Owning BMC: Uses, Storage and Risks

BMC is intended for use on BountyMarketCap’s bounty-stakes price-tracking website. The project says you can use the token to buy discounted ad placements and receive a share of revenue. That gives BMC a stated platform-related use, but it does not by itself tell you whether you will receive revenue or how valuable that right may be.

Before relying on either benefit, check the current terms for ad discounts and revenue sharing. BountyMarketCap does not specify the revenue-share formula, payout schedule or eligibility conditions in its token description. You should also confirm whether these benefits are available to every holder or require a minimum balance or other steps. Treat the token as a crypto asset with uncertain utility unless those details are clear and verifiable.

BMC is issued on Ethereum; it is not listed as the native token of a separate blockchain. To hold it, use an Ethereum-compatible wallet that lets you manage custom tokens. MetaMask is one example of a wallet with Ethereum support, but check the token’s official contract address before adding or sending anything.
