What does holding TRADE actually give you?

TRADE is Polytrade’s network token. Polytrade operates finance products including Polytrade Finance, which uses AI to assess trade receivables and offers tokenised participation in financing deals. The project says TRADE-backed reserves are used in connection with Polytrade Finance, but holding TRADE alone should not be treated as a claim on a loan, a share of lending income or a right to redeem funds unless the product’s terms explicitly give you that right.

Polytrade also makes Ledgerless, accounting software for trading small and medium-sized businesses in the UAE, and is developing Edge, an agent for tokenised assets. These are Polytrade products, but their existence does not establish that TRADE is required to use them. Polytrade describes TRADE as its network token; specific holder rights and other token functions are not established. If you are considering the token for a particular benefit, check the current terms before relying on it.

Which networks and wallets can hold TRADE?

TRADE is issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base and Polygon. It is not the native token of any of these networks, so you need a wallet that supports the particular network and token standard used for your TRADE. A wallet showing TRADE on one network may not automatically show a balance held on another.

Before receiving or sending tokens, confirm the network and token contract address using Polytrade’s official channels. Do not assume that a token with the same name and symbol is genuine, or that an exchange deposit address supports every TRADE network. Sending to an incompatible network or address can make funds difficult or impossible to recover. Polytrade Finance participations settle on Polygon, Base and Robinhood Chain; that does not mean TRADE is issued on Robinhood Chain. Check the product and wallet instructions separately, and do not transfer TRADE to a finance product unless its current instructions specifically request it.

How many TRADE tokens exist, and how liquid are they?

TRADE has a fixed maximum supply of 100 million tokens. Polytrade reports 100 million as both the total and circulating supply, meaning the full stated supply is in circulation. That does not tell you how widely tokens are held or how much may be available to trade at any moment.

As of 2026-11-08, TRADE’s reported price was about $0.0167, with a market capitalisation of about $1.7 million. These figures can change quickly and are not a measure of what you could sell your tokens for: trading depth and the price available on your chosen venue also matter. A small market value or trading volume can mean that a sale moves the price or takes time to complete. Treat supply and price figures as a snapshot, not a promise of future value or liquidity.

How can you store TRADE, and what could go wrong?

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the network where your TRADE is held. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone with it can control your funds. Consider a hardware wallet if you are holding a significant amount, and test any unfamiliar transfer with a small amount first. If you use an exchange, check its custody, withdrawal and network-support arrangements.

TRADE carries price and liquidity risk, as well as the usual risks of wallet mistakes, phishing and counterfeit tokens. Its presence across several networks adds another chance to select the wrong chain or contract. Polytrade Finance also involves separate lending and product risks: AI underwriting and tokenised participation do not remove the possibility of late payment, borrower default, technical failure or uncertain recovery rights. Before depositing into a financing product, read its current terms for fees, default handling, tranche priority, withdrawal conditions and legal protections. Do not assume that holding TRADE protects a deposit or guarantees repayment.

What should you check before using Polytrade Finance?

Polytrade Finance assesses trade receivables using AI and publishes its assessment. Participations are tokenised under the ERC-6960 standard and offered in senior and junior tranches, with capacity limits for each supported chain. These features describe the finance product, not a guarantee that a particular receivable will be paid or that a token holder can exit whenever they choose.

Before committing funds, check which receivable you are financing, what evidence supports it, how the senior and junior tranches differ, and what happens if a buyer pays late or defaults. Confirm the applicable chain, capacity, fees, minimums, withdrawal rules and legal claim attached to the participation. Those terms can affect your ability to recover funds and may differ from the risks of simply holding TRADE in a wallet. If you cannot find clear answers in the current product documents, do not assume the missing protections are provided.

What is Polytrade (TRADE) used for?

Polytrade identifies TRADE as its network token and says it is used in connection with TRADE-backed reserves for Polytrade Finance. Holding TRADE does not by itself establish a right to lending returns or repayment; check the current product and token terms.

Which blockchain networks support TRADE?

TRADE is issued on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Base and Polygon. Confirm the exact network and contract address before depositing or transferring it, since a wallet or exchange may not support every network.
