What can you use ADS for?
Adshares (ADS) is the token for a Web3 advertising protocol designed to let ad servers monetize space in metaverses, blockchain games, NFT exhibitions and websites. The project describes a decentralized marketplace where advertisers can buy placements and ad-server operators can connect advertising inventory to the protocol.
For you as a holder, ADS is intended to support participation in the protocol’s DAO-style governance. The project also describes holders as able to benefit from protocol monetization, but that does not establish a fixed dividend or guaranteed income. Check how any proposed distribution works, who qualifies and what costs apply before treating it as a return. Token use and adoption depend on advertisers and ad-server operators choosing to use the network; holding ADS alone does not guarantee demand or revenue.
Which networks can hold ADS?
ADS has its own delegated proof-of-stake blockchain, and token versions are also issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon and BNB Chain. These versions are not interchangeable at the address level: a transfer must use the network supported by both the sending service and the receiving wallet. Sending a wrapped token to an address on the wrong network can make it difficult or impossible to recover.
Before depositing or withdrawing, check the network name and token contract shown by the service you are using. The project describes ADS on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Polygon as bridged or wrapped tokens; these versions can have bridge and smart-contract risks that native-chain ADS does not share in the same way. Confirm whether a wallet supports the native Adshares chain rather than assuming an Ethereum wallet can hold it. Also check that the network is currently supported for deposits and withdrawals: a token appearing in a wallet does not mean every exchange accepts it.
How much ADS exists, and can supply change?
As of 2026-11-08, about 38.75 million ADS were reported as circulating, with total supply around 38.76 million. A maximum supply is not reported. Supply figures can change, so treat these as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent limit.
The project describes native ADS as deflationary through burning and dividend mechanisms, but those terms do not by themselves tell you how much supply will be burned, when it happens or whether holders receive payments. Look for current tokenomics and governance decisions if those details affect your decision. Do not assume that a burn guarantees a price increase, or that a stated dividend mechanism means every holder receives a predictable payout. Circulating supply, total supply and any future changes are separate from the number of tokens held in your wallet.
How should you store ADS?
Choose a wallet that explicitly supports the network and ADS version you hold. For native ADS, confirm native-chain support; for an Ethereum, Base, Polygon or BNB Chain version, select the matching network and verify the token contract before receiving funds. Keep a small test transfer as an option when moving a significant amount, and do not share your recovery phrase or private keys with anyone claiming to help.
A hardware wallet can reduce exposure of signing keys to an internet-connected device, but it cannot protect you from approving a malicious transaction or using the wrong network. Keep your recovery phrase offline in a secure place, and make sure you understand how to restore the wallet before relying on it. Adshares materials also refer to an inactivity fee for native ADS and say bridged versions can avoid it; check the current terms and costs before choosing which version to hold.
What could go wrong when you hold ADS?
ADS carries the usual risks of a small, volatile crypto asset: its market price can fall sharply, and you may not be able to sell quickly at a price you consider fair. Its value also depends on real use of the advertising protocol, competition for ad inventory and the project’s ability to maintain its network and products.
There are additional technical and governance risks. Native-chain transactions depend on the Adshares network and its validators; token versions on other chains add bridge, smart-contract and issuer-related risks. DAO voting can change project direction or token arrangements, and taking part does not guarantee that a proposal will pass or benefit every holder. Before using ADS for staking, governance or a monetization feature, check the current rules, lock-up conditions and fees. Never risk money you cannot afford to lose, and keep enough of the relevant network’s transaction token for any transfers or contract actions.
By the numbers
Adshares in numbers
Adshares (ADS) is ranked #924 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $16.6M and a price of $0.4292 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($16.6M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 2.2% over 7 days, down 8.3% over 30 days, down 49.7% over the past year. It trades about 92% below its all-time high of $5.72, set on Apr 3, 2022.
About 38.75M ADS are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $105K, or 0.6% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
ADS has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

ADS FAQs
What is Adshares (ADS) used for?
Adshares describes ADS as the token for its Web3 advertising protocol and DAO-style governance. The project also says holders may benefit from protocol monetization, but this should not be treated as guaranteed income.
Which blockchain is ADS on?
ADS has its own delegated proof-of-stake blockchain, and token versions are issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon and BNB Chain. Check the exact network and token version before you deposit or transfer it.
What is the supply of ADS?
As of 2026-11-08, about 38.75 million ADS were circulating and total supply was around 38.76 million. A maximum supply is not reported, and these figures can change.
How do I store ADS safely?
Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and ADS version you hold. Keep your recovery phrase offline, verify the receiving network and token contract, and never disclose your private keys.
What are the main risks of holding ADS?
Yes. In addition to market volatility, native ADS depends on its own network, while bridged or wrapped versions add bridge and smart-contract risks. Confirm current fee terms and network support before moving or using your tokens.
What is the market cap of Adshares?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Adshares had a market cap of about $16.6M, ranking #924 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of ADS?
Adshares's all-time high is $5.72, reached on Apr 3, 2022. Its all-time low is $0.0103 (Sep 4, 2020). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of ADS?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 38.75M ADS were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is ADS on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain.
