What does holding FXN actually give you?

FXN is the token associated with f(x) Protocol, an Ethereum-based system for borrowing a stablecoin and taking leveraged ETH or BTC positions. The protocol’s core stablecoin is fxUSD, backed by stETH and wBTC collateral. Users can borrow fxUSD against those assets or use it to open leveraged positions, with exposure of up to 7x. These are protocol functions; they do not establish that holding FXN gives you a share of fxUSD collateral or its yield.

The protocol describes yield from staking rewards on stETH collateral and fees paid by borrowers and leveraged traders. That yield goes to a Stability Pool for people depositing fxUSD or USDC. It is not described as an FXN holder reward, and the protocol says it is not funded by FXN emissions. The specific rights or uses attached to FXN—such as governance or fee sharing—are not established by the facts here. Check the token’s current contract and official documentation before assuming FXN lets you vote, earn income, or influence protocol settings.

Which wallet and network should you use for FXN?

FXN is issued on Ethereum; it is not identified as the native token of a separate chain. You’ll need an Ethereum-compatible wallet that supports custom ERC-20 tokens to hold it. Before sending FXN, confirm the token contract address through an official f(x) Protocol channel and check that your wallet is set to Ethereum. A token with the same ticker on another network may not be the same asset.

For self-custody, keep your wallet’s recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to provide support. Check the destination address and network before every transfer, and consider a small test transaction if you are unfamiliar with the wallet or exchange withdrawal process. FXN’s network fee is paid in ETH, so you’ll need some ETH for Ethereum transactions. No FXN bridge or supported non-Ethereum network is identified here; don’t assume a wrapped or bridged version is interchangeable with the Ethereum token.

How much FXN is in circulation?

As of November 8, 2026, reported FXN supply was about 164,149 circulating, 1.24 million total, and a maximum of 2 million tokens. These figures are a snapshot, not a promise that the circulating amount will stay fixed. The gap between circulating and total supply means you should check how and when additional tokens may enter circulation before judging dilution risk; the exact release schedule is not established here.

The same dated snapshot put FXN at about $19.24, with a market capitalization near $3.2 million and fully diluted valuation around $23.8 million. These are moving market figures, not a reliable guide to what you could sell for. A small market capitalization and trading volume can make it harder to trade a large amount at a quoted price. Don’t treat the token’s past price extremes or recent percentage moves as a forecast, and never rely on a displayed price without checking current liquidity and execution costs.

How can you store FXN, and what could go wrong?

Store FXN in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, or use a reputable custodian if you prefer not to manage keys yourself. For a wallet transfer, verify the Ethereum network and token contract, protect your recovery phrase from websites and messages, and consider a hardware wallet for long-term holdings. If you use a trading platform, check its withdrawal network and custody terms before depositing.

FXN carries token-specific market risk: its price and liquidity can change sharply, and future supply entering circulation could affect holders. The protocol also involves smart-contract risk. If you use f(x) products, borrowing or leveraged trading adds liquidation risk: collateral prices can move against you, and positions may be closed if they fall below required levels. stETH can trade away from ETH’s value, while wBTC adds its own market and custody-related risks. fxUSD is a separate protocol product, not a guarantee of FXN’s value. Don’t deposit collateral or trade leverage unless you understand the potential losses and liquidation conditions.

By the numbers

f(x) Protocol in numbers

f(x) Protocol (FXN) is ranked #2,000 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $3.16M and a price of $19.24 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $23.8M, so roughly 13% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was up 8.6% over 7 days, down 30.3% over 30 days, down 61.1% over the past year. It trades about 91% below its all-time high of $219.95, set on Mar 13, 2024.

About 164.15K FXN are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 2M (8% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $19.4K, or 0.6% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

FXN has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

FXN FAQs

What is FXN used for?

FXN is the token associated with f(x) Protocol. The specific holder rights or benefits attached to FXN are not established here, so don’t assume it grants governance, income or a claim on protocol assets.

What network is FXN on?

FXN is issued on Ethereum, so use an Ethereum-compatible wallet and verify the token contract before receiving or sending it. You’ll also need ETH to pay Ethereum network fees.

How many FXN tokens are there?

As of November 8, 2026, reported circulating supply was about 164,149 FXN, total supply about 1.24 million, and maximum supply 2 million. Supply figures can change, so check current figures and any token release schedule.

Does holding FXN earn yield?

The protocol’s fxUSD and Stability Pool are separate from FXN. Yield described for Stability Pool deposits goes to people depositing fxUSD or USDC; it is not identified as an FXN holder reward.

Is FXN a stablecoin?

No. FXN’s market price can move independently, and holding FXN does not make it equivalent to fxUSD. The protocol’s borrowing and leverage products also have collateral and liquidation risks.

What are the main risks of holding FXN?

The main risks include token price and liquidity swings, potential changes in circulating supply, and smart-contract risk. Using the protocol’s leveraged positions adds the risk of liquidation if collateral values move against you.

What is the market cap of f(x) Protocol?

As of Nov 8, 2026, f(x) Protocol had a market cap of about $3.16M, ranking #2,000 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of FXN?

f(x) Protocol's all-time high is $219.95, reached on Mar 13, 2024. Its all-time low is $9.82 (Jul 31, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of FXN?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 164.15K FXN were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 2M.

Which blockchains is FXN on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum.
