What does holding POLYX let you do?

POLYX is the native token of Polymesh, a permissioned Layer 1 blockchain designed for regulated assets. If you hold it, its practical roles are paying network transaction and protocol fees, staking to help secure the network, and participating in on-chain governance. It is not a share in Polymesh or a claim on the value of assets issued on the network.

Polymesh is built on the Substrate framework and uses Nominated Proof of Stake. Its focus on identity, compliance, confidentiality and settlement makes it different from an open network where anyone can interact without permission. That design may matter if you use Polymesh applications, but it also means access can depend on the network’s rules and the requirements of a particular asset or service.

Before acquiring POLYX, ask whether you need it for a specific Polymesh activity. If you are holding it only as an investment, remember its usefulness to the network does not guarantee demand for the token or a particular market value.

Which network and wallet should you use?

POLYX is native to Polymesh. Do not assume that a token with the same symbol on another network is interchangeable with it, or that an exchange withdrawal on a different network will arrive in a wallet you control. Check the network selected for both the withdrawal and the receiving address before confirming a transfer. A mistaken network choice can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

A Polymesh Wallet is named as a wallet option for the network. Before using it, confirm that the version you install supports the Polymesh network and that you can back up and restore your wallet. For an exchange account, check whether POLYX withdrawals and deposits are supported on Polymesh specifically.

With a self-custody wallet, keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to control the wallet. Test a new address with a small transfer when practical, and never share your recovery phrase with a person claiming to provide wallet support.

How much POLYX exists, and is supply capped?

POLYX has a circulating and total supply of about 1.34 billion tokens as of November 8, 2026. No maximum supply is listed, so you should not treat the current total as a fixed cap. Supply figures can change, and the number alone does not show how many tokens are actively available to trade or how ownership is distributed.

The quoted market price was about $0.031 on that date. That is a dated snapshot, not a current quote or a guide to future value. Market prices can move sharply, and the amount you could receive when selling may differ from a displayed price because of liquidity, trading fees and execution.

If supply matters to your decision, check current Polymesh token information and compare circulating, total and any reported future issuance figures. Do not assume that staking rewards, if offered, are cost-free: new issuance or other reward arrangements can affect your share of the overall supply.

What should you check before staking or voting?

You can stake POLYX through Polymesh’s Nominated Proof of Stake system to support network security. Search results also describe staking through validators and nominators. Staking is different from simply holding tokens in a wallet: you delegate or otherwise commit tokens under the network’s rules, and your ability to move them may be affected while they are staked.

Before staking, check Polymesh’s current rules for how to nominate, how rewards are calculated, whether there is an unbonding period, and what penalties may apply to validator behavior. Do not rely on a displayed reward rate without checking its terms; rewards can change and are not guaranteed profit. Also consider whether you might need access to the tokens before the staking process lets you withdraw them.

Governance is another stated use of POLYX. Confirm the current participation process and any eligibility requirements before counting on your tokens to have a particular voting role. Keep records of your staking choices and use official wallet or network interfaces rather than links sent in unsolicited messages.

What could go wrong when you hold POLYX?

POLYX carries market, network and custody risks. Its price can fall, and the dated market figures above do not predict what it will be worth later. A token’s utility also depends on people and applications using Polymesh; a permissioned design can limit who may take part in particular activities. Changes to regulation, network rules or demand for regulated-asset services could affect the project and token.

There is also the usual risk of losing access through a stolen recovery phrase, a compromised device, a mistaken transfer or a fraudulent staking offer. A transaction on a blockchain may be difficult to reverse. Verify wallet software and addresses independently, and treat unexpected messages asking you to connect a wallet or reveal a recovery phrase as suspicious.

Only hold an amount you can afford to lose. If you are comparing POLYX with other tokens, consider whether you need its network functions, how you would store it, and whether you can tolerate both price volatility and the possibility that a transfer or staking position will not be immediately recoverable.

By the numbers

Polymesh in numbers

Polymesh (POLYX) is ranked #503 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $40.9M and a price of $0.0306 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($40.9M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 11.2% over 7 days, down 21.5% over 30 days, down 61.6% over the past year. It trades about 96% below its all-time high of $0.7488, set on Mar 31, 2024.

About 1.34B POLYX are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

24-hour trading volume was about $256K, or 0.6% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

CoinGecko groups POLYX under Layer 1 tokens, Real-world asset (RWA) tokens.
