Owning BLZ: Uses, Storage and Risks

BLZ is the token associated with Bluzelle, a blockchain ecosystem that includes Bluzelle Chain and the Capella NFT marketplace. Bluzelle also describes a decentralized-science platform intended to support scientific work and sharing. BLZ has been described as a way to pay for platform services and compensate storage providers; it has also been associated with participation in the network. These are intended uses, not a guarantee that every service is currently available or that demand for BLZ will grow.

Before using BLZ for a service, check the current Bluzelle documentation and confirm that the specific service accepts the token on the network you hold. A token’s stated purpose does not make it a share in Bluzelle, promise income, or give you ownership of the platform. If you are considering BLZ as a holding, focus on whether you understand its uses, network requirements and price risk—not just the project’s goals.

BLZ is issued on Ethereum, Osmosis and BNB Chain. Tokens on different chains are not automatically interchangeable: a transfer or deposit must use a network supported by both your wallet and the receiving platform. Choosing the wrong network can leave funds inaccessible or make recovery difficult.

Before sending BLZ, check the token network shown in your wallet and the exact deposit network shown by the exchange or service. For a first transfer, consider sending a small test amount, then confirm it arrived before moving the rest. Keep enough of the network’s required gas token to pay for transactions; BLZ itself may not cover those costs.
