Owning TONIC: Uses, Storage and Risks
TONIC is Tectonic’s Cronos token, while supplying assets to its lending markets is a separate risk. Check the token’s role, wallet network and protocol status before using either.

What does TONIC do if you hold it?
Tectonic is a lending and borrowing protocol on Cronos. You can supply assets to its markets in pursuit of interest, or borrow by putting up more collateral than you borrow. TONIC is the protocol’s associated token; it is not the same thing as a deposit in a lending market, and simply holding TONIC does not earn lending interest. TONIC has been described as a token for governance and staking in a community insurance pool, but check whether those functions are currently active and what conditions apply before relying on them. If you are considering Tectonic, treat supplying assets and holding TONIC as separate decisions: each has its own risks. The token’s price and trading activity can also be highly volatile. As of 2026-11-08, its market capitalization was about $1.9 million, with roughly $1,300 in 24-hour trading volume. Those figures can change quickly and do not indicate whether the protocol is safe to use.
Which chain and wallet do you need for TONIC?
TONIC is issued on Cronos; it is not listed as the native token of a blockchain. To store or transfer it, you need a wallet that supports Cronos and the TONIC token. Before sending funds, confirm that your wallet is on the Cronos network and that you have selected the correct TONIC token entry. Do not rely on a matching ticker alone: different tokens can share a symbol. Confirm the token contract through Tectonic’s official channels before adding a token manually or making a transfer. You may need CRO to pay Cronos network transaction fees; that fee is separate from any lending-market charge or borrowing interest. A transfer to an incompatible network or an incorrect token contract can leave your assets inaccessible. If you plan to use Tectonic’s lending markets, check that the market and contract you intend to use are currently supported, rather than assuming every TONIC wallet can interact safely with the protocol.
How much TONIC exists, and what do supply figures tell you?
TONIC has a maximum and total supply of 500 trillion tokens. About 308 trillion were circulating as of 2026-11-08, so the circulating amount was below the stated maximum. A large token count does not by itself tell you what one token is worth or how much ownership it represents; check the supply and market data together. As of that date, TONIC traded at about $0.000000006149, and its fully diluted valuation was about $3.1 million. These are dated figures, not a forecast, and market prices, trading volume and valuations can move sharply. Before using TONIC in a transaction, check the current balance and any token-denominated amounts carefully: the many zeros make it easy to misread quantities. The project’s token supply figures alone do not establish how much TONIC is held by users, how much may be sold, or whether the token’s governance or insurance role has practical value.
How can you store TONIC without losing access?
For self-custody, keep TONIC in a wallet that supports Cronos and protects its recovery phrase. Write the phrase down and store it offline in a secure place; anyone who gets it may be able to control the wallet. Never share it with someone claiming to provide support, and be cautious of unsolicited messages, fake token listings and links that ask you to connect your wallet. A hardware wallet can reduce exposure of signing keys, but it cannot make a risky contract safe or reverse a mistaken transaction. Check the network and recipient address before confirming each transfer. If you use a custodial exchange or wallet instead, you rely on that provider to safeguard and return your assets, and TONIC withdrawals may be restricted. Keep a small amount of CRO available for Cronos transaction fees if you need to move the token. Store TONIC separately from assets you have deposited into Tectonic; wallet ownership does not remove the risks of using lending contracts.
What could go wrong before you deposit into Tectonic?
The main risks are different for holding TONIC and depositing assets into Tectonic. TONIC can lose value or become difficult to trade, especially when trading activity is low. A lending protocol adds smart-contract, collateral, liquidation and market risks: supplied assets may be exposed to contract failure, and borrowers can face liquidation if collateral values fall or market rules change. Tectonic has a reported 2026 attack. Before depositing, check current Tectonic notices for the incident’s status, affected contracts or markets, and any steps users must take; do not assume a market is safe because its interface is available. Confirm that withdrawals are operating and understand the current borrowing and supply terms before committing funds. No deposit return is guaranteed, and TONIC itself is not a guarantee or insurance policy against losses. If you cannot verify the current protocol status or understand how liquidation and withdrawals work, avoid treating a displayed rate as a reason to deposit.

Tectonic in numbers
Tectonic (TONIC) is ranked #2,430 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.89M and a price of $0.000000006149 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $3.07M, so roughly 62% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 5.3% over 7 days, down 24.6% over 30 days, down 71.2% over the past year. It trades about 100% below its all-time high of $0.000003220, set on Aug 30, 2026.
About 308T TONIC are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 500T (62% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $1.31K, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
TONIC has token contracts on Cronos. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

TONIC FAQs
What is TONIC used for?
TONIC is associated with Tectonic, a lending and borrowing protocol on Cronos. It has been described as serving governance and community-insurance staking, but check whether those features are currently active before relying on them.
What network is TONIC on?
TONIC is issued on Cronos, so you need a wallet that supports the Cronos network and the correct token. Confirm the token contract through Tectonic’s official channels before transferring or adding it manually.
What is TONIC’s maximum supply?
TONIC has a maximum supply of 500 trillion, with about 308 trillion circulating as of 2026-11-08. Supply figures do not predict the token’s price or guarantee demand.
Is Tectonic safe to use?
TONIC can lose value, and holding it is not the same as depositing assets into Tectonic. Lending deposits also carry smart-contract, liquidation and withdrawal risks; Tectonic has a reported 2026 attack, so verify its current status before depositing.
Does holding TONIC earn interest?
No. Holding TONIC alone does not earn lending interest. Supplying assets to a Tectonic market is a separate action with its own terms and risks, so check the current market conditions before committing funds.
What is the market cap of Tectonic?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Tectonic had a market cap of about $1.89M, ranking #2,430 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of TONIC?
Tectonic's all-time high is $0.000003220, reached on Aug 30, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.000000006043 (Nov 7, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of TONIC?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 308T TONIC were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 500T.
Which blockchains is TONIC on?
