What does holding NVDAC give you?
NVDAC is a tokenized security that gives you economic exposure to Nvidia shares; it is not a direct Nvidia share or a native cryptocurrency. Coinbase Onchain SPV Ltd issues the certificate, which represents a beneficial interest in shares held in a segregated custody account. Onchain Marketplace Ltd operates the tokenization infrastructure and maintains the legal ownership register.
Each token initially represents a 1:1 beneficial interest in an underlying share, but that ratio can change to account for reinvested distributions, fees, taxes, corporate actions and other adjustments. Distributions received on the shares are generally reinvested after applicable costs, with the benefit reflected in the ratio. That means NVDAC’s terms and issuer arrangements matter: holding the token is not the same as holding NVDA directly through a brokerage account.
Which network and wallet can hold NVDAC?
The token is issued on Base, an Ethereum Layer 2 network. To hold or transfer NVDAC yourself, you need a wallet that supports Base and the token’s contract. Check the network and token identity carefully before sending; a wallet address on another network may not be able to receive this Base token. You will also need the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees.
NVDAC may be used in supported decentralized finance markets, but availability depends on the specific platform and its rules. A token showing in your wallet does not guarantee that a trading pool, lending market or redemption route is available to you. Check that the platform recognizes this exact asset and that you can withdraw it before depositing. Do not confuse NVDAC with other tokenized Nvidia products that use different symbols or issuers.
How much NVDAC is in circulation, and what affects its value?
NVDAC’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 34,566 tokens as of 2026-11-08; no maximum supply is published. Its reported market capitalization was about $6.5 million, with roughly $5.3 million in 24-hour trading volume. The token’s reported price was about $187.32 on that date. These figures can change and do not guarantee that you can trade at the quoted price.
Supply alone does not tell you how easily you can sell. Check the actual trading venue, available liquidity, bid-ask spread and any restrictions before relying on a displayed market price. Tokenized stocks can trade at a premium or discount to the underlying share, especially when markets or transfer routes are limited. NVDAC’s share-to-token ratio may also change, so do not assume that one token will always correspond to exactly one share.
How can you store NVDAC, and what could go wrong?
For self-custody, use a Base-compatible wallet and protect its recovery phrase offline. Never share the phrase or approve a transaction you do not understand. Before moving a meaningful amount, verify the token and network, and consider a small test transfer. If you keep NVDAC with a third-party platform, review its custody, withdrawal and account-access terms instead.
The main risks are issuer and custody risk, as well as the possibility that legal or operational arrangements affect your ability to transfer or realize the token’s economic value. The underlying shares are held with a broker-dealer and custodian, but that does not remove all counterparty risk. Smart-contract faults, wallet mistakes, thin liquidity, changing market prices and DeFi platform failures can also lead to losses. Review the token’s current eligibility, transfer and redemption terms before relying on access to the underlying shares; those terms may limit who can use particular routes.
