports the specific network and contract for your tokens. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private, and verify the receiving address and network before transferring.
What are the main risks of holding ANY?
The key concerns are confusion between old and migrated contracts, thin trading activity, price volatility and the possibility of unsupported deposits or transfers. Confirm the exact asset is accepted before moving it.
