What does holding SPECTRA let you do?
SPECTRA is the governance token associated with Spectra V2, a protocol for yield derivatives and curated vaults. The protocol lets users create pools, trade yield and seek fixed rates; holding SPECTRA is not the same as depositing into a vault or owning a guaranteed share of its yield.
Locked SPECTRA is represented as veSPECTRA and gives holders voting power in Spectra DAO governance. If you are considering the token for governance, check the current locking terms and proposals before committing tokens. The project’s description also refers to earning, but the token alone does not guarantee rewards or a return.
Treat the token and the protocol’s yield products as separate decisions. Using vaults or yield derivatives can expose you to smart-contract, market and liquidity risks beyond the price risk of SPECTRA.
Which networks and wallets can hold SPECTRA?
SPECTRA is issued on Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum and Optimism; it is not listed as the native token of any of these networks. You need a wallet that supports the specific network you intend to use, and enough of that network’s native asset to pay transaction fees.
Before receiving or sending SPECTRA, confirm the network and token contract against Spectra’s official channels. A token with the same name or ticker on another network may not be the intended asset. Do not send tokens to an exchange or wallet deposit address unless it explicitly supports SPECTRA on that exact network.
If you use a hardware wallet, check that its companion software supports your chosen network and token. Keep your recovery phrase offline and never share it, even with someone claiming to offer support. A wrong-network transfer or exposed recovery phrase can result in a permanent loss.
How much SPECTRA is in circulation?
As of 2026-11-08, SPECTRA’s reported circulating supply is about 480.4 million, its total supply about 732.2 million, and its maximum supply about 876.8 million. These are different measures: circulating supply estimates what is available in the market, while total supply includes tokens that may not be circulating. The maximum is the stated upper limit.
For context, the reported price was about $0.0039, market capitalisation about $1.9 million and 24-hour trading volume about $54 on that date. Those figures can change quickly, and the low reported volume points to a risk that you may not be able to trade a large amount at a price close to the displayed one.
Check the current supply and market depth before making a decision. A market price or market-cap figure does not tell you whether you can sell promptly or whether the token suits your risk tolerance.
What can go wrong when you hold or use SPECTRA?
Keep SPECTRA in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, and protect that phrase offline. For meaningful holdings, a hardware wallet can reduce exposure to malware on a connected device, but it cannot prevent you from signing a malicious transaction or using the wrong network.
There are risks beyond ordinary token-price volatility. Spectra V2 offers yield derivatives and curated vaults, but fees are unclear and no audits are listed. Before depositing assets or approving a contract, check the current fee terms, the exact contract address, the vault’s strategy and the permissions requested. Start with an amount you can afford to lose, and avoid unlimited token approvals when a smaller allowance will do.
SPECTRA’s reported 24-hour trading volume was about $54 as of 2026-11-08, so liquidity may be limited. Thin markets can make trades difficult or increase price impact. Governance locks can also restrict access to tokens under their terms; understand the lock before participating.

Spectra (SPECTRA) is ranked #2,434 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.89M and a price of $0.003932 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $2.88M, so roughly 66% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 1.6% over 7 days, down 13.8% over 30 days, down 71.8% over the past year. It trades about 98% below its all-time high of $0.2365, set on Jan 5, 2025.
About 480.38M SPECTRA are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 876.75M (55% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $54, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
SPECTRA has token contracts on 4 chains we track, including Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
