What can you do with PROS?
PROS is Prosper’s token, and the clearest stated use is staking it for BTC rewards. That may appeal if you want exposure to a token-based rewards program, but do not treat the advertised reward as guaranteed income: the reward rate, how it is funded, lock-up rules, withdrawal conditions and fees all matter. Prosper’s token-holder rights are also not established here, so do not assume that holding or staking PROS gives you governance power, a claim on mining revenue, or ownership of Bitcoin.
Before committing tokens, check the current staking terms in Prosper’s own app and make sure you understand how rewards are paid and whether you can unstake at any time. Confirm the contract or platform you are interacting with, and review any independent audit information. If those details are unclear, you may prefer not to stake. Staking introduces platform and smart-contract risks in addition to PROS price risk; BTC rewards do not protect you if the value of PROS falls or you cannot withdraw.
Which networks and wallets can hold PROS?
PROS is issued on Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base; it is not listed as the native token of any of these networks. That means you need to hold it on the same network as the transfer or staking destination. A wallet that supports Ethereum does not automatically show or send PROS held on Base or BNB Chain. Check the selected network and token contract carefully before you deposit or transfer.
You can use a self-custody wallet that supports the relevant network, or a custodial exchange that explicitly supports PROS deposits and withdrawals on that network. Support can differ by platform and may change, so confirm the exact network before sending. A small test transfer can help catch a network or address mistake, though it does not remove smart-contract risk. Network transactions generally require the network’s own gas token, separate from PROS. Keep enough of it to pay transaction fees, and never send PROS to an address unless the recipient confirms it accepts the same token on the same chain.
How much PROS exists, and what does that mean?
PROS has a maximum supply of 100 million tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 90.3 million were circulating, against a total supply of 100 million. The difference between circulating and total supply is worth checking if you are assessing future dilution: tokens outside circulation may enter the market, but the timing and release schedule are not specified here. A maximum supply does not by itself prevent price declines or guarantee demand.
As of 2026-11-08, PROS traded at about $0.027, with a market capitalisation of roughly $2.5 million and a fully diluted valuation near $2.7 million. These are snapshots, not stable values. Trading volume was about $67,000 over 24 hours, so a large order may be harder to execute at the displayed price, particularly on a less liquid venue. Compare the live price, liquidity and network supported by the venue before acting, and consider that quoted prices can vary between exchanges.
How do you store PROS more safely?
For self-custody, store PROS in a wallet that supports the network where your tokens are held. Write down your recovery phrase offline and keep it private; anyone with that phrase may be able to control the wallet. Do not share it with Prosper support, a website, or someone offering to help. Use a hardware wallet if it suits your needs, and verify the destination address and network on the device before approving a transfer.
If you stake PROS through an app, check exactly what permissions you are approving. A token approval can let a smart contract move tokens from your wallet, so avoid unlimited approvals when a smaller amount will do and revoke permissions you no longer need using a trusted wallet tool. Be wary of fake staking pages, unsolicited messages, copied apps and requests to connect your wallet or sign transactions. A legitimate-looking interface is not proof that a contract is safe. Losing a recovery phrase, approving a malicious contract or sending tokens on the wrong network can result in permanent loss.
What could go wrong if you hold or stake PROS?
PROS combines the usual risks of a smaller crypto token with uncertainties around its staking offer. Its market price can move sharply, and the reported 24-hour trading volume was modest as of 2026-11-08. That can make it difficult to trade a larger amount quickly without affecting the price. The token’s stated BTC-reward use also depends on Prosper’s program continuing to operate and on its terms being clear; a reward offer is not the same as a guarantee of return.
Before staking, look for the reward calculation, fees, lock-up and unstaking rules, custody arrangements, token-holder rights and independent audit details. Do not assume PROS gives you a direct claim on Bitcoin mining proceeds or on real-world assets. Check that any contract address and app are official, and understand what happens if a contract is exploited or the service becomes unavailable. Only use funds you can afford to lose, and avoid borrowing to buy or stake a volatile token.
