What does holding FIDA give you?
Bonfida is known for building infrastructure for Solana, including a Serum Core engine, an Asset Agnostic Orderbook and the Audaces perpetual-swap product. Those products describe Bonfida’s ecosystem work; they do not, by themselves, establish what holding FIDA currently lets you do. Bonfida’s project description does not specify current token-holder rights, a fee discount, or a governance role, so don’t assume FIDA grants any of these without checking the project’s current token documentation.
FIDA is therefore best approached as a Solana ecosystem token whose practical value may depend on continued project use and demand, rather than as a claim on Bonfida’s business or a guaranteed share of protocol revenue. If you are considering holding it, confirm what functions are currently supported and whether they apply to your wallet and region. The token’s market price can move independently of the usefulness of Bonfida’s tools.
Which chain and wallet can hold FIDA?
FIDA is issued on Solana. The token facts identify Solana as its issuance chain and list no other chains, so treat a balance on another network as a separate wrapped or bridged asset unless you have verified otherwise. A Solana wallet that supports SPL tokens can generally hold Solana-issued tokens, but wallet support and access to token features can differ.
Before receiving FIDA, check that the wallet is set to Solana and verify the token’s mint address through a trusted Bonfida channel. A token name or ticker alone is not proof of authenticity; unrelated tokens can use the same label. Keep enough SOL in the wallet to cover Solana transaction fees, which are normally paid in SOL. If you use an exchange instead of a self-custody wallet, check that it supports FIDA deposits and withdrawals on Solana, and confirm the network shown on the deposit screen before sending. A transfer to an incompatible network or incorrect address may be difficult or impossible to recover.
How much FIDA exists, and what does its supply mean?
FIDA has a stated maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, about 990.9 million were reported as both circulating and total supply, leaving roughly 9.1 million below the stated maximum. That gap does not tell you when, how or whether the remaining amount will enter circulation; check current token disclosures rather than assuming a release schedule.
Market figures can change quickly. As of 2026-11-08, FIDA’s reported market capitalization was about $15.2 million, and its fully diluted valuation was also about $15.2 million. These are snapshots, not a measure of guaranteed value or future demand. The token’s reported price was about $0.015 on that date, but a low unit price does not mean a token is cheap relative to its supply or risk. Compare the circulating supply, maximum supply and actual token uses before relying on any valuation metric.
How can you store FIDA, and what could go wrong?
For self-custody, use a Solana wallet that supports SPL tokens and protect its recovery phrase offline. Never share the phrase or enter it into a site or message claiming to help you claim, validate or unlock FIDA. A hardware wallet can reduce exposure to malware that steals keys, but it cannot protect you if you approve a malicious transaction or send tokens to the wrong address. Test a new destination with a small transfer when appropriate, and check the network and recipient carefully.
FIDA carries ordinary crypto risks: its price can fall sharply, trading liquidity can change, and a token’s availability or utility can depend on project and exchange support. Solana network or wallet problems can also interrupt transfers. Be particularly cautious of fake token listings and impersonation scams. The stated maximum supply does not prevent losses, and it does not guarantee demand. Before holding FIDA, consider whether you can tolerate losing the amount you put at risk and keep only the keys you can securely manage.
