## What can you do with CTSI?
CTSI is Cartesi’s token, linked to a project that gives developers an environment for building app-specific rollups and decentralized applications using Linux-based software tools. Cartesi’s technology includes Cartesi Rollups, a RISC-V-based virtual machine called the Cartesi Machine, and systems for exploring rollup activity and interacting with governance.
For you as a holder, the clearest stated token uses are staking and interacting with Cartesi’s governance system through Cartesi Explorer. That does not tell you what voting weight each token gives, whether staking earns rewards, or whether tokens are locked. Check the current terms before staking, and do not treat a possible reward as guaranteed income. The project’s broader goal of helping developers build applications does not mean every Cartesi app requires CTSI or that token demand will necessarily rise with app use.
## Which networks and wallets support CTSI?
CTSI has been issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum and BNB Chain. It is not identified as the native token of any of these chains. A token listed on several networks may have different deposit and withdrawal options depending on the exchange or wallet you use, so check the network shown at both ends before sending.
Use a wallet that supports the specific network and CTSI token you hold. If you are adding CTSI manually, verify the token contract through Cartesi’s official channels; a matching ticker or logo alone is not proof that a token is genuine. Sending tokens to an address on the wrong network can make them difficult or impossible to recover. If you move CTSI between networks, confirm that the service supports the exact source and destination networks, and check its fees and processing rules before approving the transaction.
## How many CTSI tokens can exist?
CTSI has a maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. About 956 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08, leaving roughly 44 million of the maximum supply outside circulation at that point. Circulating supply can change, so check a current token tracker or exchange before relying on a figure for a transaction.
The token’s maximum supply is not a price forecast. CTSI’s value can move with market conditions, demand for the token, and expectations about Cartesi’s development and use. If you are deciding whether to hold it, consider how much volatility you can tolerate and whether you understand the token’s role. Avoid making a decision based only on the supply cap or a past price. No fixed return follows from holding CTSI, and staking conditions should be checked separately.
## How should you store CTSI, and what can go wrong?
If you keep CTSI in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it with a person, website or support account. A hardware wallet can reduce exposure to online attacks, but it cannot protect you from approving a malicious transaction or sending tokens on the wrong network. For exchange custody, check the exchange’s security practices and withdrawal options; you rely on that company to safeguard your assets.
CTSI carries ordinary crypto risks as well as project-specific ones. Its market price can fall sharply, and demand may not match expectations for Cartesi’s rollups or developer tools. Rollup software, bridges and smart contracts can also have technical vulnerabilities. Before staking, check the current lock-up, withdrawal and reward terms; staking does not remove price or protocol risk. Be wary of unsolicited messages, fake token contracts and promises of guaranteed returns.

Cartesi (CTSI) is ranked #738 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $23.5M and a price of $0.0246 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($24.6M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.
The price was down 9.7% over 7 days, down 29.4% over 30 days, down 50.4% over the past year. It trades about 99% below its all-time high of $1.74, set on May 8, 2021.
About 956M CTSI are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 1B (96% issued).
24-hour trading volume was about $958K, or 4.1% of its market cap: moderate turnover.
CTSI has token contracts on 6 chains we track, including Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.
CoinGecko groups CTSI under Layer 2 tokens, Infrastructure tokens.

CTSI FAQs
Can you stake CTSI?
Cartesi Explorer lets CTSI users interact with Cartesi’s governance system and stake tokens. Check the current staking terms before committing funds, including any lock-up and withdrawal rules.
Which networks is CTSI available on?
CTSI has been issued on Ethereum, Base, Polygon, Optimism, Arbitrum and BNB Chain. Confirm that your wallet or exchange supports CTSI on the exact network you plan to use.
What is the maximum supply of CTSI?
Cartesi’s stated maximum supply is 1 billion CTSI. About 956 million were circulating as of 2026-11-08; circulating supply may change over time.
How do you store CTSI safely?
