What does holding SUP let you do?

SUP is Superfluid’s token, while Superfluid’s main product is a protocol for continuous onchain payments. It lets users and organisations set up token streams for uses such as payroll, grants, rewards, subscriptions and payments between software agents. A stream can move value over time instead of sending the full amount in one transaction.

If you hold SUP, the project describes the token as having a governance role. That is different from holding a Super Token used to send a stream: do not assume that SUP itself is the asset you need for a particular payment flow. Check which token a service accepts, how a stream starts and stops, and whether its terms allow you to withdraw or change the payment. SUP’s role does not guarantee that you will receive income or have a say in every protocol decision.

Which network and wallet should you use for SUP?

SUP has been issued on Ethereum and Base. It is not listed as the native token of either chain, so you need to select the network on which your SUP is held before sending it or interacting with an app. Sending a token on the wrong network can make it difficult or impossible to recover.

Use a wallet that supports the relevant EVM network, such as an Ethereum- or Base-compatible wallet. Before depositing or transferring SUP, verify the token contract address through Superfluid’s official channels and compare it with the network shown in your wallet. A token ticker alone is not enough to identify an asset; unrelated tokens can use the same symbol. You may also need the network’s native token to pay transaction gas. If a service asks you to bridge SUP, check the bridge, destination network and fees separately rather than assuming the transfer is automatic or risk-free.

How much SUP exists, and how much is circulating?

SUP has a stated total supply of 1 billion tokens. About 415.3 million were circulating as of November 8, 2026; no maximum supply is listed separately. Circulating supply can change as tokens are released or otherwise enter circulation, so treat the figure as a dated snapshot rather than a permanent limit.

The project’s token materials describe SUP’s governance role, but supply figures do not tell you how much voting influence you have or how a particular decision is made. Check the current governance rules and any proposal requirements before relying on SUP for participation. Market figures also move: on November 8, 2026, SUP’s quoted price was about $0.0033 and its market capitalisation about $1.4 million. Those figures can change quickly, and lower trading activity can make it harder to sell at a price close to a displayed quote. They are not a measure of future value.

How can you store SUP and limit the main risks?

Keep SUP in a wallet where you control the recovery phrase, and store that phrase offline in a secure place. Never share it with a person or website claiming it needs the phrase to verify, unlock or protect your tokens. For a larger holding, consider a hardware wallet, but first make sure it supports the correct network and token.

The main risks are not limited to SUP’s market price. A wrong-network transfer, compromised wallet, malicious approval or faulty smart contract can lead to losses. Superfluid streams also involve ongoing payment terms: check the rate, duration, recipient and available balance before authorising one, and understand how to stop or change it. Network congestion and gas costs can affect transactions. Only connect your wallet to services you have independently verified, review what permissions you grant, and keep some network-native currency available if you need to transact.

By the numbers

Superfluid in numbers

Superfluid (SUP) is ranked #2,744 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.36M and a price of $0.003267 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $3.27M, so roughly 42% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.

The price was down 15.0% over 7 days, down 9.5% over 30 days. It trades about 95% below its all-time high of $0.0639, set on Dec 7, 2025.

About 415.29M SUP are in circulation, from a total supply of 1B. No hard maximum supply is listed.

24-hour trading volume was about $19.1K, or 1.4% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

SUP has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Base, Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

SUP is linked to Superfluid, which we cover in our Payments rankings. See our Superfluid page for how the protocol works and how we score it.

SUP FAQs

Is SUP an Ethereum or Base token?

SUP has been issued on both Ethereum and Base. Check the network selected in your wallet and confirm the token contract address before sending it.

What is the total supply of SUP?

The stated total supply is 1 billion SUP, with about 415.3 million circulating as of November 8, 2026. Circulating supply can change over time.

What is SUP used for?

Superfluid is a protocol for continuous onchain payments, including streams for payroll, grants, rewards and subscriptions. SUP is the project’s token and is described as having a governance role; it is not necessarily the token used for every stream.

How do I store SUP safely?

Use a wallet that supports the network where your SUP is held, and verify the contract address before transferring or connecting to an app. Keep your recovery phrase private and offline, and review wallet approvals carefully.

Can Superfluid streams lose money?

A stream can move tokens over time, so check its payment rate, recipient, duration and how to stop or change it before approving. Smart contract bugs, wallet compromises, network fees and incorrect transfers can also cause losses.

What is the market cap of Superfluid?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Superfluid had a market cap of about $1.36M, ranking #2,744 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of SUP?

Superfluid's all-time high is $0.0639, reached on Dec 7, 2025. Its all-time low is $0.003250 (Nov 5, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of SUP?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 415.29M SUP were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.

Which blockchains is SUP on?

It has token contracts on Base, Ethereum.
