What does holding AMDX give you?

AMDX is a tokenized asset intended to give you economic exposure to Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) stock. It is part of the xStocks range, which describes its tokens as backed 1:1 by underlying assets and as providing a legal claim to the stock’s value. That is not the same as assuming you hold AMD shares directly: shareholder rights, redemption conditions and other legal details depend on the token’s terms.

You can use AMDX to hold or trade that exposure through supported centralized or decentralized platforms. xStocks also describes its tokens as compatible with DeFi protocols, but a protocol may not support AMDX just because it supports tokens generally. Check the token and platform details before connecting a wallet or depositing funds.

AMDX does not represent a blockchain network’s native currency. Its value can move with AMD stock, while trading conditions for the token may differ from those in the stock market.

Which networks and wallets can hold AMDX?

AMDX is issued on Ethereum and Solana. To hold it yourself, you need a wallet that supports the relevant network and the correct AMDX token. Ethereum and Solana use different address systems, so check the network selected for both your wallet and any exchange withdrawal. Sending a token to an incompatible network or address can make it difficult or impossible to recover.

Before transferring AMDX, confirm the token’s contract or mint address using a trustworthy source connected to the issuer or your platform. Do not rely on a token name or ticker alone; unrelated tokens can use the same label. If you use a centralized exchange, check whether it supports deposits and withdrawals on the specific network you intend to use.

AMDX may be usable in DeFi where a protocol supports it, but that adds smart-contract and platform risks. Test with a small transfer first if you are unfamiliar with the wallet or network.

How much AMDX exists, and how liquid is it?

AMDX has no published maximum supply. The reported circulating supply is about 13,149 tokens, while total supply is about 371,345. These are separate measures: circulating supply estimates tokens in circulation, while total supply includes a broader set. The figures do not explain why the two amounts differ or how supply may change.

As of 2026-11-08, AMDX traded at about $446.14, with a market capitalization of about $5.9 million and 24-hour trading volume of about $3,397. These are snapshots, not fixed values. A low trading volume can make it harder to trade at a price close to the displayed quote, especially for a larger order. Market capitalization and supply figures can also change as the token’s price or supply changes.

Use current figures from the platform where you plan to trade, and consider whether its quoted price and available liquidity suit the amount you intend to transact. These figures are not a forecast.

What can go wrong when you store or use AMDX?

If you keep AMDX in a self-custody wallet, secure the recovery phrase offline and never share it. Use a device and wallet you trust, check network and token details before signing, and review what permissions a DeFi app requests. A token balance can be lost through a stolen recovery phrase, a mistaken transfer, a malicious approval or a compromised wallet.

AMDX also carries risks beyond ordinary wallet security. Its value may not track AMD shares perfectly, and thin trading can widen the gap between buy and sell prices. Smart-contract, blockchain, custodian and issuer failures could affect access or value. The 1:1 backing and legal claim are descriptions of the xStocks model; they do not remove counterparty or legal risk.

The AMDX description does not specify redemption procedures, fees, or the precise rights attached to holding the token. Read the current terms and check whether the product is available to you where you live before relying on stock-like exposure. Do not treat a token balance as a substitute for verifying those terms.
