## What does owning SDEX let you do?
SDEX is the token associated with SmarDex, an automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange. SmarDex’s stated aim is to reduce impermanent loss for liquidity providers. Impermanent loss can happen when the prices of tokens in a liquidity pool change relative to each other; it is not the same as a guaranteed loss, and a protocol’s design cannot remove all risks of providing liquidity.
The token’s precise current benefits are not clearly established here. Don’t assume that simply holding SDEX gives you a share of trading fees, voting rights, staking income or discounted trades. Check the current SmarDex documentation and the specific token contract before relying on any claimed benefit. Holding SDEX is also different from depositing tokens into a liquidity pool: providing liquidity exposes you to pool-specific risks and is not required just to hold the token.
## Which networks and wallets can hold SDEX?
SDEX is reported on Ethereum, Base, Solana, Polygon, BNB Chain and Arbitrum. It is not identified as the native token of any of those networks. Tokens with the same name and ticker can have different contracts, so confirm the network and official contract address before you receive or send SDEX. A token appearing in a wallet or search result is not proof that it is the right asset.
Choose a wallet that supports the network holding your SDEX. EVM-compatible wallets commonly support Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain and Arbitrum, but you still need to select the correct network and have its native coin available for transaction fees. Solana uses a different wallet ecosystem. SmarDex has a reported SDEX migration, so check which contract is current before transferring, trading or interacting with an older token. Do not send tokens to a new contract or migration address unless the project’s official instructions confirm the process.
## How much SDEX is in circulation?
As of 2026-11-08, reported circulating supply was about 9.81 billion SDEX, total supply about 9.87 billion, and maximum supply 10 billion. That leaves relatively little room between the reported total and maximum, but supply figures can change and should be checked against the contract before you make a decision. A maximum supply is not the same as the amount currently circulating.
The reported market capitalization was about $6.6 million on that date. Market capitalization and trading volume can move quickly, and a small market value does not tell you how easily you can sell a particular amount. Check order depth and the trading venue you plan to use; thin liquidity can increase price impact or make a trade difficult to complete at the displayed price. Supply alone does not indicate whether SDEX is suitable for you.
## How should you store SDEX safely?
Store SDEX in a wallet that supports its specific network and token contract. For a self-custody wallet, keep the recovery phrase offline and private; anyone who gets it may be able to control your assets. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys offline, but it does not protect you from approving a malicious transaction or using a counterfeit token contract.
Before transferring or connecting a wallet:
- Confirm the network and current SDEX contract using SmarDex’s official channels.
- Send a small test amount if you are unsure about the destination or network.
- Read each wallet approval and avoid granting broad permissions you do not understand.
- Keep enough of the network’s native coin for transaction fees.
Be especially cautious around migration messages. Never share your recovery phrase or follow unsolicited instructions to “upgrade” a token.
## What could go wrong when you hold or use SDEX?
SDEX carries the usual risks of a volatile crypto asset, including sharp price changes and limited liquidity. Reported SDEX migration also creates a practical risk: an outdated contract, incorrect network or unofficial migration offer could leave you with an asset that is hard to use or recover. Confirm the current contract and process before taking action.
If you use SmarDex as a liquidity provider, you also face smart-contract risk and the possibility that your pool position performs worse than simply holding the deposited tokens. The protocol’s stated goal of reducing impermanent loss is not a guarantee against losses, exploits or changing market conditions. Check whether contracts have current audits and whether the project publishes details of any changes; do not assume a contract is safe because it has been used before. Only commit funds you can afford to lose, and distinguish the risk of holding SDEX from the additional risks of trading or providing liquidity.
By the numbers
SMARDEX in numbers
SMARDEX (SDEX) is ranked #1,492 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $6.56M and a price of $0.0006683 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($6.59M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 36.0% over 7 days, up 57.9% over 30 days, down 77.9% over the past year. It trades about 97% below its all-time high of $0.0263, set on Mar 11, 2024.
About 9.81B SDEX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 10B (98% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $6.79K, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SDEX has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Solana, Polygon. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
SDEX is linked to Smardex, which we cover in our DEXes rankings. See our Smardex page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

SDEX FAQs
What is SDEX used for?
SDEX is the token associated with SmarDex, an AMM decentralized exchange designed to reduce impermanent loss for liquidity providers. Its exact current benefits for holders should be verified with the project before you rely on them.
Which networks support SDEX?
SDEX is reported on Ethereum, Base, Solana, Polygon, BNB Chain and Arbitrum. Confirm the current contract address and network before receiving or transferring it, particularly because a token migration has been reported.
What is the maximum supply of SDEX?
As of 2026-11-08, circulating supply was reported at about 9.81 billion SDEX, with a maximum supply of 10 billion. Supply figures can change, so check the token contract for current values.
How do I store SDEX safely?
Use a wallet that supports the network and the current SDEX contract. Protect your recovery phrase offline, verify addresses before sending, and treat unsolicited migration instructions with caution.
Does SmarDex eliminate impermanent loss?
No. SmarDex’s stated goal is to reduce impermanent loss for liquidity providers, not to guarantee that liquidity positions avoid losses. Providing liquidity also adds smart-contract and market risks beyond simply holding SDEX.
What is the market cap of SMARDEX?
As of Nov 8, 2026, SMARDEX had a market cap of about $6.56M, ranking #1,492 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of SDEX?
SMARDEX's all-time high is $0.0263, reached on Mar 11, 2024. Its all-time low is $0.0003811 (Jul 7, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
