Neutral Trade lets you deposit into on-chain vaults run by trading firms. The strategy choices and custody safeguards are described, but fees and redemption timing need checking before you commit.

SkyBitcoins rating

Quick take

Neutral Trade may suit crypto users who want managed market-neutral, directional or RWA strategies through on-chain vaults. Its main appeal is access to strategies run by KYB-verified firms, with a stated $100 minimum for most vaults and trading access restricted so firms cannot withdraw. Before depositing, check the chosen vault’s fees, redemption terms and audit reports; those details are not fully published here.

Which Neutral Trade vaults can you choose?

Neutral Trade is a marketplace for on-chain vaults managed by trading firms that have passed know-your-business (KYB) checks. You can choose among market-neutral strategies, such as basis trading and funding-rate arbitrage; directional strategies that take positions based on market trends; and strategies with exposure to real-world assets, including equities and commodities. It also describes a savings product called NT Earn.

Each vault is presented as having its own objective and risk profile. Neutral Curated strategies have passed fuller due diligence and a live test using Neutral Trade’s capital. Marketplace strategies have basic due diligence but have not been tested with Neutral Trade capital. Voltr vaults are permissionlessly launched and managed by curators, and Neutral Trade says it does not review those strategies. These categories matter: a listing on the platform does not mean every vault has received the same review.

What could Neutral Trade cost you?

Neutral Trade does not publish its deposit, management, performance or withdrawal fees here. It also does not give a full fee schedule for individual vaults. Before depositing, look for the vault’s terms and calculate how any fees could affect your net returns.

The platform says most vaults accept deposits from $100, but minimums may differ. It displays target or trailing annual percentage yields for some featured strategies. These figures are not guaranteed returns: past performance and target yields do not ensure future results, and strategy losses can reduce the value of your deposit. Market-neutral strategies also carry risks; the label does not mean a vault is risk-free or protected from market movements.

Ask what the displayed yield represents, whether it is before or after fees, and how often performance data is updated. If those points are unclear for a particular vault, do not assume the headline yield is the amount you will receive.

How much protection do Neutral Trade’s controls provide?

Neutral Trade describes its vaults as non-custodial smart contracts and says trading firms can trade funds but cannot withdraw them. Its infrastructure includes custody through Ceffu, Copper and Fordefi MPC, and connections to nine venues. These controls may limit some risks, but they do not eliminate smart-contract vulnerabilities, trading losses, venue failures or risks involving custody providers.

Neutral Trade says its vault contracts have been audited by four independent security firms. The firms and audit reports are not named here, so you cannot assess the scope, date or unresolved findings from that claim alone. KYB checks are business verification, not a financial-services licence or a guarantee of a firm’s performance. The platform describes monitored track records for firms, but a track record cannot predict future results.

Treat each vault as an investment with risk of loss. Before you deposit, look for the relevant contract addresses, audit reports, strategy terms and custody arrangements. Do not send funds until you understand who controls the assets and how a vault handles an operational or security incident.

What should you check before connecting a wallet?

Neutral Trade lists Solana, Robinhood Chain, Ethereum and Monad. It says anyone with a supported crypto wallet can access its strategies, but it does not specify wallet compatibility or supported deposit assets here. Confirm both in the app before connecting a wallet or transferring funds. The platform also says vault balances and performance data are published on-chain.

A cautious first deposit starts with checking that you are on the official app, selecting the exact vault and network, and reading the vault’s strategy and risk information. Confirm the minimum, asset, fees and redemption rules before approving a transaction. A wrong network or token transfer can be difficult or impossible to reverse.

The platform says firms cannot withdraw from the vaults, but your access to funds can still depend on the vault’s redemption process and the underlying strategy. Neutral Trade does not publish exact redemption timing or limits here. Check whether a withdrawal can be delayed, what conditions apply and how you would monitor its status before committing funds.

Where does Neutral Trade leave you with unanswered questions?

Neutral Trade’s main limitation is that important decision-making details are not fully public here. Fees, vault-by-vault redemption terms, supported assets and wallet compatibility need to be checked directly for the strategy you want. The platform also does not name the four audit firms or provide their reports here. Without those details, it is harder to compare the full cost, liquidity and security posture of one vault with another.

Due diligence varies across the platform. Curated strategies have a fuller review and a live test with Neutral Trade capital; Marketplace strategies have basic due diligence and have not been tested with that capital. Voltr is a separate, permissionless offering that Neutral Trade says it does not review. Do not treat these categories as interchangeable.

There is also no guarantee that a market-neutral vault will avoid losses, or that a target or trailing yield will continue. If you need a regulated deposit account, guaranteed returns, simple fixed withdrawal access or complete fee disclosure upfront, this product may not fit. Only deposit an amount you can afford to lose.

5 steps

How to start with Neutral Trade

  1. 1

Open the official Neutral Trade app and confirm the network and wallet it supports before connecting.

  2. 2

Choose a specific vault and check whether it is Curated, Marketplace or a Voltr vault; the review level differs.

  3. 3

Read that vault’s strategy, risk profile, supported asset, fees, minimum deposit and redemption terms.

  4. 4

Check the vault contract and request the relevant audit reports and details about custody and trading venues.

  5. 5

Start only with an amount you can afford to lose, and keep a record of the transaction and vault terms.

Neutral Trade FAQs

What is Neutral Trade?

Neutral Trade is a marketplace for on-chain investment vaults managed by trading firms that have passed KYB checks. Vaults cover market-neutral, directional and real-world-asset strategies, with a separate savings product also described.

What is the minimum deposit on Neutral Trade?

Most vaults accept deposits from $100, according to Neutral Trade. The minimum may vary by vault, and you should check the specific vault before depositing.

Can trading firms withdraw your funds?

The platform describes its vaults as non-custodial smart-contract vaults and says firms can trade but cannot withdraw funds. It also names Ceffu, Copper and Fordefi MPC for custody infrastructure, so this does not remove smart-contract, trading, or third-party risks.

Have Neutral Trade vaults been audited?

Neutral Trade says its vault contracts have been audited by four independent security firms, but it does not name them here or publish audit reports here. An audit does not guarantee that a vault is safe or that its strategy will make money.

What are Neutral Trade’s fees and withdrawal rules?

Neutral Trade does not publish its fees or the exact redemption timing and limits here. Check those details for your chosen vault before depositing, since costs and withdrawal conditions can affect your returns and access to funds.
