## What does holding NFTX actually give you?

NFTX (NFTX) is the protocol’s governance token, used to vote on proposals about the project. The protocol is designed to support trading in NFT collections through vaults: users can deposit eligible NFTs and receive ERC-20 vault tokens associated with those assets. Those vault tokens are distinct from NFTX itself. Holding NFTX does not, by itself, mean you can redeem a particular NFT or claim a share of a vault.

Before you buy or hold it for a specific purpose, check what voting rights are currently available and whether proposals are active. Governance power is not the same as guaranteed influence or a financial claim. If your aim is to trade NFTs, also examine the vault’s assets, trading activity, fees and redemption rules; owning NFTX is not a substitute for checking those conditions.

## Which network and wallet do you need?

NFTX is issued on Ethereum, rather than being the native coin of a separate blockchain. You will generally need an Ethereum-compatible wallet that can hold ERC-20 tokens. Before transferring NFTX, confirm that the wallet supports Ethereum and that you have selected the correct network; sending tokens on an unsupported network can make them difficult or impossible to recover.

Use the project’s official channels to verify the token contract address before receiving or trading NFTX. Do not rely on a token name or ticker alone, since unrelated tokens can use the same label. Keep enough ETH in your wallet for Ethereum transaction fees, which vary with network demand. NFTX’s own trading or vault costs may be separate, so check the transaction details before you confirm an action.

## How much NFTX exists, and how should you read its value?

NFTX has a reported circulating, total and maximum supply of 650,000 tokens each. Treat the maximum as the project’s stated supply figure, not as a guarantee that governance or token-contract rules can never change. Check the token contract and current project governance before relying on supply assumptions.

As of 2026-11-04, NFTX was priced at about $5.85, with a market capitalisation of about $3.8 million. These are historical snapshots, not a live quote: the price and market value can change quickly, and reported trading volume was unavailable. A small market value does not tell you whether you can sell at a particular price. Check order-book depth, available trading pools and the likely price impact of your intended trade before committing funds.

## How can you store NFTX more safely?

Store NFTX in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, or use a reputable hardware wallet if that suits your needs. Write the recovery phrase offline and keep it private; anyone who gets it can control the wallet. Never share it with someone claiming they need it to verify, migrate or unlock your tokens. A wallet’s display name or balance is not proof that a token is genuine, so verify the contract address independently.

Be cautious when connecting your wallet to NFTX-related apps or other Ethereum services. Read each transaction and token approval, and avoid granting broad or unlimited access unless you understand the exposure. A compromised device, phishing site, mistaken transfer or malicious approval can result in permanent loss. A wallet protects access to your tokens; it does not insure them against price falls, thin liquidity or protocol problems.

## What could go wrong with NFTX or its vaults?

NFTX combines governance-token exposure with a protocol tied to NFT vault trading, so you face several risks at once. NFT markets can be thin: a vault token may trade at a discount or be hard to sell, and an NFT’s displayed or expected value may not match what buyers will pay. Vault rules also matter. Check which NFTs qualify, how deposits and withdrawals work, and what fees apply before interacting; do not assume every NFTX holder can redeem assets.

Smart-contract errors, exploits, governance decisions and changes to the project can affect the token or vaults. NFTX’s published supply and governance role do not establish that the token will keep its value or that a vault can meet every withdrawal demand. Consider whether you understand both the token and the specific vault before using either, and only expose funds you can afford to lose.

By the numbers

NFTX in numbers

NFTX (NFTX) is ranked #1,865 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $3.80M and a price of $5.85 as of Nov 4, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($3.80M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 7.9% over 7 days, down 41.2% over 30 days, down 76.8% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $499.09, set on Feb 16, 2021.

About 650K NFTX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 650K (100% issued).

NFTX has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

NFTX FAQs

What is the NFTX token used for?

NFTX is described as a governance token used to vote on proposals. It is separate from ERC-20 vault tokens associated with NFTs deposited into vaults.

What blockchain is NFTX on?

NFTX is issued on Ethereum, so you need an Ethereum-compatible wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens. Verify the token contract and network before transferring it.

What is the total supply of NFTX?

The reported circulating, total and maximum supply is 650,000 NFTX. Supply figures describe token amounts; they do not establish the token’s value or liquidity.

Can you redeem NFTX for an NFT?

No. NFTX is the governance token, while vault tokens are associated with NFTs held in vaults. Check the specific vault’s redemption terms rather than assuming NFTX itself can be exchanged for an NFT.

How do you store NFTX safely?

Use a wallet you control, protect its recovery phrase offline and verify the token contract before interacting. Watch for phishing attempts and review wallet approvals, since an unsafe approval can expose your assets.

What is the market cap of NFTX?

As of Nov 4, 2026, NFTX had a market cap of about $3.80M, ranking #1,865 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of NFTX?

NFTX's all-time high is $499.09, reached on Feb 16, 2021. Its all-time low is $3.95 (Jun 26, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of NFTX?

As of Nov 4, 2026, about 650K NFTX were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 650K.

Which blockchains is NFTX on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
