Owning RKLBON: Uses, Storage and Risks

RKLBON is Ondo’s tokenized version of Rocket Lab stock, designed to give you economic exposure similar to holding RKLB and to reinvest any dividends. It is a tokenized asset, not the same thing as holding Rocket Lab shares through a stockbroker. The description of the product does not establish that tokenholders have shareholder voting rights or other direct shareholder rights, so check Ondo’s terms before relying on any particular right.

Ondo describes its tokenized stocks as available for eligible non-U.S. retail and institutional users to mint and redeem 24 hours a day, five days a week, with access to traditional exchange liquidity. Additional restrictions apply. That availability does not mean every wallet, location or transaction is eligible, or that you can always trade at the underlying stock’s price. Consider whether tokenized exposure and its issuer-related risks fit your needs before holding it.

RKLBON is issued on Ethereum, Solana and BNB Chain. It is not a native coin that powers any of those networks; it is a token deployed on them. To hold it yourself, use a wallet that supports the specific network and token standard you plan to receive it on. A wallet that supports one network may not support the same asset on another.

Before sending RKLBON, confirm the network and token address with Ondo’s official information and make sure the receiving wallet supports that exact asset. Do not rely on the ticker alone: different tokens can use similar names or symbols. Sending a token over the wrong network, or to an address that cannot access it, can make it difficult or impossible to recover. You will also need the network’s native asset to pay transaction fees when moving tokens; those fees vary and are not published as a fixed RKLBON charge.

Ondo’s description says minting and redemption are available to eligible users, subject to additional restrictions; that should not be treated as a guarantee of immediate redemption at a particular price. Check the applicable terms, access rules and any transaction costs before relying on that route.

For self-custody, keep your wallet’s recovery phrase offline and private. Anyone who obtains it may be able to control the tokens, and a lost phrase may leave you without a way to restore access. Never share it with someone claiming they need it to verify, release or recover your RKLBON.

Use a wallet that supports the right chain, protect it with a strong device passcode, and keep your software updated. For a transfer, first verify the network, recipient address and token identity; consider a small test transaction if the amount and network fees make that practical. If you hold RKLBON through a third-party platform instead, review its custody and withdrawal arrangements. In either case, confirm that you can access the token on the network where it is held. A displayed balance is not enough if you cannot control or withdraw the asset.

RKLBON combines risks from the underlying company and from tokenization. Rocket Lab’s share price can fall, and the token may not track RKLB precisely. Trading can also be thin or uneven, making it harder to exit at a price close to the one you expect. Network outages, transfer mistakes, wallet compromise or a problem with the token’s smart contracts can affect access or value.
