What does KYO let you do in Kyo Finance?

KYO is the governance token for Kyo Finance, a decentralized exchange and liquidity-routing protocol built initially on Soneium. Kyo Finance combines an automated market maker (AMM) with an intent-based solver, aiming to route trades and liquidity across the Superchain ecosystem. The project also describes modular, white-label deployments for partners.

For you as a holder, the clearest stated role for KYO is governance participation. The project describes its governance as using fungible tokens rather than NFT-based locking. It does not publish enough detail to establish specific voting powers, rewards, or whether KYO is required to trade, provide liquidity, or use cross-chain routing. Treat those as separate questions to verify before relying on the token for a particular feature.

Kyo Finance is a DEX, not a general-purpose payment coin. Its protocol activity and KYO’s token value are not the same thing: using a trading venue does not necessarily give you a claim on its revenue or guarantee demand for its governance token.

Which networks support KYO, and how much exists?

KYO has been issued on Ethereum and Soneium; it is not listed as the native token of either chain. The project describes KYO as an ERC-20 governance token. Before sending or receiving it, check that your wallet is connected to the intended network and that the token contract matches Kyo Finance’s official contract information. A ticker alone is not enough to identify a token, since unrelated projects can use KYO too.

As of November 8, 2026, KYO had about 163.6 million tokens in circulation and a total supply of about 163.6 million, against a stated maximum supply of 200 million. The project has not published a release schedule in these facts, so the remaining amount under that ceiling should not be treated as a known timetable for new tokens entering circulation.

The quoted market price was about $0.033 on that date, with roughly $3,900 in 24-hour trading volume. These figures can change quickly; limited trading activity can also make it harder to trade at a quoted price or exit a position.

How should you store KYO without sending it to the wrong network?

For self-custody, use a wallet that supports the Ethereum or Soneium network and the relevant token standard. Hardware wallets can keep signing keys offline, while software wallets are more convenient but remain exposed to device compromise, malicious apps, and phishing. In either case, protect your recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming they need it to help you.

Before transferring KYO, confirm the network and token contract through Kyo Finance’s official channels. A transfer on the wrong network may be difficult or impossible to recover. If you are using a centralized exchange or another custodian, check its current KYO withdrawal networks and rules first; availability can differ from wallet support.

If you connect a wallet to Kyo Finance, review the transaction and requested permissions before signing. Token approvals can allow a smart contract to move tokens up to the approved amount. Avoid signing requests you do not understand, and periodically review and revoke approvals you no longer need using a reputable wallet tool.

What could go wrong when you hold or use KYO?

KYO carries the risks of both a small crypto asset and a token connected to DeFi software. Its quoted 24-hour volume was about $3,900 as of November 8, 2026, so liquidity may be limited and trades can move the price. The token’s market price can also fall sharply; past highs or short-term gains do not indicate what it will do next.

Kyo Finance relies on smart contracts and an intent-based solver. Bugs, exploits, faulty integrations, or failures in cross-chain execution could put funds or protocol operations at risk. Kyo Finance has not published an audit status in these facts, so do not assume the protocol has been independently reviewed. Cross-chain systems can add dependencies beyond the chain where you hold KYO.

The project does not publish KYO-specific fee, reward, or token-unlock terms in these facts. Check current governance and contract information before counting on voting rights or other benefits. Only commit funds you can afford to lose, and avoid confusing Kyo Finance’s KYO with another token sharing the ticker.

By the numbers

Kyo in numbers

Kyo (KYO) is ranked #1,622 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $5.34M and a price of $0.0326 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation ($5.34M) is close to its market cap, so little new supply is still to come.

The price was up 13.5% over 7 days, up 90.2% over 30 days. It trades about 84% below its all-time high of $0.2072, set on Dec 10, 2025.

About 163.57M KYO are in circulation out of a maximum supply of 200M (82% issued).

24-hour trading volume was about $3.93K, or 0.1% of its market cap: low turnover, so large orders can move the price.

KYO has token contracts on 2 chains we track, including Ethereum, Soneium. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

KYO is described as Kyo Finance’s governance token. The project has not published enough detail here to confirm specific voting powers, rewards, or whether KYO is required to use its DEX.

Which networks is KYO on?

KYO has been issued on Ethereum and Soneium. Check the network and token contract carefully before transferring, since a ticker by itself does not identify the correct asset.

What is KYO’s supply?

As of November 8, 2026, circulating and total supply were both about 163.6 million KYO, with a stated maximum of 200 million. The project has not published a release schedule in these facts.

No crypto token or DeFi protocol is risk-free. KYO’s risks include price volatility, limited trading activity, smart-contract vulnerabilities, and uncertainty about protocol security reviews.

Does KYO have a maximum supply?

The stated maximum supply is 200 million KYO. That cap does not establish when any remaining tokens might enter circulation; check project announcements and contract information for updates.

What is the market cap of Kyo?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Kyo had a market cap of about $5.34M, ranking #1,622 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
