## What does APEX do in ApeX Protocol?
APEX is associated with ApeX Protocol, a decentralized exchange offering perpetuals and spot trading, along with tokenized stocks and prediction markets. That does not mean every ApeX product uses APEX: the token’s specific functions, such as any trading discounts, governance rights or staking benefits, are not established here. Check the current terms for the exact ApeX product before connecting a wallet or moving funds. In particular, don’t assume that holding APEX gives you a share of exchange revenue or a right to use every feature. The exchange describes itself as self-custodial, but using a decentralized exchange still involves smart-contract and transaction risks. If you only want to hold APEX, you do not need to trade on ApeX Protocol.
## Which wallets and networks can hold APEX?
APEX has been issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum; the project data does not identify it as a chain’s native token. To hold it yourself, use a wallet that supports the network where your APEX is held, and make sure you select that same network when receiving or sending tokens. Ethereum and Arbitrum are separate networks, so sending to an address on the wrong network can make recovery difficult or impossible. Before transferring a large amount, check the token’s official contract address for the specific network and consider a small test transfer. Keep your recovery phrase offline and never enter it into a website or share it with someone claiming to provide support. If you use a centralized exchange, check its supported network and withdrawal conditions before depositing.
## How much APEX is circulating, and what could change?
As of 2026-11-08, about 157.9 million APEX were circulating, against total supply of about 500 million and a stated maximum of 1 billion. Circulating supply was therefore roughly 16% of the maximum; the difference between circulating and maximum supply could matter if more tokens enter circulation. As of the same date, APEX traded at about $0.185, with a market capitalization of about $29.2 million and fully diluted valuation of about $92.3 million. These figures can change quickly and are not a forecast. The token’s recorded all-time high was $3.83 on 2024-03-27, and its all-time low was $0.110496 on 2023-10-19. Historical highs and lows do not indicate what the price will do next.
## What can go wrong when you hold or use APEX?
APEX can lose value sharply, and the gap between circulating supply and the stated maximum makes future supply worth monitoring. Trading activity and market liquidity can also change, making it harder to sell at a price you expect. If you use APEX with ApeX Protocol, you add smart-contract, wallet-connection and transaction risks; trading leveraged products adds the possibility of rapid losses. Self-custody puts responsibility for your recovery phrase and network selection on you. Confirm the token contract and network before interacting, and be wary of unsolicited messages, fake token listings and sites asking for your seed phrase. Don’t treat a token’s association with an exchange as a guarantee of platform access, safety or value. Only hold an amount you can afford to lose.

The price was down 11.6% over 7 days, down 19.0% over 30 days, down 79.0% over the past year. It trades about 95% below its all-time high of $3.83, set on Mar 27, 2024.
About 157.91M APEX are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (16% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $535K, or 1.8% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
APEX has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Arbitrum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

Which networks support APEX?
APEX has been issued on Ethereum and Arbitrum. Use a wallet that supports the network holding your tokens, and confirm the network and token contract before sending.
How many APEX tokens are there?
