GUN (GUNZ): Uses, Storage and Risks

GUN is the utility token for the GUNZ gaming platform. You may use it to buy and trade eligible game items represented as NFTs, and platform descriptions also say players can earn it through challenges. GUN is also described as paying for transactions on the GUNZ network. These uses depend on the game and network supporting the specific asset or feature; holding GUN alone does not guarantee access to a particular item, reward or game.

Before transferring tokens or buying an NFT, check the game’s current instructions and confirm the token and NFT are on a network it supports. An item’s ability to trade may depend on the game’s rules and marketplace availability. Don’t assume every game item is an NFT or that every NFT can be moved outside its game. If your reason for holding GUN is gameplay, check which titles currently support its features and what transaction costs apply.

GUN is associated with the GUNZ gaming network and is reported as issued on Avalanche and Solana. Those are distinct blockchains, so a GUN token or NFT on one network is not automatically interchangeable with an asset on the other. Confirm the network and token contract shown by the official GUNZ instructions before you deposit, withdraw or connect a wallet. A transfer to the wrong network or address can result in lost funds.

Use a wallet that explicitly supports the network and token format you intend to hold. A wallet’s ability to display an address does not prove it supports the correct token or GUNZ game features. If you use an exchange, check which GUN deposit and withdrawal networks it supports; matching the token name is not enough. Network fees, wallet support and available game integrations can change, so verify them before each transaction. GUNZ does not publish a single wallet recommendation that applies to every use.

GUN has a maximum and total supply of 10 billion tokens. About 4.0 billion were circulating as of 2026-11-08, so the circulating amount was substantially below the stated maximum. The difference matters: tokens not yet circulating can enter the market later, depending on the project’s release arrangements. A maximum supply is not the same as a circulating supply, and it does not tell you when remaining tokens might become available.

As of 2026-11-08, GUN’s price was about $0.00177, with a market capitalisation of about $7.1 million and fully diluted valuation of about $17.7 million. These are changing market figures, not guaranteed values. The token had also fallen sharply from its 2025 all-time high by that date. Treat past prices and supply figures as context only, not as a guide to future performance. Check current circulating supply and token distribution information before making a decision.

For self-custody, store GUN in a wallet that supports the exact network and token you hold. Keep your recovery phrase offline and private; anyone with it may be able to control the wallet. Never share it with someone claiming to provide support, and be cautious of unsolicited messages, fake wallet prompts and websites asking you to connect or sign a transaction.

Before sending a small or large amount, check the destination address, network and token contract. A wrong-network transfer may not be recoverable. Read wallet prompts carefully: a signature or approval can grant permissions beyond a simple transfer. Keep enough of the relevant network’s fee token for transactions if required, and test with a small amount when practical. If you hold GUN on an exchange, the exchange controls the keys and withdrawal availability; enable account security measures and understand its custody terms. Back up recovery details securely, but avoid storing them in screenshots, email or cloud notes.

GUN carries the usual risks of a volatile gaming token: its price can fall sharply, trading may be limited, and a token’s usefulness can depend on games and marketplaces continuing to support it. A game update, marketplace change or network outage could affect whether you can use or trade an asset. NFTs linked to games can also have limited buyers or become less useful if the game’s player base or support declines.

There are additional technical risks. Sending tokens on the wrong network, using an incorrect contract, approving a malicious transaction or losing your recovery phrase can cause permanent losses. Bridges and cross-network transfers add another point of failure, so use them only when the official process and destination are clear. GUNZ does not publish a guarantee that your token or game items will retain value or remain usable. Check current network support, token release information and game terms, and only risk funds you can afford to lose.
