PlunderSwap V3 Review: Should You Use It in 2026?

PlunderSwap V3 says it is shutting down, and there is no liquidity on Zilliqa. Don’t use it for new trades or deposits; existing liquidity providers should check their positions before the site goes offline on 26 November 2026.

By the SkyBitcoins review team · Updated

Quick take

Avoid PlunderSwap V3 for new trades or deposits: the project says there is no liquidity on Zilliqa and plans to take the site offline on 26 November 2026. Its main remaining use is checking for an existing liquidity position and arranging a withdrawal. Before interacting, heed the warnings about exploited ZRC2 tokens and assets bridged through X-Bridge; do not assume those tokens are backed or safe to trade.

Is it for you?

Who PlunderSwap V3 suits

Good for

  • Existing liquidity providers checking whether they still have a position to withdraw
  • Developers interested in the project’s open-source frontend

Not for

  • Anyone looking for a working DEX to make new swaps, since the site says Zilliqa has no liquidity
  • Liquidity providers seeking a low-risk pool, given the stated token exploits and lack of published audit listings
  • Anyone planning to bridge assets through X-Bridge, which PlunderSwap warns was hacked and no longer backs certain bridged tokens

Can you still swap or provide liquidity on PlunderSwap?

PlunderSwap V3 is a decentralized exchange for Zilliqa EVM. Its site lists Trade, Pool and Bridge functions, as well as a StealthEX cross-chain option. But the project says there is no longer any liquidity on Zilliqa and that it is shutting down, so those menu items should not be taken as evidence that swaps or pools are currently usable. The site is scheduled to go offline on 26 November 2026. PlunderSwap says anyone who still has a liquidity position should withdraw it before then. It also says developers can continue the DEX using its open-source frontend. That is a developer route, not a sign that users can expect functioning liquidity or support. If you are considering the site as a place to trade, the practical answer is no: use a currently operating exchange instead.

What would a PlunderSwap trade cost you?

PlunderSwap does not publish trading fees, pool fees, bridge charges or a current fee schedule. On a functioning DEX, a swap can involve a pool fee and network gas, while bridging can add separate charges; those costs are distinct from the price impact caused by limited liquidity. Here, the project says there is no Zilliqa liquidity, so a displayed trade route or quote should not be assumed to be executable or good value. Don’t send funds just to discover the final cost. If you are checking a liquidity position, review any transaction in your wallet before signing and verify the exact assets and amounts involved. The project’s shutdown warning makes this a question of safely resolving an existing position, not comparing ongoing trading costs. There is no native PlunderSwap token listed as an additional fee or reward asset.

Are PlunderSwap and its listed tokens safe to use?

There are substantial reasons for caution. PlunderSwap warns that a bug in the Zilliqa node let ZRC2-backed SEED, zUSDT, ZOGE and kUSD be spent without leaving the sender, and that the bug was used to drain pools holding those tokens. It also reports that X-Bridge was hacked for around $800,000 and says zUSDC, zUSDT, zWBTC and XCAD bridged through that bridge are no longer backed. The site advises against providing liquidity with the affected ZRC2 tokens and warns users to take care trading them; it says not to bridge through X-Bridge. No audits are listed for PlunderSwap. These warnings concern the underlying chain and bridge assets, not proof that every PlunderSwap contract was exploited, but they make those assets unsafe assumptions for users. Treat any remaining position as time-sensitive and verify its tokens before acting.

How should you check an existing position?

The site has a Connect Wallet option and lists Trade, Pool and Bridge pages, but it does not publish supported wallet names, mobile app details, transaction speeds, or a current working route for swaps. With no liquidity on Zilliqa, connecting a wallet is unlikely to help you trade and creates unnecessary exposure if you only want to explore. If you already have a position, use a wallet and chain interface you understand, confirm you are interacting with the intended Zilliqa contracts, and inspect the token addresses and transaction details before signing. Do not treat a token symbol as proof that an asset is backed: PlunderSwap specifically flags several bridged and ZRC2 tokens. The site says its frontend will go offline on 26 November 2026, so do not leave position management until the final days.

Who should choose something else?

PlunderSwap is a poor fit for new users: its stated lack of liquidity removes the basic reason to use a DEX, while the shutdown deadline and token warnings add risk. Fees, wallet support and an audit record are not published, so there is little basis for judging the experience or cost of a new transaction. Existing liquidity providers have a narrower task: determine whether they still hold a position, identify the assets in it, and consider withdrawing before the stated shutdown date. The site says its validator will continue running, but that does not mean the exchange or its pools will remain available. Developers may inspect the open-source frontend if they intend to maintain a DEX themselves; ordinary users should not treat that as a supported replacement service. Avoid X-Bridge and the assets PlunderSwap identifies as exploited or unbacked.

4 steps

How to start with PlunderSwap V3

  1. 1

Do not deposit, bridge, or start a new trade; PlunderSwap says there is no Zilliqa liquidity.

  2. 2

If you may have a liquidity position, connect only through a wallet and chain interface you trust and inspect the position and its token addresses.

  3. 3

Avoid the ZRC2-backed tokens and X-Bridge assets named in PlunderSwap’s warnings; do not assume they are safe or backed.

  4. 4

If you still hold a position, assess whether it can be withdrawn well before 26 November 2026, and review every transaction before signing.
