What can you use APTM for?

APTM is Apertum’s token for use on its Avalanche-based Layer 1 network. The project describes it as a token for network transactions and DAO governance, so holding APTM may matter if you use the chain or want to take part in its governance. Apertum also says transaction fees are partly burned.

That does not make APTM a share in a company or a claim on network revenue. The token’s practical value to you depends on whether you need it for transactions or governance, and whether the network’s applications and users remain active. Check the current governance process before assuming that simply holding APTM gives you voting power; the rules for participation matter.

Which network and wallet should you use?

Apertum is described as an Avalanche Subnet with an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible architecture. That means it is designed to support Ethereum-style applications and transactions, but you still need to select the Apertum network when using a wallet. An Ethereum-compatible wallet may work if you add the correct network settings and APTM token details; compatibility alone does not configure it for you.

Before sending APTM, confirm the network, token contract and deposit address with the service or wallet you intend to use. The wrong network or token details can leave funds inaccessible. Don’t assume an exchange that lists APTM supports deposits or withdrawals on Apertum itself—check the specific network options shown by that exchange. Apertum’s confirmed chain ID, RPC settings and token contract address are not stated here, so verify them through Apertum’s official channels before setting up a wallet.

How many APTM tokens are there?

Apertum has a stated maximum supply of 2.1 billion APTM. As of 2026-11-08, the circulating supply was about 211.1 million and total supply about 216.3 million. These are different measures: circulating supply is the amount counted as available in the market, while total supply includes tokens outside that circulating figure. Supply figures can change, so check an up-to-date figure before relying on them.

Apertum describes its issuance as periodic mining with halvings and says part of transaction fees is burned. A burn can reduce the number of tokens in supply, but it does not guarantee that APTM will become more valuable; demand and trading conditions also matter. On 2026-11-08, APTM’s market capitalization was about $10.4 million. Market capitalization and supply figures are snapshots, not measures of what you could sell your tokens for.

How can you store APTM, and what can go wrong?

If you hold APTM in a self-custody wallet, protect the recovery phrase offline and never share it. A wallet provider or support agent should not need your phrase. Check every address and network before approving a transaction; crypto transfers are generally difficult or impossible to reverse. For larger balances, consider a hardware wallet that supports the correct EVM network and test with a small transfer first.

APTM also carries network, application and market risks. EVM compatibility does not prove that a contract or bridge is safe, and activity or liquidity can change. The token was about $0.049 as of 2026-11-08, down about 91.6% over the prior year; past prices do not predict future performance. Its recorded high was $2.08 on 2025-04-04 and its low was about $0.0348 on 2026-10-08. You could lose some or all of what you put in.
