What is KABOSU meant to do?
KABOSU is a meme token associated with Kabosu, the Shiba Inu whose image became the face of Doge. Its stated aim is to help prevent dogs from being abandoned, with plans for weekly donations to dog charities chosen by the community.
That charitable goal is not the same as a token feature: KABOSU is not described as giving holders a claim on donations, voting rights, or a way to redeem tokens for goods or services. Before treating donations as a reason to hold it, check whether the project publishes verifiable records showing which charities received funds and when. The token’s association with Kabosu and Doge may explain its theme, but does not establish a financial link to either.
Which chain and wallet do you need?
KABOSU is issued on BNB Chain, rather than being the native coin of its own blockchain. To hold or send it, you need a wallet that supports BNB Chain tokens. A self-custody wallet gives you control of the keys; a trading platform may hold the tokens for you instead, subject to that platform’s rules.
Token names and tickers are not unique. Search results include other assets called Kabosu, including tokens associated with different chains, so do not choose a token by name or logo alone. Before buying or receiving KABOSU, verify that the network and contract address match the project’s official channels. Check the address again before sending: a transfer to a different token contract or an incompatible network may be difficult or impossible to recover. You may also need BNB in your wallet to pay BNB Chain transaction fees.
How much KABOSU exists, and how liquid is it?
The reported circulating and total supply is 1 quadrillion KABOSU. No maximum supply is specified. As of 2026-11-08, the market capitalization was about $3 million, while 24-hour trading volume was about $13. That very low reported volume can make it harder to trade at a price close to the last quoted price, especially for a larger order.
A tiny price per token does not mean a token is cheap in any useful investment sense. Supply, demand, liquidity and the amount you can actually sell all matter. Market capitalization and supply figures can change, and displayed figures may differ between services. Treat them as snapshots, not guarantees of what you could receive in a sale. There is no basis here to assume that the supply will be reduced or that demand will increase.
How can you store KABOSU more safely?
If you hold KABOSU in a self-custody wallet, protect the wallet’s recovery phrase as carefully as cash or account credentials. Keep it private and offline, and never enter it into a website or share it with someone claiming to provide support. Anyone who gets the phrase can take the tokens; a lost phrase may leave you unable to recover them.
Use a wallet that supports BNB Chain and confirm the network before sending tokens. For a hardware wallet, check that it supports the chain and token standard you need. Be cautious with unfamiliar sites asking you to connect your wallet or approve a transaction: an approval can give a contract permission to move tokens. Review the contract and transaction details, and revoke permissions you no longer need using a trusted wallet tool. For larger holdings, consider whether keeping keys in one place creates too much risk.
What could go wrong when you hold KABOSU?
KABOSU carries the risks common to small, thinly traded meme tokens. The reported 24-hour volume was about $13 as of 2026-11-08, so you may find few buyers or sellers, wide price differences, or difficulty completing a trade. A quoted market price does not guarantee that you can sell at that price.
The token’s value can fall sharply, including to a level where trading is impractical. A project’s charitable aim does not protect holders from market losses, and the stated donation plan should not be treated as a guaranteed payment or return. There is also contract risk: a wrong or counterfeit token can use the same name, and transactions on a public blockchain are generally irreversible. Verify the token contract, be wary of unsolicited offers and promises of guaranteed gains, and only risk funds you can afford to lose.
