What does holding Kelp Gain (AGETH) do?

Kelp Gain (AGETH) is a receipt token for KelpDAO’s Gain product. You deposit ETH or supported variants—including rsETH, ETHx and stETH—and receive agETH. Gain is designed to manage those assets across Layer 2 networks and DeFi protocols to pursue rewards and airdrop opportunities. Holding AGETH therefore represents participation in a strategy, not simply holding ordinary ETH in a wallet.

The product is aimed at people who want exposure to reward strategies without choosing and managing each opportunity themselves. AGETH may also be used in DeFi applications, but whether a particular market accepts it—and what liquidity or terms apply—can change. Don’t assume you can redeem it one-for-one for ETH at any time: check the current withdrawal and redemption rules before depositing or relying on AGETH as a cash substitute. Rewards are not guaranteed, and the token’s market price can move independently of the value of its underlying assets.

Which wallet and network do you need for AGETH?

AGETH is issued on Ethereum, so you need an Ethereum-compatible wallet or account that supports the token. AGETH is not listed as a native token of a separate chain. If you plan to use it in another network’s DeFi market, check whether that market supports the exact token and network you hold; a token with the same name on another chain may not be the same asset.

Before sending or adding AGETH to a wallet, verify its contract address through Kelp Gain’s official channels. A token name and ticker alone are not enough to identify a genuine asset. If you deposit through an exchange, confirm that it supports AGETH deposits and withdrawals on Ethereum, and review its network and withdrawal requirements. Sending tokens to an unsupported network or address can make them difficult or impossible to recover. Wallet compatibility also does not mean an app can redeem the token or provide a liquid market for it.

How much AGETH exists, and what is it worth?

AGETH’s reported market value was about $2,511 per token on 2026-11-04, with a reported market capitalization of about $14.0 million. These are time-sensitive estimates, not a redemption promise or a measure of what you would receive in a sale. The 24-hour trading-volume figure was unavailable, so you may not be able to infer how easily a large holding could be sold from the market-cap figure alone. Check current market depth and trading activity before making a transaction.

Reported supply figures need caution: the circulating supply is about 5,574 AGETH, while the reported total supply is about 5,569. Those figures do not reconcile, and no maximum supply is listed. Treat them as an imperfect snapshot rather than a precise token accounting. Price, market capitalization, supply and liquidity can change; none of these figures predicts future performance. Avoid relying on an old price quote when deciding what a transaction would cost.

How can you store AGETH more safely?

If you hold AGETH in self-custody, use a wallet whose recovery phrase you can protect and keep that phrase offline. Never share it with someone claiming they need it to verify, migrate or restore your tokens. Check the destination address and Ethereum network before confirming a transfer, and consider a small test transaction when sending a significant amount. For a hardware wallet, confirm the address on the device itself.

Only connect your wallet to DeFi apps you intended to use. Review the permissions a transaction requests, particularly approvals that let an application move tokens. Revoke approvals you no longer need using a tool you trust, while taking care not to sign transactions you do not understand. A wallet can secure your keys, but it cannot guarantee that AGETH retains its value, that a market will have buyers, or that a redemption will be available. If you use a custodian, account access and withdrawal availability also depend on that provider.

What could go wrong when you hold or deposit AGETH?

AGETH combines several risks. Gain’s automated strategies rely on smart contracts and the protocols they interact with; a bug, exploit or failure in one of those systems could cause losses. The value and availability of rewards or airdrops can change, and there is no guarantee that strategy returns will cover losses or fees. Restaking and DeFi activity can add risks tied to underlying assets and protocol rules.

You also face market and liquidity risk: AGETH can trade below the value you expect, and thin trading can make selling harder or more costly. Before depositing, find out how withdrawals work, whether they can be delayed, what costs apply, and which assets and protocols Gain may use. Kelp Gain does not publish an audit in the project details described here; look for current security disclosures before relying on the product. Deposit only what you can afford to lose, and do not treat projected rewards as guaranteed income.

By the numbers

Kelp Gain in numbers

Kelp Gain (AGETH) is ranked #1,022 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $14.0M and a price of $2,511 as of Nov 4, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($14.0M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was down 1.3% over 7 days, down 14.0% over 30 days, down 23.1% over the past year. It trades about 63% below its all-time high of $6,715, set on Apr 19, 2026.

About 5.57K AGETH are in circulation. No hard maximum supply is listed, so new tokens can still be issued.

AGETH has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

CoinGecko groups AGETH under DeFi tokens.

AGETH FAQs

What is AGETH used for?

Kelp Gain is designed to manage deposited ETH and supported variants across Layer 2 networks and DeFi protocols in pursuit of rewards and airdrop opportunities. Depositors receive AGETH. Rewards are not guaranteed, and the token is not the same as holding ETH directly.

Which network is AGETH on?

AGETH is issued on Ethereum, so use an Ethereum-compatible wallet or a service that explicitly supports AGETH on Ethereum. Verify the token contract through Kelp Gain’s official channels before adding or sending it; a matching name or ticker alone does not prove a token is genuine.

Can you deposit ETH or stETH to get AGETH?

Kelp Gain’s product description says users can deposit ETH, rsETH, ETHx and stETH to receive AGETH. Check the current product rules before depositing, since supported assets, withdrawal terms and strategy arrangements can change.

What is AGETH’s circulating supply?

Reported supply figures are about 5,574 circulating and 5,569 total AGETH, which do not reconcile. No maximum supply is listed, so treat these figures cautiously rather than as a definitive supply count.

Can AGETH lose value?

There is no guaranteed return. DeFi and restaking strategies can be affected by smart-contract exploits, protocol failures, changing rewards, liquidity constraints and market-price movements. Review withdrawal terms and security disclosures, and only deposit funds you can afford to lose.

What is the market cap of Kelp Gain?

As of Nov 4, 2026, Kelp Gain had a market cap of about $14.0M, ranking #1,022 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of AGETH?

Kelp Gain's all-time high is $6,715, reached on Apr 19, 2026. Its all-time low is $495.13 (Apr 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of AGETH?

As of Nov 4, 2026, about 5.57K AGETH were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.

Which blockchains is AGETH on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
