## What can you do with OTO?
Otomate (OTO) is an ERC-20 token on Ink, and its stated use is to access the Forge for THE 404 MACHINE NFT collection. You can permanently burn OTO through the Forge to create an NFT. This links a fungible token to a limited NFT collection, but it does not make OTO a share in the collection or guarantee that an NFT can be resold for more than the tokens used to create it.
If you are considering OTO, start by deciding whether you want to use the Forge or simply hold the token. Holding OTO by itself does not create an NFT; forging requires a one-way token burn. The project also provides access to OTO trading through its official interface. Treat that as a way to reach trading, not evidence that a market will have buyers or dependable liquidity when you want to sell.
## What should you check before using the Forge?
The Forge requires 44,400 OTO to create one Machine NFT, and there are 2,000 public Forge spots. The token burn happens immediately. You cannot return the NFT to recover the OTO, so check the amount, the NFT collection and the transaction details before confirming. A mistaken or unwanted Forge transaction may not be reversible.
The public spot limit is not a promise that spots will remain available. Before sending tokens, check the Forge interface for current availability and confirm that it is the official Otomate interface. Make sure your wallet is connected to Ink and that you understand any network transaction costs shown by your wallet. Do not rely on a social post or message that asks you to send OTO to a separate address to “reserve” a spot.
## Which network and wallet do you need for OTO?
OTO is issued as an ERC-20 token on Ink; it is not described as the native token of a chain. To hold or transfer it, use a wallet that supports Ink and ERC-20 assets on that network. Check the selected network before sending: an address format that looks familiar does not by itself mean a wallet or exchange supports deposits on Ink.
Use Otomate’s official interface to verify the token details before adding or trading OTO, and do not rely on a token name or symbol alone—other tokens can use similar labels. If your wallet requires you to add a token manually, verify its contract information through an official project channel before entering it. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone who gets it can potentially control your wallet. A hardware wallet can help protect signing keys, but it cannot make a transaction safe if you approve the wrong action.
## What do OTO’s supply and trading figures tell you?
As of 2026-11-08, OTO’s reported circulating supply was about 288.7 million, with total supply of about 443.9 million and a maximum supply of 444 million. The difference between circulating and total supply matters: tokens not currently circulating may affect future availability, but the figures alone do not explain when or how any remaining tokens might enter circulation. Otomate does not publish a release schedule in the token details summarized here, so do not assume the gap will remain unchanged.
Trading conditions also matter if you may need to sell. On 2026-11-08, OTO’s reported market capitalization was about $3.3 million and its 24-hour trading volume was about $32. That very low reported volume can make it difficult to trade at a desired price, and a displayed price is not a guarantee that you can sell your holdings at that price. These are dated snapshots, not forecasts.
## What could go wrong when you hold or use OTO?
OTO combines token-price risk with the risks of using a smart-contract-based NFT Forge. The token’s market price can move sharply, and thin trading can widen the difference between quoted and executable prices. The Forge adds a separate risk: burning OTO is permanent, while the NFT you receive may be hard to sell or may not be worth the tokens spent to create it. Do not treat the 44,400 OTO requirement as a guaranteed NFT resale value.
Protect your wallet by checking the network, recipient and transaction details before signing. Be cautious of unsolicited messages, fake Forge pages and requests for your recovery phrase; legitimate support should not need it. Consider using a separate wallet for app interactions and keep only the funds you intend to use in it. If you are unsure what a transaction authorizes, stop and verify it before proceeding. Never commit funds you cannot afford to lose.

Otomate (OTO) is ranked #1,976 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $3.27M and a price of $0.0113 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $5.03M, so roughly 65% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was up 0.6% over 7 days, down 8.5% over 30 days. It trades about 30% below its all-time high of $0.0162, set on Sep 21, 2026.
About 288.71M OTO are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 444M (65% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $32, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
OTO has token contracts on Ink. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
