What does holding LINON actually give you?

LINON is Ondo’s tokenized version of Linde plc stock. It is designed to give you economic exposure similar to holding Linde shares, including reinvestment of any dividends. That does not necessarily make you a direct shareholder: check Ondo’s current product terms for the rights attached to LINON, including voting rights, dividend handling and redemption conditions.

Ondo describes its tokenized stocks as available for eligible non-US retail and institutional users, with minting and redemption offered 24 hours a day, five days a week. Geographic, eligibility and other restrictions apply, so access is not guaranteed wherever you live. The token’s price can reflect Linde’s share price but may also differ because of trading demand, market hours, fees or redemption limits.

LINON is not a Linde-issued cryptocurrency or a general-purpose payment coin. If you hold it, you are taking both Linde-related market exposure and risks tied to the tokenization and redemption arrangement.

Which networks and wallets can hold LINON?

LINON has been issued on Ethereum and Solana; it is not the native token of either network. To hold or transfer it, you need a wallet that supports the correct network and the specific LINON token. A wallet that supports Ethereum assets may not automatically support Solana assets, and sending tokens across the wrong network can result in loss.

Before depositing LINON at an exchange or moving it to a wallet, confirm the network and token identity from a trusted source. Do not rely on a matching name or ticker alone: counterfeit tokens can copy both. For a self-custody transfer, send a small test amount first when practical, and keep enough of the network’s native asset for transaction fees—typically ETH on Ethereum or SOL on Solana.

If you use a custodial platform, check whether it supports LINON deposits and withdrawals on the network you intend to use. A platform listing the token for trading does not necessarily support on-chain withdrawals.

How many LINON tokens exist, and how liquid are they?

As of November 7, 2026, LINON’s reported circulating and total supply were both about 3,249 tokens. No maximum supply is published, so you should not assume that the supply is capped. Token supply may change through issuance or redemption under the product’s rules.

On that date, LINON was priced at about $521.59, with a market capitalization near $1.7 million and reported 24-hour trading volume of about $224. These figures move over time, and the low reported volume is a reason to check actual order-book depth before trading. A quoted price does not guarantee that you can sell a large amount at that price.

The token’s value is intended to reflect Linde-related exposure, but its market price can diverge from the underlying share value. Consider trading hours, liquidity, conversion terms and any applicable costs when comparing LINON with the listed stock. Do not treat a historical price or supply figure as a forecast.

How should you store LINON safely?

If you keep LINON in self-custody, protect the wallet’s recovery phrase offline and never share it. Use a hardware wallet if appropriate for your needs, verify the address and network before signing, and treat unexpected wallet prompts or messages about “unlocking” tokens as potential scams. A blockchain transfer is generally difficult or impossible to reverse.

A wallet protects your keys; it does not remove the product’s issuer, custody or redemption risks. LINON depends on Ondo’s arrangements for the tokenized exposure and on the process for minting, redeeming and handling the underlying economic rights. Review the current terms for who holds the underlying assets, what happens during disruptions, and whether redemption is available to you.

If you leave LINON with a trading platform, you also take platform and account-access risk. Enable strong account security and check withdrawal rules before depositing. Keep records of purchases, transfers and any dividend-related treatment for tax reporting.

What could go wrong when you hold LINON?

LINON combines several risks: Linde’s share price can fall, the token may trade at a premium or discount to its intended exposure, and low liquidity can make selling difficult or costly. There is also issuer and operational risk: the token relies on Ondo’s product structure, custody arrangements and ability to process redemptions. A blockchain or smart-contract issue could disrupt transfers even if the underlying stock market is operating normally.

Access is another practical risk. Ondo says additional restrictions apply to its tokenized stocks, and your eligibility may depend on where you live and other conditions. Confirm the current rules and redemption process before acquiring LINON; do not assume a token can always be redeemed immediately or that a secondary-market buyer will be available.

LINON is not the same as holding Linde shares through a brokerage account. Compare the rights, costs, liquidity and protections of each route, and only commit an amount you can afford to lose.
