What does holding IMU actually give you?
IMU is Immunefi’s token, which the project describes as a central asset for its onchain security platform, including the Magnus platform. Immunefi presents it as part of an ecosystem involving protocols, security researchers and community members. That describes the project’s intended role for the token, but it does not tell you exactly what a holder can do with IMU today.
The project description does not spell out specific holder rights, such as voting powers, access to services, fee discounts, or a claim on revenue. Don’t assume that holding IMU automatically gives you any of these. Before treating it as a way to participate in Immunefi or its security services, look for current official documentation explaining what actions token holders can take and any conditions that apply. If those details are not clear, consider the token’s practical utility uncertain.
Which chain and wallet can hold IMU?
IMU is issued on Ethereum; it is not identified as the native token of a blockchain. To hold it in a self-custody wallet, use a wallet that supports Ethereum assets and confirm it can display and send the specific IMU token. Support for Ethereum alone does not guarantee a wallet will automatically show every token.
Before adding or transferring IMU, verify the token contract address through an official Immunefi channel. A matching name or ticker is not enough to distinguish the real token from a lookalike. Check that your wallet is set to Ethereum, and make sure the receiving platform or wallet supports deposits and withdrawals for that exact asset. Sending IMU to an address on the wrong network, or to a service that does not support it, can result in funds that are difficult or impossible to recover. Network fees may also apply when you make Ethereum transactions; check the wallet’s current estimate before approving.
How much IMU exists, and can supply change?
Immunefi’s published token figures list a total supply of 10 billion IMU and about 1.06 billion circulating as of November 8, 2026. A separate maximum-supply figure is not stated. These figures can change, so treat them as a dated snapshot rather than a live count.
Total supply is not the same as circulating supply: tokens not currently counted as circulating may enter circulation later, depending on the project’s arrangements. That can affect the amount of IMU available in the market. The figures alone do not tell you when tokens may be released or who holds them. Check Immunefi’s current token information for any published allocation or release schedule before relying on supply assumptions. Do not infer scarcity or future value from the total supply number by itself.
How can you store IMU more safely?
For self-custody, secure the wallet’s recovery phrase offline and never share it with anyone claiming to help you. Use a device you keep updated, set a strong device passcode, and consider a hardware wallet if you can manage the extra recovery steps safely. A hardware wallet does not protect you if you approve a malicious transaction or expose your recovery phrase.
Before sending IMU, verify the recipient address and network, and start with a small test transfer when it is practical to do so. Read transaction prompts carefully: a wallet approval can give a smart contract permission to move tokens, and that permission may remain active after the initial transaction. Revoke approvals you no longer need using a trusted wallet feature. Keep a secure backup of your recovery phrase, but do not store it in a screenshot, email, or cloud note that could be accessed if your account is compromised.
What could go wrong if you hold IMU?
IMU carries market risk: its price can move sharply, and you may not be able to sell at the price you expect. Trading volume and liquidity can change, making it harder to complete a transaction without a large price impact. A project’s stated plans for a token also do not guarantee that its usefulness or demand will grow.
There are technology and custody risks as well. Ethereum transactions are generally irreversible, wallet credentials can be stolen, and a malicious token or contract interaction can put assets at risk. Confirm the token contract and review transaction requests before signing. The project’s description does not specify the token’s concrete holder rights, so there is also uncertainty about what holding IMU provides in practice. Only risk money you can afford to lose, and do not treat past price movements or supply figures as a promise of future performance.
By the numbers
Immunefi in numbers
Immunefi (IMU) is ranked #2,507 by market capitalisation, with a market cap of about $1.74M and a price of $0.001645 as of Nov 8, 2026. Its fully diluted valuation is $16.4M, so roughly 11% of the eventual supply is in circulation today; tokens still to be released could add selling pressure.
The price was down 1.0% over 7 days, down 13.8% over 30 days. It trades about 87% below its all-time high of $0.0126, set on Jan 22, 2026.
About 1.06B IMU are in circulation, from a total supply of 10B. No hard maximum supply is listed.
24-hour trading volume was about $812K, or 47% of its market cap: very high turnover.
IMU has token contracts on Ethereum. Always check the contract address before buying or bridging: copycat tokens often reuse a well-known name and ticker.

IMU FAQs
What is the IMU token used for?
Immunefi describes IMU as a central asset for its onchain security ecosystem and Magnus platform. Its project description does not specify concrete rights or benefits that holders receive, so check current official documentation before assuming a particular use.
What blockchain is IMU on?
IMU is issued on Ethereum. Use an Ethereum-compatible wallet that supports the specific token, and verify its contract address through an official Immunefi channel before transferring funds.
What is the total supply of IMU?
Published figures list a total supply of 10 billion IMU and about 1.06 billion circulating as of November 8, 2026. A separate maximum-supply figure is not stated, and supply figures can change.
Does IMU give holders governance rights?
The project description does not set out specific voting rights for IMU holders. Don’t assume IMU provides governance powers unless current official documentation explains them.
How do I store IMU safely?
Keep your recovery phrase offline and private, verify the token contract and network, and review wallet approvals before signing. IMU also has market, liquidity and transaction risks, and token utility may not match what you expect.
What is the market cap of Immunefi?
As of Nov 8, 2026, Immunefi had a market cap of about $1.74M, ranking #2,507 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.
What is the all-time high of IMU?
Immunefi's all-time high is $0.0126, reached on Jan 22, 2026. Its all-time low is $0.001013 (Jul 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.
What is the circulating supply of IMU?
As of Nov 8, 2026, about 1.06B IMU were in circulation; no fixed maximum supply is listed.
Which blockchains is IMU on?
It has token contracts on Ethereum.
