What does holding reUSDe actually give you?
ReUSDe (REUSDE) is a yield-bearing token intended to give holders exposure to reinsurance-related returns through Re Protocol. The protocol describes using onchain capital allocation and smart contracts to connect funds with reinsurance contracts. That does not make REUSDE an insurance policy or give you the same rights as an insurer or policyholder. Your outcome depends on how the protocol structures its arrangements and how those arrangements perform.
Before you acquire it, check the current terms for how yield is generated, whether returns can be negative, and how you can redeem or transfer the token. ReUSDe is distinct from Re Protocol’s reUSD and RE tokens: the project describes reUSD and reUSDe as deposit tokens, while RE is used for protocol coordination. Don’t assume REUSDE is pegged to one US dollar just because of its name.
Which chain and wallet can you use for REUSDE?
REUSDE is issued on Ethereum. To hold it yourself, use an Ethereum wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens, and make sure you are selecting the correct asset and network when receiving or sending it. A wallet may not display a token automatically; adding it manually requires the correct contract address, which you should verify through Re Protocol’s official channels rather than copying an address from an unsolicited message.
Ethereum transactions require ETH to pay network fees. Those fees vary with network demand and are separate from any costs Re Protocol may charge. ReUSDE is not listed as a native token of another chain in the token information here, so don’t send it to a different network unless Re Protocol explicitly supports that route. A transfer to an incompatible address or chain may be difficult or impossible to recover.
How much REUSDE exists, and what can the price tell you?
As of 2026-11-08, REUSDE’s circulating and total supply were both about 20.47 million tokens; no maximum supply was listed. Its reported price was about $1.44, with a market capitalization of about $29.5 million. These figures can change, and a quoted market price does not guarantee that you can sell or redeem your tokens at that price, especially when trading volume is limited.
Treat REUSDE as a token with market and protocol risks, not as cash. Check the current market depth and the protocol’s redemption terms before relying on a displayed price. A low-volume market can make it harder to complete a large trade near the quoted price. The supply figures also do not tell you how much collateral is available or what the protocol may owe holders.
How can you store REUSDE without losing control of it?
For self-custody, keep your wallet’s recovery phrase offline and private. Anyone who gets it can usually control the assets in that wallet. A hardware wallet can keep signing keys away from an internet-connected device, but it cannot protect you if you approve a malicious transaction or enter your recovery phrase into a fake site. Check the network, recipient address, and transaction details before confirming.
If you hold REUSDE through an exchange or another custodian, that provider controls the keys and may set its own withdrawal rules. Confirm that withdrawals are enabled on Ethereum and understand the provider’s custody and account-recovery process. Be wary of unsolicited offers to “stake,” migrate, or unlock REUSDE. Never share your recovery phrase or sign a transaction you do not understand.
What could go wrong when you hold REUSDE?
REUSDE exposes you to several risks at once. Reinsurance outcomes can depend on claims, underwriting, and the structure of the contracts receiving capital; losses or delays may affect returns or the value you can recover. Smart-contract bugs, compromised keys, or problems with protocol operations can also put funds at risk. A token’s ability to trade does not guarantee that its underlying arrangements can be redeemed promptly.
Re Protocol does not publish a maximum supply in the token information, and specific redemption terms, fees, and a named audit and scope are not established there. Check the project’s current documentation for these details before committing funds. Also consider Ethereum transaction costs and the possibility that REUSDE’s market price moves away from any value you expect. Don’t invest money you cannot afford to lose.
By the numbers
Re Protocol reUSDe in numbers
Re Protocol reUSDe (REUSDE) is ranked #646 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $29.5M and a price of $1.44 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($29.5M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was up 0.3% over 7 days, up 0.5% over 30 days, up 17.0% over the past year. It trades about 12% below its all-time high of $1.64, set on Aug 23, 2025.
About 20.47M REUSDE are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.
24-hour trading volume was about $4.39K, or 0.0% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.
REUSDE has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

REUSDE FAQs
What network is REUSDE on?
REUSDE is issued on Ethereum. Use a wallet that supports Ethereum ERC-20 tokens, and verify the token contract address through Re Protocol’s official channels before adding or receiving it.
What is REUSDE used for?
Re Protocol describes reUSDe as a yield-bearing deposit token intended to give holders exposure to reinsurance-related returns. It is not itself an insurance policy, and returns are not guaranteed.
What is the supply of REUSDE?
As of 2026-11-08, circulating and total supply were both about 20.47 million REUSDE. No maximum supply was listed, and supply figures may change.
How do you store REUSDE safely?
You can store it in an Ethereum wallet that supports ERC-20 tokens or with a custodian that supports REUSDE withdrawals. In self-custody, protect your recovery phrase and check every transaction before signing.
Can REUSDE lose value?
Risks include reinsurance losses or delays, smart-contract or operational failures, limited liquidity, and uncertainty about redemption terms. A market price does not guarantee that you can redeem or sell at that value.
What is the market cap of Re Protocol reUSDe?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Re Protocol reUSDe had a market cap of about $29.5M, ranking #646 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
