PolyMAX Review: Is Its Paper-Trading Beta Worth Trying?
PolyMAX is a Telegram copy-trading app for Polymarket, but its Private Beta supports simulated trades only. You cannot trade or deposit real funds yet.
By the SkyBitcoins review team · Updated
Quick take
PolyMAX is best for Polymarket users who want to inspect copy-trading through a Telegram demo before putting money at risk. Its main advantage is that paper trades use live Polymarket order-book prices while staying off real accounts. But the beta cannot place real orders, and paper results may not carry over to live trading. Before depositing in any future version, check the fees, custody setup, security reviews and local Polymarket availability.

What can you actually do with PolyMAX today?
PolyMAX is a Telegram Mini App that watches selected Polymarket traders and attempts to mirror their new trades according to a strategy you choose. It does not predict markets or let you assemble your own trader list: PolyMAX’s team selects the traders and sets each strategy’s rules. You start a strategy yourself and can stop or change it later.
The Private Beta offers paper trading only. Demo trades are recorded inside PolyMAX using live Polymarket order-book prices; they do not place real orders or put funds into a Polymarket account. The bot only follows new trades, not positions a trader opened before you started. It can also skip signals or execute them at a different price or only partially.
There are two presets. The lower-risk option copies 15% of a trader’s trade, with a per-trade cap of 5% of your capital, a $150 maximum, a share-price range of $0.15–$0.85 and 2% slippage tolerance. The higher-risk preset uses the same copy size but a 10% capital cap, a $0.05–$0.95 range and 3% tolerance. These settings can change, and neither strategy guarantees a return.
What will PolyMAX cost you?
You do not need real funds to use the current paper account: PolyMAX says demo funds can be added in one tap. Since simulated trades do not place real orders, you are not paying a real trading fee through the beta. But a paper result is not a reliable estimate of what a live trade would earn. Real execution can face price movement, limited liquidity, partial fills and other costs or differences.
PolyMAX has not published its future live-trading fees. It says fees will be shown before real trading is activated, but that trading is not enabled yet. The app also says its future real-account orders are intended to go through Polymarket’s official CLOB API; that integration is still in development.
Minimum capital is listed as $10 for both strategy presets, but that figure does not mean you can deposit or trade that amount now. Check the terms and fee display again if real accounts launch, and account for any costs shown by Polymarket before deciding whether to trade.
How much should you trust PolyMAX with funds?
For now, the key limit on financial risk is that PolyMAX’s account is simulated: there are no real deposits or orders in the Private Beta. That does not establish how live funds would be held or protected. PolyMAX describes itself as an independent third-party app, not affiliated with, approved by or managed by Polymarket.
PolyMAX does not identify an audit, licence, named team or detailed security and custody model in its product description. It says trade activity is monitored on Polygon, with Polymarket’s Data API as a backup signal source. That explains part of the copying process, but not how a future live account would secure credentials, authorize orders or handle a security incident.
The bot’s execution is not guaranteed: a trade can be skipped, delayed, partially filled or completed at a different price. PolyMAX warns that the higher-risk strategy can lead to substantial losses, including losing some or all of the funds used. Before a live launch, look for clear custody and authorization details, independent security work, fee disclosures and rules for resolving problems. Also check that using Polymarket is permitted where you live.
What is using the Telegram app like?
Getting started is straightforward in concept: open PolyMAX through Telegram, use the Mini App for your account and strategy controls, add demo funds, then select and start a preset. You do not create a separate PolyMAX password; access uses your Telegram account. The app shows balances, positions and trade history, and sends trade notices in the chat.
The copying process filters signals for freshness, price, trade size, market status, liquidity and available balance. If a check fails, the bot may skip the trade. It sizes copies as a share of the trader’s position, subject to the strategy’s cap, and attempts to close your position proportionally when the trader sells. You can stop or change your strategy, but an order may already have been processed or missed while signals are moving.
Treat the paper account as a way to understand the interface and rules, not as proof of live performance. Telegram account security matters because it is the route into the app. Keep your Telegram account protected, and do not interpret demo balances or illustrative results as money you can withdraw.
Who should wait for a different service?
PolyMAX’s biggest limitation is decisive: it cannot currently trade with real money. You cannot deposit, withdraw or test real order execution in this beta. Anyone seeking a live copy-trading service should wait until PolyMAX enables real accounts and publishes how fees, custody, permissions and security work.
You also give up control over which traders the strategies follow. PolyMAX chooses those traders and may change strategy settings; users choose between the presets and can start or stop them. Copying can lag the original trade, and the app may reject a signal because of price movement, liquidity, minimum order size or risk rules. A strategy labelled lower risk still carries a chance of loss once live trading exists.
Use the beta only if you are comfortable with Telegram access and want to learn how its simulated copying behaves. Do not rely on its paper results as a forecast or deposit money based on them. If real trading launches, review the updated terms and fees and confirm Polymarket is available to you under local rules before proceeding.

Polymax FAQs
Can you trade real money with PolyMAX?
No. PolyMAX says its Private Beta has paper trading only; real-money trading and deposits are not enabled. Its planned Polymarket CLOB integration is still in development.
What fees does PolyMAX charge?
No real-money fees are currently applicable to the paper account because it places no real orders. PolyMAX says it will show fees before real trading is enabled, but it has not published those fees yet.
How does PolyMAX copy trades?
You open PolyMAX through Telegram and use a paper balance to simulate copying selected Polymarket traders. You choose and start one of PolyMAX's strategies; the bot then attempts to copy new trades under that strategy's limits.
Is PolyMAX affiliated with Polymarket, and is it audited?
PolyMAX says it is an independent third-party app, not affiliated with or controlled by Polymarket. It does not identify an audit, licence, or detailed security and custody model, so those remain important unknowns before any future real-money launch.
