What does holding SODA let you do?
SODA is the token associated with SODAX, a cross-chain DeFi platform. The token’s stated roles include staking, governance and the protocol’s fee model. Stakers can receive xSODA, which is used for governance influence; xSODA is not a settlement token. Check the current staking and governance terms before committing tokens, including how unstaking works and whether any lock-up or other conditions apply.
SODAX itself offers intent-based swaps, lending, vaults and borrowing across more than 20 chains and supports more than 120 assets. Those are platform services, not guarantees that holding SODA earns a return or gives you access to every service. If you are considering SODA for a specific purpose, confirm that the function is active and available to you, and read the transaction details before signing. Token governance and staking also carry protocol risk: the value of any voting influence or staking position depends on how the project operates and on the market value of SODA.
Which SODA network should your wallet use?
SODA is issued across multiple networks, including Sonic, Polygon, BNB Chain, Hyperliquid L1, NEAR, Kaia, Stellar, Sui, Ethereum, Hedera, Base, Avalanche, Injective, Solana, Arbitrum and Optimism. SODAX describes itself as built on Sonic, but SODA is not listed as a native token of any chain. A token issued on one network is not automatically interchangeable with a version on another.
Before receiving or sending SODA, check the network and token contract against SODAX’s official token details. Your wallet and the receiving service must support the same network and token version. A wrong-network transfer may be difficult or impossible to recover. Although SODAX says its platform handles cross-chain activity without requiring users to bridge or switch networks themselves, that does not mean every wallet or exchange can receive SODA from every listed chain. Confirm the deposit network with the recipient before transferring, and consider a small test transaction when the service supports it.
How much SODA exists, and how much can there be?
SODA has a maximum supply of 1.5 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 1.079 billion were circulating and total supply was about 1.499 billion. These are different measures: circulating supply estimates tokens in the market, while total supply counts tokens created. The maximum is a cap, not an indication that all tokens are circulating or that the circulating figure will stay unchanged.
If supply matters to your decision, check it again before acting. Token supply figures can change, and a circulating amount alone does not tell you how tokens are distributed, when additional tokens may enter circulation, or how concentrated ownership is. SODAX’s token allocation and release schedule should be checked in its current documentation rather than inferred from the supply totals. Figures such as market value and trading activity also move over time and should not be treated as fixed facts.
How can you store SODA without a network mistake?
Store SODA in a wallet that supports the specific network on which your tokens are held. A self-custody wallet gives you control of the recovery phrase and signing keys, so keep the recovery phrase offline and private; never share it with someone claiming they need it to help with a transfer or staking. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, but you still need to verify the network, token details and transaction before approving it.
For an exchange account, confirm that deposits and withdrawals are enabled for the exact SODA network you plan to use. Do not assume an exchange supports every chain where SODA is issued. When connecting to SODAX or another DeFi app, check the site address independently, review wallet permissions, and read the transaction request carefully. Be cautious with token approvals: a smart contract may be allowed to move tokens under the terms of the approval. Revoke approvals you no longer need using a trusted wallet tool, and never approve a transaction you do not understand.
What could go wrong with SODA or SODAX?
SODA combines token-market risk with the risks of using DeFi. Its price can fall sharply, and thin trading activity can make it harder to trade at a desired price. As of 2026-11-08, SODA was about $0.0055, with a market capitalization of about $5.9 million; these figures are a dated snapshot, not a forecast. The token’s role in staking, governance and fees does not guarantee demand, a return or future value.
Cross-chain services add technical and operational risks. Smart-contract errors, compromised keys, network interruptions, incorrect token versions or transaction mistakes can lead to loss. Lending and borrowing can also expose you to collateral and liquidation risks, depending on the service’s terms. Before using a SODAX feature, inspect its current documentation, contract information, security disclosures and applicable fees. Do not put funds into a contract merely because a wallet displays the token or because a transaction is presented as routine.
By the numbers
SODAX in numbers
SODAX (SODA) is ranked #1,562 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $5.93M and a price of $0.005498 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $8.24M, so roughly 72% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 31.0% over 7 days, down 40.2% over 30 days. It trades about 94% below its all-time high of $0.0964, set on Jan 1, 2026.
About 1.08B SODA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1.5B (72% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $23.2K, or 0.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SODA has token contracts on 16 chains we track, including Sonic, Polygon, BNB Chain, Hyperliquid L1. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups SODA under DEX tokens, Exchange tokens.

SODA FAQs
What is SODA used for?
SODA’s stated roles include staking, governance and the SODAX fee model. The platform also offers swaps, lending, vaults and borrowing, but those services do not make holding SODA a guaranteed source of income.
Which networks support SODA?
The listed networks include Sonic, Polygon, BNB Chain, Ethereum, Solana, Base, Avalanche, Arbitrum and others. Confirm the exact network and token version with your wallet or exchange before depositing or sending SODA.
What is SODA’s maximum supply?
