Owning ORBIO: Credits, Wallets and Risks

ORBIO is presented as a way for holders to receive OpenRouter inference credits. Orbio.so says half of trading fees are converted into inference credits and distributed to holders, with the value denominated in dollars. These credits are for AI model use; they should not be confused with a cash dividend or a guaranteed return. The project does not publish detailed rules here for how a holder’s share is calculated, when credits are distributed, or how you claim them. Check those terms before treating the token as a way to pay for AI services. If you only want to use OpenRouter, compare the credit arrangement with paying for model access directly. ORBIO’s usefulness depends on the project continuing to generate trading fees, converting them as described, and making the credits usable for your needs. Holding the token alone does not establish that you have a fixed amount of credits coming to you.

The token is listed as issued on Robinhood Chain, but the project information also describes Orbio.so as a Solana project. That mismatch matters: tokens with the same name or symbol on different networks may not be interchangeable. Before you buy, receive, or transfer ORBIO, confirm the official contract address and network through a project-controlled channel. Do not rely on the ticker alone. Use a wallet that explicitly supports the verified network and token standard, and make sure you have the network’s native asset available if you need to pay transaction fees. If a wallet or exchange shows a deposit network, it must match the network used by your ORBIO. Do not bridge or send tokens to resolve the discrepancy unless the project documents that route. A transfer to an incompatible network or address can be difficult or impossible to recover.

As of 2026-11-08, the stated circulating, total, and maximum supply are all 950 million ORBIO. That means the published figures show no additional supply beyond the maximum, but they do not tell you how tokens are distributed among holders, whether any wallets are concentrated, or whether tokens can be locked or otherwise become unavailable. Those details can affect how much ORBIO is available to trade. The token’s market value can also change sharply; supply figures do not tell you what a token is worth or what it may be worth later. If you are checking an exchange or wallet, verify that its ORBIO listing uses the same network and contract as the project’s official token. Treat an unfamiliar token with the same ticker as a separate asset until you can confirm otherwise.

Store ORBIO only after confirming its contract and network. For a small balance you may choose a reputable wallet that supports that network; for a larger balance, consider a hardware wallet if it supports the correct chain and token standard. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private. Never share it with someone claiming they need it to distribute credits or verify your account. Save the correct network and contract details somewhere you can check them before a transfer, and send a small test amount first if you are unsure. A wallet can display a token without being able to use it safely, so confirm that it supports sending and receiving on the verified network. If you hold ORBIO on an exchange, check its custody, withdrawal options, and supported network; an exchange balance does not give you control of the private keys.
