What does holding RIO let you do?
RIO is the utility token associated with Realio Network, a platform for issuing, investing in and trading digital assets, including tokenized real-world assets. Realio describes its network as combining permissioned and permissionless components, with tools for asset issuers and investment products. That does not mean holding RIO gives you ownership of property, shares or any other asset issued through the platform. Check the terms of a specific offering to understand what rights, if any, its tokens represent.
RIO is described as a network gas and utility token, but the exact functions available to holders can depend on the network and product. Do not assume that holding RIO automatically grants governance votes, staking rewards or a claim on platform revenue. Those benefits should be confirmed in the terms for the specific feature before you commit funds. RIO’s connection to real-world-asset technology also does not make its market price track the value of those assets.
Which RIO network should your wallet use?
RIO has been issued on Ethereum, Algorand, BNB Chain, Stellar, Base, Osmosis and Solana. These are separate networks, so a RIO balance on one chain is not automatically spendable on another. Before sending tokens, check the network selected by both the sending and receiving wallet or exchange, and confirm that the recipient supports RIO on that network. A transfer to an incompatible address or chain can be difficult or impossible to recover.
Use a wallet that supports the specific chain and token format you hold. EVM-compatible wallets can support networks such as Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base, but that does not mean every wallet supports the other RIO networks or recognizes the token automatically. Confirm the asset using an official contract or token identifier before adding it; do not rely on a matching name or ticker alone. If you use a bridge or exchange to move RIO between networks, check its supported routes, fees and withdrawal network first. The token’s exact identifier can differ by chain.
How much RIO exists, and what can supply tell you?
The reported circulating and total supply is 330.5 million RIO, with a maximum supply of 330.5 million. These figures are dated November 8, 2026; token supply can change if the project updates its issuance or reporting. The matching total and maximum indicate no additional supply beyond that stated cap, but check current token information before relying on the figures.
As a dated market snapshot, RIO was about $0.038 and its market capitalization about $12.6 million on November 8, 2026. Its reported price had fallen about 78% over the preceding year. These figures can move quickly and do not establish what RIO is worth to you. A small market capitalization or a low unit price does not make a token low-risk, and trading volume can affect how easily you can buy or sell at a quoted price. Use current figures only as context, not as a forecast.
How can you store RIO without losing access?
Treat RIO as a token you could lose access to permanently if you mishandle the wallet or its recovery phrase. Keep your recovery phrase offline in a secure place, never share it, and avoid entering it into a website, message or form claiming to offer support. Use a strong device passcode and enable wallet security features where available. A hardware wallet may reduce exposure to online attacks, but it cannot protect you from approving a malicious transaction or sending tokens on the wrong network.
Before a large transfer, send a small test amount and verify the destination address and chain independently. Keep a record of which wallet holds each version of RIO and how you would restore access. If you hold RIO on an exchange, review its custody and withdrawal arrangements; the exchange controls the private keys. Never trust unsolicited messages promising RIO rewards or asking you to connect a wallet, sign a transaction or reveal your recovery phrase.
What risks should you check before holding RIO?
RIO carries both ordinary crypto risks and risks tied to its multichain setup. Prices can be volatile, and a token available across several networks may have different liquidity or trading conditions on each one. Fake tokens can use the same name or ticker, while a mistake in the selected network, address or bridge can result in permanent loss. Smart-contract flaws, compromised wallets, exchange failures and changes to the project can also affect your holdings.
Realio’s focus on tokenized assets does not guarantee that every offering is available to you, properly valued or protected by the same rules. Digital securities and other investment products can have eligibility requirements, legal restrictions and limited resale options. Check the offering documents and applicable rules where you live before participating. Realio’s token description alone does not establish that RIO is a regulated investment or that holders have rights in any underlying asset. Only commit funds you can afford to lose, and do not rely on past prices or project language as a promise of future performance.
