What can you use PLU for?
PLU is a loyalty-style token linked to the Plutus app, rather than a token with a broad set of uses across unrelated services. Plutus describes rewards in PLU for eligible Bitcoin deposits made toward purchases, and says users can use PLU in the app to add funds to a contactless spending balance. Its description also refers to instant conversions with no fees, but you should check the app’s current terms and availability before relying on those features.
PLU is not a stablecoin: it does not have a stated fixed value in dollars. Its usefulness to you depends on whether the app supports the features you want, and whether you can transfer or sell the token when needed. Treat any reward rate or spending feature as conditional on current program rules, not as guaranteed income.
Which network and wallet can hold PLU?
PLU is issued on Ethereum; it is not listed as the native token of a separate blockchain. To hold it yourself, use an Ethereum-compatible wallet that supports the PLU token. Before sending PLU, check that the receiving wallet or exchange accepts it on Ethereum and confirm the token details from a trusted Plutus channel. Sending tokens to an unsupported address or using the wrong network can make them inaccessible.
An exchange account may let you hold or trade PLU, but the exchange controls the keys. With a self-custody wallet, you control the keys and are responsible for keeping them safe. Ethereum transactions generally require ETH to pay network fees, so keep enough ETH available if you plan to move PLU on-chain. Fees vary with network conditions; they are separate from any app-specific conversion or spending terms.
How much PLU is in circulation?
As of 2026-11-08, the stated circulating and total supplies are both about 14 million PLU, against a maximum supply of 20 million. That leaves roughly 6 million below the stated maximum that are not included in the total supply figure; these supply figures do not say whether or when more tokens might be issued. Check the project’s current token information before making decisions based on supply.
PLU’s price was about $0.13 on 2026-11-08, with a market capitalisation of about $1.8 million and 24-hour trading volume of about $8,700. These are snapshots, not fixed values. The relatively small reported trading volume can make it harder to trade a large amount at a price close to the displayed quote. A market price also does not guarantee that you can redeem PLU for that amount through the app.
How should you store PLU safely?
For self-custody, store PLU in a wallet that supports Ethereum tokens and protect the wallet’s recovery phrase offline. Never share that phrase or a private key with someone claiming they need it to unlock rewards or fix a transaction. If you use a hardware wallet, check that it supports Ethereum assets and that you understand how to confirm transactions on its screen.
Before sending a small or large balance, verify the network, token and recipient address. Consider a small test transfer first, especially when using a wallet or exchange for the first time. If you keep PLU on an exchange, secure the account with a unique password and available login protections, and check the platform’s withdrawal rules. A lost recovery phrase, compromised account or mistaken transfer may be difficult or impossible to reverse.
What could go wrong when you hold PLU?
PLU carries platform risk because its stated utility depends on the Plutus app and the terms and availability of its reward and spending features. Those terms can change, and a token balance does not by itself guarantee a particular rebate, cash value or ability to spend. Check the current app rules and any restrictions that apply to your account before counting on PLU for a purchase.
There is also market risk: PLU’s price can fall, and limited trading activity may make it difficult to sell at the price you expect. Ethereum introduces transaction-fee and wallet-operation risks, while token transfers are generally not reversible if you send to the wrong address. Do not treat past prices, reward rates or app features as a promise of future value or access.

Pluton in numbers
Pluton (PLU) is ranked #2,468 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.82M and a price of $0.1302 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($1.82M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 1.7% over 7 days, down 13.5% over 30 days, down 49.9% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $32.76, set on Jan 5, 2018.
About 14M PLU are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 20M (70% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $8.72K, or 0.5% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
PLU has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
